Im at work so had to listen to arsenal player. Wow how much data does that use, I've used about 700 mb of data in 1.75 hours.is that right. I've got l gig for the month and its swallowed the lot nearly. I've watchedlive tv and not used that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - you must have a good job steve if you can listen to the match while working mate..i hope your not a surgeon....:)

Ed if I had a good job my employer would give me the company wi fi code so I didn't use up all my data. Tight fisted sods.

11 Feb 2015 06:30:54
I'm in Austria ski-ing, pay a bloody fortune to Sly Tv and they block my Go app from working over here. That is what you call tight fisted. Barstewards!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - just go and drown your sorrows red dog..go and get piste.. :)

11 Feb 2015 10:46:27
Ed, was that a sly advert for southern comfort there?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - well they do sponsor me saint.. :)

10 Feb 2015 22:08:08
Just watched the Arsenal game on my brand new Smart TV.

I called the ref a wa***r and he sent me upstairs to watch the rest of the match.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - watching that game would be punishment enough dags..

10 Feb 2015 23:23:53
I sent a player off in the first minute of a match today for deliberate handball.
He said, "You haven't got a bloody clue what you're doing, ref."
I said, "That's what they all say. right lads, scrum down."

There's no gimme games in the premier league especially at this stage when everyone is fighting for something whether it a title, CL, Europa spot or religation battle or not getting dragged into one.
We got away with a warning of that tonight, playing our best team available is a must in every game

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - your right G62..

11 Feb 2015 03:21:25
Well said mate,

In the last 15 games or so, there isn't much difference between playing a side that's aiming for top four or struggling to avoid relegation. This is why the EPL is the best league in the world.

Tonight we dominated the first half, and got very complacent in the second half, we weren't up for a fight, most of the players looked like they were happy to drift through the game. Ozil is the only player who stood out for me. He was lethal in the first half.

I can only hope Sanchez hasn't picked up a knock and Ramsey doesn't have a long term injury.

3 points is 3 points, it doesn't matter how you get them. Back ahead of Spurs and on track to finish 3rd/4th.

Agree0 Disagree0

Welcome home Ed, hope your well deserved break went OK mate

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - cheers mate it did..

G5TR1NG, Well deserved? He left ed02 all on his own to single handedly revamp the whole rumours site whilst he swilled copious amounts of Southern comfort and watched videos of Everton in the Arteta days!

A win is a win is a win, 3 points and move on.

Biggest concern for me .Ramsey surely not another lengthy lay off??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ramsey is struggling. He peaked last year I believe. We won't see them goal returns again.

Agree0 Disagree1

When he has been fit I feel he has been given less freedom to roam forwards than he did last year. That said he hasn't been able to hit any sort of form.

We were poor second half, maybe a little lucky to get result but have to ref had mare

I'm starting to think Wenger out purely based on the fact he still seems unable to sort the injuries out. Seriously what the hell is going on at Arsenal? Its a joke, I've never known anything like it

Normal service resumed. Arsenal win, The Toot lose. Arsenal into the top four, Toot back in 6th. Loving it.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Hoping for the teams around us to start dropping more points. It's looking really tight.

Hang on a minute, Balotelli has just scored a premier league goal. Rodgers will be saying he's absolutey incredible in his post match interview no doubt, along with his 4 favourite words, pressed. probed. outstanding. intensity.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

10 Feb 2015 22:00:39
Rodgers once said.

"We play with 11 men, other teams play with 10 men and a goalkeeper".

WTF is that all about?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - all other keepers are transvestites?..

10 Feb 2015 22:11:17
You could be right Ed.

Did Spain deport you back to blighty mate? :-)

{Ed025's Note - yes dags..drank the place dry mate..

3 points that pushes us into joint 3rd.

Broke into top 4 at last.

Happy.

The win is the most important thing. Listened to it on arsrnal player and they kept using terms like, no confidence, very nervous, no continuity and very slow. We were playing Leicester for hods sake, bottom of the league. We should be up for it and bags of confidence. This should not be happening, we should not be fragile.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

So this isn't grinding out a result? Btw what an awful ref almost cost us 3 pts again

10 Feb 2015 22:06:02
Nigel didn't seem to be enjoying it at all haha! Hopefully the win will get the flowing football back!

10 Feb 2015 21:05:54
Oh dear

Its been coming, we need to pull our socks up or we could up throwing it away

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Really poor second half performance everyone has just switched off.

Agree1 Disagree0

It definitely has, Arsenal have been poor and I feel a bit sorry Leicester. We need to start showing some fight, seem to be missing the ox and a fully fit sanchez. I'd have give welbeck a run out aswell, his pace and work ethic would have helped in the second half.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2015 20:32:37
no complaints about scoreline but really struggling to understand why we've started Sanchez. Not only is he not a no. 9 but I have to say he's having a mare tonight. Given the ball away more times than anyone and at crucial moments, by doing stupid things like running into two players or taking shots straight at Leicester defenders when there are a couple of our players in acres of space. He's been rushed back. Seems to be to everyone's detriment really. Sub him for a proper CF at half-time

Believable1 Unbelievable2

10 Feb 2015 20:31:47
2 up Walcott on the sheet again.

Decent first half. . . . another 2 please

10 Feb 2015 20:11:43
This game is crying out for giroud already.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

10 Feb 2015 18:51:58
Sanchez and Walcott start, Giroud and Ramsey miss out

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not a bad call today, love them both but they were awful on saturday

By that reckoning 352 its Le Coq v Leicester tonight mate :-)

Have just seen Louis van gonks pre match interview where he rants about west ham and the long ball game, if you haven't seen it please do its hilarious, I was expecting the men in the white coats to take him away at any point.

It's seriously embarrassing, and I'm not an utd fan!

Believable10 Unbelievable0

We are glad I not to 337 :)

I have to say yes very amusing and slightly strange considering Sam's comment was more for personal gain rather than a snipe.

Lets get a win and jump the spurs tonight!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

10 Feb 2015 14:45:51
Our next few league games:

Leicester (H)
Palace (A)
Everton (H)
QPR (A)
West Ham (H)
Newcastle (A)

Now realistically, how many points can we get from these? All 3 home games are 9 points imo. Palace away will be very tricky. QPR should be a win and Newcastle could also be a potential banana skin. I think if we are looking at 13-15 points from these games. 16 or 18 would be very good ofcourse.

Thoughts?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

20 points :-)

Joking aside we should expect to win all of those, maybe one draw if we are not on top form

Agree1 Disagree0

Realistically, there isn't one team on there that we shouldn't be expected to beat (sorry Ed025).

Since none of us are perfect, I'll allow some margin for error and say I'd be over the moon with anything more than 16 points and disappointed with anything below 13.

Agree1 Disagree0

If we want to challenge for the fourthplace cup or third place salver, dwe have to get 16 points from those games minimum.

Agree1 Disagree0

5 wins and a draw .

I honestly believe that is a very realistic target

Agree1 Disagree0

14 minimum for me and anything above a very welcome bonus.
We need to get into the top 4 on level games very very soon before we can even think of more.
I've a feeling Southampton aren't going anywhere without a very decent fight and utd and Lvg need CL football desperately to justify their spending, add to that spurs and Liverpool want it every much as we do margin for error will soon be very slim

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2015 18:50:46
My worry is that Spurs, Liverpool and Southampton have been playing very well recently and getting the results to show for it. And Man U are going along picking up a lot of points despite playing pants.

3rd and 4th place are still up for grabs. Of the next 6 games we need 15 points to be ahead of the pack by the end of March. Win at Palace away would be a huge confidence booster.

In the next week, there's Liverpool v Spurs and Southampton v Liverpool. So that's afew rivals guarenteed to drop afew precious points. Following that Liverpool v City, Chelsea v Southampton and Man U v Spurs. There will be points dropped, and its vital that we are 3rd with 9/10 games to go, putting us in a really strong position.

i know ozil has been playing well and I love the guy, as bad a rep as he has for being lazy I just admire genius. saying that I wonder in barcelona would be interested in some sort of deal to take ozil for the amount we paid for him.

1) they need a no10 of his quality and sitting behind those 3 demons upfront would sort their xavi conundrum, and in la liga he can cruise for 30 games out of 38 atleast.

2) probably piss madrid off.

3) use that money and some from other sales to fund a move for bale, who seems to get booed.

just imagine a sideline duo of sanchez and bale. tenacity, speed, power.

and considering bale will cost a fortune, madrid go out and splurge on Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and De gea : )

I know we are overloaded with CAMs at the moment. But Ozil is our future. Cazorla and Rosicky are getting old. An attaking 3 of Ozil, Sanchez, Walcott with Wilshere, Ox, Gnabry as back up is the future.

Selling him would be madness.

Agree3 Disagree0

Barcelona cannot buy anyone at the moment, plus Ozil needs to up his game as he is probably only worth half as much as we paid right now.

I think that if we had known that Sanchez was coming we never would have signed Ozil, however he is ours now and I sincerely hope he finds some form and learns to work harder for the team

Agree1 Disagree0

I am aware that barcelona are unable to sign until jan 2016, however I think the way we play now with interchanging no10's we don't need a conventional no 10 and with the amount of midfielder in our academy and the team, it would not be the wrst case scenario.

saying that I love the player.

Agree0 Disagree0

At the moment if someone offered 40m i'd snap their hands off. For me ozil struggles with the pace and power of the prem, and he isn't the first and won't be the last. Get someone I who can.

10 Feb 2015 07:13:50
If fit Sanchez should play tonight because dispite their obvious problems on and off the pitch Leicester won't turn up already beaten.
We need to get straight back into good habits after Saturdays disappointment and any dropped points tonight would be disastrous for team confidence and possibly be the difference between being in the CL or Europa next season come May.
Chances to recover points will run out so take no chances and be the best we can be

Believable1 Unbelievable2

10 Feb 2015 08:19:07
Every game from now until the end of the season should be treated like a cup game.

If we want to keep attracting players like sanchez and ozil, then we need to be in the top 4 in may.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact there manager is still in charge is a good thing for us

Agree1 Disagree0

DG not if he attacks our players and grabs them round the neck!

I think AW can take him in a fist fight anyway, he scared Maureen earlier in the season

Agree0 Disagree0

337 LOL. Like it mate

Tonight:
Szczesny or Ospina?
Chambers or Bellerin?
Gabriel or Mertesacker?
Gabriel or Koscielny?
Walcott or Welbeck?
Sanchez or Ozil?
Coquelin or Flamini?
Gibbs or Monreal?
Ramsey or Rosicky?

O, B, G, K, Wa, S, C, G, R.

Agree1 Disagree0

Only dags would put R for the last one when two peoples second name starts with R :)

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2015 08:49:28
Dags, is the R for Ramsey or Rosicky? I'd give Rosicky a run out as Rambo has just lost his way lately with mis-passes. Rambo will get it back as he knows the standards he has to step up to make the starting line up. I'm going to go 4-1 tonight time to get mean and bang in the goal difference. COYG

Agree0 Disagree0

With Ramsay - although playing poorly lately, would a home game against bottom club be good for him? Pull a few string, nick a goal perhaps, confidence restored?
He is definitely a confidence player

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2015 11:13:49
Id go for strongest team possible tonight.

Ospina, Bellerin, Mert, Kos, Monreal, Coq, Ramsey, Walcott, Caz, Sanchez, Giroud.

Then for Boro at the weekend we rotate.

Szszecy, Chambers, Gabriel, Kos, Gibbs, Flamini, Rosicky, Ozil, Sanchez, Welbeck, Giroud.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's from Dagenham, they're a bit dodgy there he probably thinks he can get away with 12 players and no one will notice :-)
