Chris,
Where are you mate? Haven't seen you for ages.

Oh wait, you support Utd, so you are probably having trouble staying awake :-)

10 Nov 2015 20:49:54
I'm here mate, had a few problems in my area regarding phones lines etc so Internet has been non existent at the best of times, so unfortunately I have been unable to part my wisdom on you :)

I know mate how bad are we atm lol, we are struggling to score goals or create much at all in games and find ourselves 2 points off the top, in Europe we have been average at best and it looks like topping the group will go to last game with us and Wolfsburg and we got knocked out in the carling cup by a championship side on pens!

our manager is under pressure and rightly so.

how is your season going?

:)

10 Nov 2015 21:21:38
Lol, well we are rocking and rolling, bar Bayern result, and fund ourselves just a whisker in front of your mob.

Funny 'ol game as Greavsie would say mate.

Have to agree though Chris, your 'caretaker' manager is doing a decent job :-)

10 Nov 2015 21:01:09
Its alright Chris we're all still fully paid up members of the wide awake club :-) .
What was it Dick Emery used to say?
Must pretty much sum up how you Honey Rosie and the rest of the crew are feeling.

Transport for London information board trolls Tottenham fans for celebrating Dele Alli's Man of the Match performance against Arsenal.

Love that one have to say.

Like it Dave.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 20:11:09
Love it.

10 Nov 2015 20:50:35
Just jealous Dave that arsenal haven't got a youngster like him. Spurs are the academy of football with all our class youngsters playing week in week out. Just watched Claude the big arsenal fan saying spurs are the best side to play at your ground this season. He even said that spurs will challenge for the title lol.

Agree1 Disagree2

10 Nov 2015 21:23:40
To be fair Raver, your mob are probably the best team to play at our's this season.
You certainly gave our reserve team a run for their money.

Fair play mate :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Nov 2015 07:42:13
Lol is right raver.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Nov 2015 11:10:51
Dele Alli did not come through the Spurs academy?

And it's funny that you are trying to insinuate that Arsenal don't have youngsters Raver.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Nov 2015 12:34:45
Suppose he is one their own too ;)

11 Nov 2015 17:49:05
Best team to play at ours Dags? what about Bayern then?

Or do you mean put up the best performance.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 17:30:48
Don't know what all the fuss is about.
Gestede tried to throw it out so Joe Hart would have to take a goal kick.
Hart wanted to stop ball going out so he can quickly launch ball upfield.
Derby, as Red Dog said, anything to mention City eh? Lol.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

10 Nov 2015 18:01:57
He does get awfully defensive about his beloved City dags. I really don't get what the debate is. Gestede is clearly throwing it out of play, aiming wide of Hart and throwing it hard. Hart doesn't need to get out of the way, he just needs to stand still and its a goal kick, as you grow and Steve have already said.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 18:25:26
Hart was sporting putting the ball out. Gestedes knew if he threw the ball to hart, he would just boot the ball up field basically taking Gestedes out of the game. Gestedes was giving it back to city so he could get into position, end of. Hart knew what he was trying to do and messed up.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 18:48:48
Yeah, what Steve said.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 19:26:39
That's it exactly.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 19:38:19
Derby,
I'm surprised you haven't mentioned how sexy the City players look in sky blue.

Lol, in joking mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 20:05:05
Derby isn't as daft as he makes out guys or is he ;-) lol.

Joking mate. :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 20:13:56
Dags as sexy as they look in sky blue I'm sure Derby prefers them in F all.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 20:18:05
Grow,
Derby has just fallen off his chair.
Stop the dirty talk, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 20:18:31
I think he gets a Bony over Bony :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 21:35:32
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong. But its a throw and its normally thrown back to the other team in play so play continues? Iv never seen it thrown or kicked into play. If villa were losing would he of thrown it like that? The answer is no guys.

Anyway there highlights of a game I played tonight. It's bits and bobs but it ended a draw. Even though looks like we got battered.

Search. Power league derby Facebook. And its second vid. Boca youth. See if u can spot me. Only captured one of my goal. Enjoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 22:11:48
Derby,
Many times I have seen a player playing the ball back to the opposition keeper, and he kicks the ball right into the corner flag.
He was just trying to stop Hart from quickly launching the ball up field.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Nov 2015 07:13:01
Did you watch dags ye? Worth it just for a laugh.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 09:06:55
also aston villa player had a head injury. so joe hart kicked it out. villa then took the throw and getstede launched it at joe hart and it came off hart and villa got a corner!

thoughts on that one? not nice to see in my eyes. id be angry if we did that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - If Hart thought there was any chance of him mis-controlling it then he should have let it run out for a goal kick.}

10 Nov 2015 09:18:37
I do agree, I thought getstede was throwing it hard for a city goal kick. If you look he was aiming to the left of hart and that muppet went to get it.

But the resulting corner should have been kicked out. But if your villa you can't give anything away I guess.

10 Nov 2015 09:30:17
One of my proudest moments as an Arsenal fan was when we offerd and gave Sheffield utd a rematch after we wrongly took advantage of Sheffields sportsmanship in the FA cup.
You can't always control one players actions but you can control how you deal with it.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 10:07:02
I always remember when a bloke bumped into me in the North Bank and I dropped my hot dog. He bought me another one.

Sportsmanship at its best.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Maybe if you knew what they contained you would not be so keen.}

10 Nov 2015 10:24:11
Have to admit Ed, it did taste better once I scraped it off the floor.
In fact, the contents of the floor was probably the most natural ingredient in the hot dog.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 10:50:32
eds city could of attacked while the players down. so the honest thing is give it back to hart in play so the game flows. but he knew what he was doing by throwing it that hard.

villa score from that corner and it all erupts. bad sportsman ship. a sub looking to become a fan favorite zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - So Hart should have let it run out.}

10 Nov 2015 11:20:27
no because its 0-0 when do kick backs or throws backs ever get kicked into play? its normally sent back nicely and play continues.

anyway watch it again. its a foul throw for one. another he starts to sprint towards joe hart. and check how he throws it. stupid play i feel from an average championship player.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 11:52:32
Derby that's how it usually goes but Eds right hart should have left it!

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 12:08:46
He's no KDB that's for sure Derby.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 12:56:13
hindsight is wonderfull but the throw was to hart. what does he do move out of the way. his manager would of gone mad. i'm sorry on this one its not his fault.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 13:49:33
Harts actions were puzzling, villa player was throwing it out for a goal kick. All brought on by hart, why didn't he let it go out.

Agree0 Disagree1

10 Nov 2015 16:21:39
I don't understand either, it one of those down to perception things. I thought he was trying to throw it out . Hart should have left it, but to be fair a man in a wheelchair would have controlled it better than hart.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 16:35:44
Basically Derby you'll do anything to steer the conversation around to be about City! Lol. ;-)

10 Nov 2015 17:42:08

thoughts on loic remy staying on his feet. fair play to him. refreshing to see.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Nov 2015 09:19:56
According to the Chelsea fans a more experienced striker would have stuck a leg out aka cheat. Fair play to him.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 09:44:54
Yeah hats off to him, great to see.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 10:07:41

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 10:53:25
dags remy needs to leave to get football. i see him at palace soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 11:13:55
i think they should of got a penalty (glad they didnt) but it would help prevent diving, if you don't get anything for being honest but get a penalty if you dive, why stay on your feet? similar to when skirtel reacted well after being kicked by costa. if he had made the most of it costa probs would of been red carded. but there needs to be rewards for acting well otherwise what's the point?

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 11:44:46
Totally agree Derby,
He was terrific on loan at Newcastle. Deserves to be a No.1 striker not a No.2.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 11:54:40
It's a good point . The rules do encourage it Eden but it one of those things that comes down to moral fibre.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 13:51:45
Awful refereeing, as I stated sunday, you understand why some people simulate going down easily, or dive, refs have to be better than that.

In the cold light of day, the result against Toot wasn't so bad. We had a team out injured and they only scored courtesy of a rare mistake by Koscielny, whilst we missed many chances. The Toot are vastly overrated, having only won 5 out of 12 PL matches and are the lowest top six scorers. Without Kane, they would have trouble scoring. Their defence had a major problem coping with the aerial challenges and we are not known for being strong in the air. Remember we are already 5 points ahead of them after only 12 matches. Hopefully, we will suffer no further injuries during the international break and should have Ramsey, Ox and Bellerin back, shortly followed by Walcott. In the new year Welbeck, Wilshere and Rosicky will provide fresh legs. A couple of signings and we will be in good shape for the run in.

10 Nov 2015 08:30:51
To be fair it wasn't a Terrible result just an awful performance imo.
Poch has spurs improving fast they've only lost once this season and for me its a good thing because a strong spurs puts pressure on us to stay ahead of them, I hope the top 5 going into Jan is
Arsenal
Spurs
City
Everton
Utd
With just 3 points separating us and spuds, i think even Arsene might want to invest in some quality outfield players if spuds were seriously threatening to pip us to our first title in over a decade.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not much chance of that G62, because...well they are spurs!.. :)

10 Nov 2015 08:42:06
Very true Ed but them improving can only be a good thing for us long term imo.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i suspect that would depend on whether or not that improvement meant that they finished above you G62..

10 Nov 2015 09:35:18
If they can they should, from where both clubs are right now with players resources etc if we allowed that to happen then that's down to us IMO.
The better spuds get and the more they push us to keep the shadow on the right side of the street the better for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2015 12:28:30
spurs might have had a thursday game, but who exactly did they play? a team burton albion would have destroyed on any given night. and they played at home.

Arsenal played Bayern munich, not exactly the result we wanted, well we got smashed, and we played away against a superior team.

the players were tired, and it showed, Sanchez had one trick and he was marshalled well.

but if we are talking 11v11 the best 11 that is, we would have walloped the spuds 3-1 atleast.
