Am I the only one who thinks sterling will prove a good buy? He's better value than David luiz. Offers city pace. Skill and they have a man that can beat a player on the inside of out. Always seems England's best player when they play. We got Sanchez cheap that's for sure and hazard was a good price too and depay.

Ffp is relaxed now and to city that is like me paying my TV license fee. Nothing .

Big signing for them I think

Theo is better than Sterling. Sterling is closer to Shaun Wright Phillips than he is to theo. He has talent but so did Ravel Morrison

Stats also have ospina as the beat goalie In the prem. One is 26 one is 20. Sterling you know is a winger. Walcott doesn't really have a set position. He will get a run uptop I guess but the guy he's aiming to be is lacazette. But I'd get lacazette if poss. You also need to look at Walcott and sterlings injury records.

Stat's don't have Ospina as the best goalie in the prem at all. They have him as the best win ratio or best clean sheets or something. Baring in mind that he only played the last part of the season, the stat is reflective of the defense and stability as a whole team during that period. We'll have to see how Sterling gets on, maybe he'll have a new confidence at city and start playing like we know he can.

An eye for goal is what separates the good from the great (Ronaldo, Messi, Henry etc), Sterling v Walcott is very good v great (when healthy), Walcott any day for me.

Also, high time for our man Jack potting a few, could be the difference between a good season and a championship run.

It's interesting that talks of Monreal departing persist. It makes sense, as although he had a decent second half of last season, he could be replaced with a pacier, more effective left-back. We would keep Gibbs, as he is both younger and homegrown. We are rumoured to be looking at a CB as well. We only have 3 CB's, so a 4th makes sense, unless Chambers can fill the spot. Although, I have a suspicion that Wenger wcould possibly sign a 4th CB and allow Chambers to go on loan to gain much needed playing experience at CB. In the future, we may let Debuchy leave as he turns 30 this month and bring back Jenkinson.
I an not sure that we will sign a DM, although I would like us to. We have Coquelin, Arteta (contract just extended) and Flamini (who I would sell or release). Wenger also plays Ramsey, Cazorla & Wilshere in this position. The other outside possibility is a pacey striker, as an alternative to Giroud.
We must sort out the following transfers/loans out: Ospina (we can't keep 4 keepers happy & he is older and not homegrown). Jenkinson, Chambers (if a CB is signed), Hayden (needs to play), Flamini, Sanogo, Wellington, Gnabry (needs to play, I would keep him at the club & play him) & Campbell.
Any other transfers in, would depend on departures. If Walcott doesn't extend his contract, then we must cash in and sell him. Will Cazorla depart or Ozil? If so then replacements may be sought. I believe Wenger, knowing he has a full & strong squad, will consider his options, during the pre-season friendlies and see how many players depart.
All in all, I am very excited at the season ahead. We must get off to s good start and without the hinderence of CL qualifiers and fairly decent opening fixtures, all looks well. The slight blot on the horizon is the likelyhood of being withot Sanchez & Welbeck for the opening fixtures.

If we let Monreal go before signing another LB I will literally cry as it will make a title bid impossible.
Gibbs as cover is OK but as our number one over a season we've had it before the season kicks off.
No way can Belerin Kos and Le Coq be constantly trying to cover both Gibbs and Mertesacker when they get caught out.
Gibbs has no real sense of position or aptitude for the defensive side of the game and once the ball is behind Mertesacker that's him out of the game as he doesn't have the legs or the instinct to recover or do anything but ball watch from there on in.
