Raver - how ambitious is your team?

"It means more than a trophy," he told the BBC. "We can be proud of our season.

"It's been tough, especially because we feel we've played 37 games away from home.

They truly have taken over where we left off SY mate, 4th place trophy and above Arsenal is obviously where Spurs are at these days.
When we were unable to win a trophy for a decade we invented the 4th place trophy and to compensate for not being able to compete nationally we localised our own mini title, we also built a new stadium and blamed it for anything and everything that went went wrong.
It seems Spurs always seem to naturally migrate to thier natural habitat, in our shadow.

True but we also wallowed in celebrating finishing above Spurs. That was BS - who cares what they do. I care about us. Trophies and competing is what I want and don’t care who we compare ourselves to as long as it’s the top guys.
I can’t believe he said it’s more important than a trophy as players want two things 🏆 and 💰.

Not having collected a single away point in 2018 absolutely confirms the decision to replace Wenger was totally correct. Now sign up Allegri and provide sufficient funds to re-build the squad. Reports of negotiations to sign Leno and conclude a deal to extend Wilshere's contract, lead me to believe that we may well have secured a manager, which will be announced at the end of the season.

Hi there G62. I do not believe that we have secured a manager yet! I think this because the managers I think we are interested are currently in jobs. I believe we have narrowed it down to two or three. I don’t think the club will act disrespectfully towards another club but the possition that is available will be well known amongst the managers. I’m starting to think it will be allegri. I think we may have competition from Chelsea but feel that the prospect of joining us is far superior to that of Chelsea .

Not getting a single away point this year is ridiculously poor and as the only league side in the country not to do so speaks volumes about just how poor we have become but I just the grand scheme of things it's become pretty irrelevant now because it's all eyes on the future since Arsenes leaving was announced.

Win lose or draw Sunday does it matter really?
It's what we do from August onwards that is important now.

It also highlights the lack of quality between the top 6 and everyone else, that we can be so shambolic with 13 defeats and no away point in 2018 and still be 6th.
