Can anyone yell me why we just can't say to sanchez, agent or city, right we want 35mil for sanchez to go to citeh today not tomorrow or you all wait while june. I don't care how you sort it but decide. If we want 35 then that's it. The same should also be said to ozil. Then maybe we can all get on with what we are all here to do.

12 Jan 2018 22:44:22
He will spend the whole of january on his knees begging sanchez and ozil to stay whilst shipping out all the players that want to stay. He will only spend big if they leave but he doesn't want them to leave your the manager either tell them to sign or get out and get in replacements.
Buy players that will make them want to stay rather than letting them dictate the play. He is in cloud cuckoo land.

12 Jan 2018 22:49:34
well steve then I think he walks in the summer. city know he's coming sooner or later. upto us if we accept less but I don't see 35million. maybe a deal at 25million.

either way i'd take the cash now.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 23:09:58
Doesn't really make any sense for city to take him now. We don't know if there's any agreement with Sanchez (although I bet there is) and he will go in the summer. The only real reason city could want him now is to rest some if there better players before CL games. I'm sure a move in the summer would be financially beneficial for Sanchez as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - So the situation with MC is that they will wait for the summer because (a) they don’t really have space in the squad, and (b) money will be easier in the summer giving the player a better sign on fee, and the club having wages available to pay him. The have the edge as they can dominate for perhaps two or three years after this season. Manchester United want rid of HM and this may be an option - but they too have a wage issue due to the truly, truly ludicrous deal with ZI. Chelsea won’t bite because of the wages and that should take Liverpool and PSG out of the deal in January at least.}

12 Jan 2018 23:17:09
Apparently, City are offering £20m.

Take the money and run.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 23:27:12
Thanks ed 02 that explains why HM came into the equation, they would need him off the books. My view is that sanchez wants only citeh and in the end everyone will wait while june. My problem is the utter garbage that's being reported on a daily basis and most of it, like ypu say is not possible due to wage constraints.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I agree Steve. He wants to be challenging to win PL and Champions League and over the next few years they can offer him that chance better than others.}

13 Jan 2018 08:58:16
Might get hammered for this but we don’t need 30,000,000 do we? I’d rather keep him as he offers us a chance to get into the CL, the revenue from that exceeds the 30Mill.

13 Jan 2018 09:26:50
If I was Sanchez, I would want to go now, just walk in to a league winners medal without lifting a finger.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 13:07:57
It's not in Sanchez hands tho Eden . Or at least for the next 6 months it's not.

Just seen your reply ed. cheers.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

13 Jan 2018 13:38:46
Banbury i now look at it slightly differently. We are not getting CL with or without sanchez, so if we got 30 mil from citeh now at least we will be 30mil better off. But i don't trust wenger to buy the correct players and without sanchez, i don't get too exited watching our players toiling to cope with mediocrity. i'm really split, i want to watch a truly world class player playing for us but in june the money would have come in nicely. Us without sanchez makes us so predictable in a dreary way.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 20:47:05
Well wenger and the club are certainly making the headlines every day. The problem is they are all the wrong type. i'm getting bored with them.

Wenger judgement is seriously impaired in regards to defenders. Mert, Gabriel, Debuchy
Monreal, Chambers, Squillacci, Santos have all been signed and none of them have brought us nearer to premiership wining team let alone Europe, 25 mill on Mustafi and if it hadn't been for the injury to Chambers he would have been moved on after one season. Koz was world class but injuries and his age are catching up on him. Apart from his display in the Cup Final Holding as a long way to go. If you go back further you got Stepanovs, Cygan and Senderos all not good enough. The best defender buys were made in the early days
like Sol, Kolo, Lauren, Luzhny and Lehman. The sadness of it all is that players like Giberto, Pires where sold far far too early. The situation regarding Sanchez is a complete farce, For the last few years we have been held up as a shining example of how to run a football club as a business module, so who made the decision to let Sanchez run down his contract and lose 65 mill and over 100% profit was it Wenger, Gazidis, Kroenke. He should have been told last summer sign or your sold irrespective if we get a replacement or not. and the same message should have been sent to Ozil. I said in my post/ rant a few days back that this is Arsenes fault and he should be made accountable. Coquelin has gone and quite frankly should have been moved on a lot sooner as should. have been Walcottl. I have just been hearing that Mourinho is interested in buying Sanchez and to be honest i don't care as long has he goes this month. Whatever the rest of this season brings and i cannot see it bringing anything this should be Arsene Wengers last season, no more Arsene enough is enough

But there are still people who can't see the damage he is doing. Maybe the odd one never will, whatever state he gets us in.

12 Jan 2018 21:11:23
You will never convince everyone. Some people see it early others take a while then there's always a few who will see black as white. Life I'm afraid.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 21:21:15
Sano, i accept that is the case but they would all be thinking different if this was another club that the level of incompetencey was happening at.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 22:05:50
In the same respect they might not care less mate. It is what it is. I'm hoping that it gets the plug pulled on this daft going on by summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 22:51:20
remember the days when he was proud of his one year deals for over 30s. always baffled me. meanwhile we had diaby stealing wages. strange.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 05:45:23
Do you even remember Luzhny? Lehmann a defender?

Honestly, you all blow so much smoke up eachother’s arses it’s a surprise you’re not all chimneys.

This wasn’t a good post, most of it didn’t even make sense due to the illiterate ramblings of the poster. That you want to get rid of Sanchez to United just capped off the lunacy. Bizarre rant that for some reason people supported.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 05:46:14
And Derbygooner, Diaby stealing wages? Crazy thing to say.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 10:58:28
Monreal was a good buy.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 20:14:20
Nick why wouldn't I say that. he never played and earned great money. left to france and never played there.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 02:05:48
You make it sound like he wanted to sit around not playing at all. I imagine having a short career anyway and not being able to play most of it because of a reckless, unpunished challenge by a meathead like Dan Smith is what all professional footballers aspire to, just so they can steal a living.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 09:11:10
never said it was his fault or he wanted it. he was employeed to play football and he rarely did. we released him 6 years too late. great player but no good to us in physio room.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 19:47:58
So rumour has it city aren't willing to go above 20m. What do people think we should do then. Just settle for 20 or stand our ground.

We should of taken the 60 million in the summer

Another Wenger f### up.

Agree. But the summer is over which is why I asked about now.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 20:36:56
D i'm sure the club will do the right thing. Their judgement is always spot on.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 22:29:38
Lol you two make me laugh. Yeah you're right he should've gone in the summer. And Steve your sarcasm is warranted as yeah they've messed up a lot lately. But do you have to ruin a simple question I asked my using it to have digs about arsene and how the club is ran. Feel free but instead of the repetitive replies maybe have an input to the question. 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 22:52:06
take the money and move on. meanwhile ozil is sitting there thinking yep spot lights off me.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 09:39:37
Depends how much of a disruptive influence he is, it seems like few people get on with him, so it may be better to get him out if that's going to effect our performances, but if there's any chance keeping him gets us in to the top 4 then that's worth more than the 20 mil, it's a shame Chile didn't get into the world cup as he might be putting in a bit more effort to keep up his form.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 19:31:17
Anyone watched much of that Malcom kid? The rave reviews he is getting is interesting considering previous talent rising from that league is usually met with a little caution!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Jan 2018 13:30:59
With only 2 signings last summer and one young player signed this window, it is quite odd that we have sold Coquelin and Walcott looks like he is on his way out, without bringing in any first team signings to date.
In addition it is highly unlikely that Ozil and Sanchez will stay beyond the end of the season. Cazorla looks unlikely to play for us again, Mertseacker is retiring and Debuchy is surplus to requirements. Our first team squad is looking quite threadbare, so hopefully we will make 3 or 4 signings, not that it looks likely.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

12 Jan 2018 16:33:44
What an utter and absolute shambles the club is in. Its nearly like they are running it down. Our two best players are holding all the aces and the club is waiting to see what they do before they act. The decision making is amateurish.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 19:20:54
Wenger has run the club into the ground

RIP Arsenal Football Club.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 19:29:31
And the projection out to the rest of the footballing world is that we're desperate and will surely give an edge to selling clubs in negotiations to buy their players.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 19:35:41
Totally agree the clubs transfer dealings are pure amateur. 2 players holding the club to ransom. Either stay and sign or F""'ff. The board and wenger keep the club in limbo knowing they can get something in january or let them go for free in tbe summer. He is bending over backwards for 2 players that don't want to be part of 'wengers' arsenal whilst letting loyal players rot on the bench. No wonder they are looking for new clubs. It must be demoralising for a loyal player on the bench watching 2 players putting themselves in the shop window. Wengers decision making is the source of frustation for many a fan.
He needs to make a statement of intent this week by buying readymade replacements and strengthing the team instead of playing cat and mouse with the fans. Give us some hope man!

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 19:49:57
Arsenator, screw wenger and showing some intent

How about showing us fans some respect.

12 Jan 2018 20:38:02
Malaga where is your mate with his planes. I miss them. Lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 20:57:59
Malaga gooner if you read my post i have no faith in wenger. him showing respect to the fans has long gone. His aloofness is irritating. The fans are the last thing on his mind its all about the money.
Showing intent will be a small start in getting some support till he decides to leave. Neither you or i can change that.

12 Jan 2018 22:24:13

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 05:50:47
Arsenalator that is one of the worst posts I’ve ever seen. I presume it was you a few weeks ago that said we should be playing Walcott over Sanchez because of his loyalty.
Your logic is embarrassing. There’s a reason the loyal players are on the bench, it’s because nobody really wants them. They aren’t good enough for The Arsenal and they aren’t better than Sanchez and Ozil. Whilst we’ve got Sanchez and Ozil we have to play them, they change games. You can’t say drop Sanchez and play Walcott because Walcott is loyal. He’s loyal because we pay him a shed load of money to sit on his ass.
Sanchez may want out but at least he wins us a lot of points with his contributions.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 09:52:47
Nick t2 i am not saying just because walcott is loyal pick him. The guy if played regularly has a goal in him. He scored 20 last season from the wing. No player has the right to start its on merit. Would your detailed logic build a team around players who want to be here with new signings or build a team around players who won't be here next season. We are drifting away from the top 4 out of the fa cup an outside chance of winning the europa and our most likely is the league cup. The premiership is our main goal and yes nick t2 ozil and sanchez have played and we like i said are drifting away from the top 4. I agree ozil can change a game but sanchez has been pants he doesn't want to be here. Players you say nobody else wants that sit on the bench got us a respectful draw against chelsea. What did sanchez do when he came on. Nothing
So nick t2 i respect your opinion but don't knock someone elses opinion with embarassing or worst posts comments when there is nothing in your own post. These loyal players are the backbone of our team. Sanchez or ozil cannot hold this club to ransom. Wenger needs to act fast.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 11:17:55
Sanchez is our top scorer this season. You know that, right?

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 06:48:59
Interesting that Wenger has sold Arsenal's sole defensive midfield player, following on from selling defender Gabriel last summer. Does Wenger want a team without defenders and defensive midfield players? To think that during his most successful times at the club we had defenders such as Adams, Keown, Campbell and DM's such as Vieira, Gilberto and Petit. Our priority this window is clearly a tall, athletic CB and DM. So far we have signed a young CB for the future, if he makes it.

12 Jan 2018 09:14:12
the strangest one was when he sold lasana diarra. that's when I started to suspect his judgement.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 09:39:42
Diarra wasn't really good enough tho was he. What did he do after. Doesn't pop into my head as anything amazing or am I wrong? And Gabriel and coq he was right to sell as they aren't good enough. Just be nice to replace them with people that are.

Agree1 Disagree2

12 Jan 2018 13:07:05
@Debygooner - Wenger doesn't appear to like players that question his methods or confront him. I can presume Diarra was one of these.
Wenger shifted Gabriel out suddenly and there have been others in the past.

12 Jan 2018 15:26:36
RG61- you might get your CB in smalling if the sanchez rumours are correct! don't know if yous would be happy with him because we aren't overjoyed.

I appreciate you guys aren’t all wenger fans but flip the coin, he is the manager and so many fans Noah about player power. Wenger o respect massively but think the game changes and he’s gone from the forefront to it passing him by. I’d say mourinho is following suit to be honest. Sanchez Flores is free ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2018 18:33:10
Werner is making it impossible for any new manager so when he's gone it will be great for his ego.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Either would be a refreshing change, Appointments at the club are clearly designed for the day Wenger departs, which I feel may come at the end of the season.
Simeone has age on his side, whilst Ancelloti has PL experience.

12 Jan 2018 18:28:24
I’d don’t think simone would join unless her got some big promises from the board which I think is wht he deserves and you guys as fans. The team has some decent players who turn up on their day but with potentially your two best players leaving you have a good Cf but bar that you need a winger, a goalie, some Cb’s to and a midfielder to out you back to the top in my opinion.
