Don’t really understand why he keeps coming off. I haven’t seen him finish a game this season.

Knowing our club he must be on a full game bonus and we don’t want to pay the money.

Wenger is slowly ruining Lacazette. The guy is looking shot.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 22:35:20
Agree, but when Lacazette looks up and see's Welbeck and Iwobi around him, he's probably praying to get taken off.

10 Jan 2018 23:03:35
To be fair he didn't do much today as well. But I'd rather keep him on. That tickle shot iwobi had. Wow.

11 Jan 2018 07:18:38
Agree, Wenger's handling of Lacazette has been shocking. He has a strange habit of ruining certain players. He has tried the same with Kolasinac, by dropping him to the bench on certain occasions. His use or rather lack of use of Walcott and Coquelin this seasons has been strange. I know both appear to be going, but neither player are any different from last season and yet Wemger failed to select them.

Im Very glad its starting to come in but does anyone get the feeling VAR is going to work against us in some sort of controversial way tonight.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Jan 2018 14:36:15
Well the idea of Var is to eliminate controversy so no in that respect. We could have for example penaltys that have been given against us that wasn't refused at our end. Not really getting that excited about it. Every team get the rub of the green evens out one way or another anyhow.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 14:37:36
Like, at 1-1 Hazard gets a second yellow for diving, = a red card, but upon review. A penalty is awarded, second yellow rescinded. Mustafi gets a red card for stopping a goal scoring opportunity, Hazard, recovers from his life threatening injury to score from the spot. Chelsea win 2-1.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 14:47:35
I don't think the VAR can overturn second yellows, only straight reds. Might be wrong though.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 16:59:17
It will only overturn total wrongs. Not iffy tight decisions.

10 Jan 2018 19:05:13

What for doing what 21 year olds do. For me it screams out the lack of disapline and carefree attitude at Arsenal.

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 12:07:00
Why? Because 21 and partied on Friday night? If that’s the case then Wilshere should of left arsenal a long time ago but no because he’s “our saviour”.

To be fair guys it's the lack of discipline of most young players not just one at arsenal. As for the post I do hope you're not being serious Malaga.

Agree1 Disagree1

10 Jan 2018 13:58:56
Bit harsh methinks, however, when in a high profile job such as he is, drinking and partying the night before a match is totally unacceptable and he should be disciplined accordingly.
Probably won't be though as I don't think discipline is enforced as it should be at the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 14:57:16
It's no different in the real world Malaga, the raver is smashed every weekend and will miss every two Monday's in four due to being over the limit to drive and I never get sacked.

Agree2 Disagree1

10 Jan 2018 14:59:11
I totally disagree gooner jim. I see ray parlour saying the other day when arsene saw him with a beer he said no drinking or you're fined 2 weeks wages. I don't think he's as soft as people think as I'm sure he has very strict club rules. Also it was 2 nights before the game. Not excusing it but apparently he was in the team hotel the night before.

10 Jan 2018 15:55:38

Doesn't your boss at McDonald's get a bit upset though?

Agree1 Disagree0

McDonalds lol I'm a scaffolder dags and the boss doesn't want the raver putting the boys lives in jeopardy and is glad I start on Tuesdays. The only people who miss me on Mondays are the mums who miss the ravers ripped torso.

10 Jan 2018 18:50:20
He should be punished. Contract termination is a bit drastic. I love how people compare a professional footballer partying a day before a massive game to your average 21 year old going for a drink. There is a lot more nuance to Iwobi situation. On top of that he is a struggling player in a struggling team and this is how he prepares. This sums up our club. The professionalism is a joke.

Staggering reports that we have started negotiating to give Wilshere a new contract by offering him a basic package lower than his current deal. No wonder we have so many players with contracts with less than 24 months to go. Since the departure of Dein back in 2007 and Fiszman the club has been totally dominated by Wenger. We have have been on a slow decline since then with the exception of picking up 3 FA Cups and 3 Community Shileds. On the business side Gazidis has done exceptionally well, but on player acquisitions and contracts we have suffered as these I'm sure have been led by Wenger and have been disasterous on the whole. This summer we could lose 3 of our top players for nothing, a loss if they were under long contracts of over £100m, plus a cost to replace them of at least the same. Indeed, we could spend all of the £300m we have in reserves replacing the trio and adding 3 or 4 additional players that we need. People blame Kronke and the board, butit is Wenger who initiates the club's strategy and they haven't takenthe huge funds out of the club. Perhaps the guilt of Kroenke is confined to allowing Wenger to remain and giving him a free hand. I feel times are changing and with a top four position and a trophy unlikely, this could be the year of change. If Wenger were to depart, despite the many good things he has achieved, I wouldn't want him to stay on as a director nor give his opinion of his replacement . We need a clean sweep and allow a new manager to mange without Wenger's presence. Rant over!

I suspect that Arsenal know that jack bleeds Arsenal and staying is his preferred destination. As much as I'm one of his biggest fans I'm of the opinion that given his return to form the last two months it doesn't given the history of the player grant a pay rise. To offer a lower package would be hard to swallow for him. Most fans on here over the past two years have condemned giving jack a new contract full stop. Now he's a must keep. Fans have also questioned the loyalty of players running down contracts and they have been branded as scum. The same people didn't want jacks loyalty. He will stay he is Arsenal that's how I see it.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 13:28:06
We don't know what is being offered. Just paper reports which are usually rubbish. I'd like to think if it's a lower wage the appearance bonuses or whatever will bump it. Haven't we got a new contract negotiator. I swear some of our players are very overpaid so perhaps a lower wage or leave will be best. Although we'd probably have no players at that rate.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 16:57:34
I for once agree with the club, he is getting offered a lower basic but performance and availability pay which if he actually plays will be a pay rise. he's milked this club so far in as much as the time he's played to payed.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2018 17:09:56
He's incredibly injury prone.
Wages, depending on minutes on the pitch, is fair.

After all his injuries over the past 6 season's, he should understand Arsenal Football Club's predicament and sign the contract.

Things don't change under Wenger, as we sit second in the physio league with 8 injuries, almost exclusively muscular ones. What's more interesting is that this season we cannot blame fixture congestion as we are not in the CL and have been able to rest the first eleven in all cup competitions. This proves that Wenger's training methods, tactics and lack of rotation in PL matches must be at the heart of the problem.

Just to think R. G. you are always laughing and taking the mick out of spurs, I noticed you've piped down as you know your club is absolutely finished with no champions league football again, top players leaving and replacing them with Johnny Evans lol and getting turned over by championship clubs in the cup. Yes you will come back with spurs haven't won the league since 61 but we are in a much healthier position than you now, a better squad and gone further in the cup, in the last 16 of champions league, and are above you in the league.

10 Jan 2018 11:04:14
Oh dear raver61 embarrassing yourself again. Premature as usual, so I hear.
I am simply realistic and honest in my opinions and feel no need to post on the toot site to gain satisfaction from their failure to win trophies.
Let me remind you that you haven't won the league since 1961, 57 years ago. You have never won the Premier League. You are currently also out of the top four and only 2 points above us, with virtually no chance of winning the league and are out of the League Cup. The chance of winning the CL are slim, having to get past Juventus in the last 16 and then beat 3 top teams over 7 matches to win he competition. Yes, you are still in the FA Cup, but so are City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
It will be interesting to see the outcome when you fail to win anything yet again, as can be seen similar to Sol Campbell, Walker left to win trophies and be paid the going rate, Rose and others have kicked off and reports of Kane being linked to Real have emerged. Think Modric, Bale, etc. The pain at the toot just goes on. 1961, yes 1961.

Sol Campbell that was coming up to 20 years ago when you were a good side, no top players want to join anymore as spurs and Chelsea are better options in London.
