Good result and a decent performance today.

Let's keep it tight on Thursday and we might be able to salvage this season.

hilarious Dag Spur. you do make me laugh. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Why's that mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 23:05:03
He's been like that all day Dags, I thinks it's to do with his Harry complex.
Anyway back to your post Dags, it's not difficult to see the potential for things turning sour very quickly Thursday, I'm not saying that's what will happen but it wouldn't be the shock of the season for anyone if it went pear-shaped Thursday.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 23:46:25
Agree G62,
With us, it's all about confidence, something we have lacked all season.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 08:12:56
Confidence is the word Dags mate, the players maybe short of it but the fans have even less in the players or manager.
Arsene says the team needs to win back the fans and of course he's right and the first thing they need to do is get the fans to feel confident that they will actually be giving their all in return for their support.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 15:45:54
Gunner, wenger is deflecting again, the reason they aren't there is because he still is. Every point the fans make against wenger, he deflects it. When there is a plane, there's only one, when there is banners, he can't read them, when they shout to him, he is deaf. If we have a game within 2 weeks of the last, the little lambs are tired and when its snowing, the arsenal fans couldn't get out of their caves to come but citeh could come from near the arctic circle. People are tired of him. They pay a lot of money and time following this team, its becoming a waste.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 21:53:23
Just wanted to say great result but Richaralison is a disgrace as a professional. Do these players not watch the games back have they no pride in themselves. The media need to start calling out players who dive.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

13 Mar 2018 01:13:42
If they start talking about diving they'll have to call out their beloved spurs.
Lovely dive from son this week, getting out of hand now.

Yeah they've invented s new dance after him. It's called the sideways shuffle.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 09:45:54
Elneny was decent. But he has a habit of playing players into trouble with little flicks they aren't expecting of him in dangerous areas. He has no discipline as a holding mid he spends more time on the wings leaving us vulnerable on a counter attack and is always looking for a hollywood pass when he should keep it simple. i'm not knocking his work rate but its not all about that. A squad player at best.

I thought the pitch was outstanding today. It was probably better than a carpet.

Steve, the revolt I have been waiting to start for 9 years has finally started. I feel a sense of relief.
I feel that the true arsenal fan can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 18:34:13
Malaga we are arsenal fans not arsene fans. That is not a crime and never will be. It needs to be kept up for change to happen. We all want the best and that doesn't include wenger. COYG.

Mark the empty seats again today says a lot but so does the Arsene out demonstration that after 3 weeks of planning was held last week and was attended by 0 people :-) .
Apparently the organisers waited about for a bit then went home :-) .

I think people are fed up but can't be bothered with all the marching and shouting they'd simply rather mow the lawn, fix a shelve or go to a pub who don't show football.

Who says Wenge doesn't have a fun side

"He had to wait a while to save a penalty and it's quite fortunate it was against Deeney. "

😭😭.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Mar 2018 15:08:39
Troy Deeney! That's the problem with going out on limb to pick fights that don't concern you.
Don't disagree with what he said about Arsenal in the past but do question his or any current players wisdom in going out on a linb to critise others.

Why does iwobi get so much game time when there are so many other better players than him coming through. Wenger needs his head sorting if iwobi is the answer.
Mhkytarian having a good game plenty of effort.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Mar 2018 14:34:52
No one seems to know the answer to this, it's probably the one question on Arsene that absolutely no one offers to find an excuse for, no City millions no bad luck with injuries no naughty stadium not one single poster seems to want to find a way of excusing Arsene on Iwobi selection.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 15:28:09
Its wengers stubborness that will let iwobi play on for ever no matter how bad he plays and give players like nelson or gnabry or ox before nelson no match time.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 15:36:20
Yup that's what Arsene does.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 18:25:06
I still don't know what iwobi does. Him and xhaka get away with murder and are not premier league or arsenal players quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 13:25:14
Hearing mertesacker interview where is he is saying he'd rather not play again because of the physical and mental burden for some reason really annoyed me. Just explains a lot when our captain comes out with something like that. Not really the mental attitude of a leader to me.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

11 Mar 2018 13:56:51
It's not good but at least it's honest and I'd rather not have him on the pitch pretending.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 14:32:48
But why on earth did we keep him for this season. It's very odd.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 14:59:56
Just like Artetta Rosicky before him he's good in the changing room apparently, which is handy just imagine where we'd be without their input and had to rely on players who we pay to be good on the pitch instead.
Makes you think doesn't it :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 10:14:04
With our current GK state of affairs, what keeper would you suggest we go for? Might be unrealistic but I think Ter Stegan would be an awesome addition, proved he has what it takes on the biggest stage and being young has loads of time left between the sticks. Thoughts? I guess the first thing is is it even possible lol.

we all make mistakes where were 8 62. that's part of growing up πŸ˜‰

and you all know who he really supported back then.

HE'S ONE OF OUR OWN.

has any of your defenders been able to sleep without the lights on yet.

11 Mar 2018 13:55:07
But he's not really Nes is he mate?
You never get over your first true love Nes, Harry has a past before you met, it hurts you to know this so you pretend it meant nothing to Harry but deep inside you know he still thinks of us.
When your singing his name it's us that Harry is really still thinking about and you know in your heart you will never be enough for him.

A couple of interesting articles have appeared.
1) That Allegri has started learning English and wants to manage in the PL. If true, the club must endeavour to employ him as manager. Alternatively, Simeone would be ideal.
2) That Liverpool are leading the race to sign Butland for Β£40m. We must do all we can to beat them to the signature.

On a separate note, perhaps it will be time for Usmanove to come on board with Kroenke and both billionaires put their hands in their deep pockets and stump up Β£250m each to allow the new manager to compete for top players that are so urgently needed. In the summer we stand to lose: Mertsacker, Wilshere, Ramsey, Welbeck, Bellerin and both keepers need replacing. That will leave us needing to sign as many as 8 or so players!

Perfect time for a completely fresh start, get as much money as possible for the departing players and let the new manager bring in his own players with a fresh way of thinking what it means to wear the Arsenal shirt.
We don't need to sign 11 Superstars just a lot of good hungry players with passion commitment hunger who will put in a shift in every game and a manager to organise motivate inspire them to be themselves and make Arsenal once again all we can be.
For me personally I just want to be excited by what Arsenal are trying to achieve again and feel the players are going to give their all in every game again.
I want to reinstate my sports channels and once again put Arsenal games on top of my to do list and I want to take my Grandson to the Emirates like I've been saying I will one day for a couple of years now.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2018 10:34:50
Rg those managers want big clubs.
Mertsacker and co no one would buy them not even with stolen money
Boys your a mid table club now
And I'm very serious.

Agree1 Disagree1

11 Mar 2018 11:13:03
Not yet we're not 12, top 3rd still all be it bottom of the top 3rd.
7th to 14th is midtable mate.
As we stand it's difficult to see that changing in a good way for us unless we change manager, if Spurs lose Harry or Poch they might open up 5th place to us but Liverpool Chelsea Utd City and Spurs if they keep what they have all look well beyond us next season already.
We have a couple of big games coming up in the next few weeks against Leicester away and Burnley at home in the battle for 6th 7th 8th places.
That's where we are at now days that's the reality of our current standing in the game, whether people like it or not or even chose to accept it or not this is where we are in the modern game.
13 points behind Spurs and 15 behind Liverpool while only 5 ahead of Leicester and 2 ahead of Burnley, there is no hiding from the fact we are balancing on the very edge of midtable obscurity but we ain't quite there yet.

12 your are very serious and so are we when we call samourinho the new bolton manager. We hopefully will change our one dimentional manager. You i hope keep yours for the next ten years. he's not up to peps standard and he will spend silly money on silly players that are not good enough. Its a pity for you because since fergie left, pep, klopp and poch would have been the perfect fit for you.

11 Mar 2018 18:31:11
And 12 only last season you were mid table or have you quickly forgot your awful 2017 performance. let's hope we can go from mid table obscurity like you have managed this season. Short memory.
