Just hope we do all we can to see the season through to the end this time Dags, a quiet January followed by another fading away and out of the race by April would be hard to take.
Let's do everything possible this time to make Arsenal premier league champions once again.

Agree mate,
Topsy turvy season for everybody I think.
It's a weird season but I think we should all be happy to date.

Dags, I know we all enjoy this page but dating on it? Really? But if so, Ok, do you like the cinema or a dirty bar?

Ed001 are we going to do an across the pages Charity donations again this Christmas mate?
If so just as a suggestion but the Cumbrian flood appeal might be a good cause.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I was just thinking about that last night mate, good idea to go with them. Unless someone has any better suggestions?}

13 Dec 2015 19:21:29
Cheers mate I'm happy to go with whatever people want but it would be nice to do something collectively to show our appreciation for all Eds do for free through out the year, in view of which it might be a good idea if you and the many Eds have the final say on which charity we support.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I will ask the Eds if there is any particular one close to their heart they would like to go with.}

13 Dec 2015 19:32:35
Good stuff thanks Ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - glad you reminded me, cheers.}

13 Dec 2015 19:48:05
Donated to Alder Hey a few years ago from this site.

Fantastic charity and such a great cause.

I vote for Alder Hey but let's hear a few others, Cumbria one is good G62.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Ed025 has nominated one close to his heart - Help The Aged. Ed003 suggested Alder Hey. Ed007 suggests McMillan Nurses. Once we have a few suggestions we will put them to a vote I think.}

13 Dec 2015 20:07:45
Sounds good 001,
(Poor 025, always takes a bit of stick, bless him)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he honestly did suggest Help The Aged!}

13 Dec 2015 20:34:26
Thats the only problem with Ed025 its all about him :-)
Love him to bits really.

{Ed025's Note - thanks G62..your back in my will now mate.. :)

Has cech got the record yet? What a guy. Amazing goalkeeper.

Equalled the record - hopefully sets a new one against City on Monday!
We are so close - we need a few additions of the highest quality in Jan to push on in the league and cups

Well played boys and well done Wenger!

Great away support today - again

As SY4 said, he equalled it.

Great achievement.

Id keep Ramsey in the middle even if cazorla returns. That run from Ramsey for his goal I don't think cazorla makes. Thoughts? He's been great since back in his best position.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Dec 2015 22:07:20
I did say last week the positive to the injuries was getting Rambo back in the middle where hopefully he'd get back to his best which he is pretty quickly doing. When you think he's probably not 100% fit yet either.

Caz is going to have a fight to get back in which can only be good just a shame he's out until March.

Just got in from Villa Park

All very easy if truth be known and that's how these fixtures should finish.

The pace and break of the 2nd goal was amazing in real time, will sit and relax and watch it on tv later.

The control from Giroud in the second half tight on the touchline was sublime.

Ozil continues his very impressive form.

According to Arsenal it is unlikely Sanchez is back for City at home.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

13 Dec 2015 17:16:03
Glad you had a good day mate, two reasons Sanchez shouldn't play against city IMO, 1 the obvious back to soon out again before we know it but for even longer this time, 2 the team needs to do well without him against our biggest rival contenders so the team grows in confidence in its ability and Arsene gets the confidence to rest him when its right to do so not only when it's covienent or enforced.
Sanchez as fantastic icing on the cake rather than the cake its self is good for Arsenal and Sanchez alike.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Dec 2015 17:35:56
Oh I agree, rest him, and get him back fully charged .

Yes a very good afternoon, seems better being an Arsenal fan away from home. nobody likes you lol.

Nice long free week ahead before playing city then going into the heavy duty Christmas fixtures, we have to think long term and not rush Sanchez until he's 100% fit.

I honestly believe if we beat city we will win the league. i know its an early and big shout. i know there a lot of football to play and a lot of twists and turns. but I have a feeling. that we will be champions.

I think the January window will have a big say in our final position Sligo just as it did in 2014 when we went from 1st to 5th before snatching 4th place from Everton.
I hope Arsene does the belt and braces thing this time and he's totay committed above all else to making us champions again.

We are two up already. Could only get better! yaaaay! sure i'm going to have a long night sleep if we come through with a win. Awaiting leicester's result.

13 Dec 2015 12:46:18
A win against villa is a must and would certainly keep me blowing bubbles as we'll be on top of the league. With almost half the season gone, we need to put in a winning shift henceforth if we want to win the championship. It's okay if we draw against big teams as the season rolls on. But we cannot afford to drop points when we face weak sides. I think the cameraderie in the team right now is amazingly high. Oh and if we could capitalize on it, we'll be winning the league in the end. I strongly believe every single player is competent and capable enough to contribute something to the team. Thanks to Ozil who's impeccable at what he does right now. Hope to see more from him today too. The other players are fantastic too. Oh and not forgetting the manager who does his things in a grotesque way.

So papers say Everton looking at deal for Callum Chambers, how about John Stones coming to the Arsenal in exchange and we also pay Everton £15 to £20m. I see that as a good deal for all parties, agreed?

13 Dec 2015 10:56:01
Taking chambers away from saints at at that time set him back abit. Should of sent him back onloan to replace clyne eventually.

Massive stones fan and given his age 50mill is fair. Hel give us 10years at least. I know some say he makes mistakes. If he has a carear like sol Campbell then great. Loved sol.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Dec 2015 13:00:19
Stones is worth £30 million plus chambers or a straight £40 million of anyone's money but I think that's to strong for Arsene tastes, hope not but I think it will prove to be.
We could try 50 mil but insist they take Mertersaacker Arteta Flamini and Rosicky as part of the deal I guess.

I wonder if Chelsea would be interested in loaning us Matic in January to cover Le Coq, it would be in their interest as much as ours.
He couldn't play against them as his parent club but could help us take points off Bournemouth, WBA, Norwich, Sunderland, Villa, Newcastle doing them a massive favour which come May could just be enough to keep them up.
They used to do similar in reverse back in the day when they were used to be top club.

Tomorrow nights game will be interesting, I see the special one is now saying nice things about Ranieri having slated him mercilessly previously.

Would another defeat really put them in relegation trouble, it would be a beautiful thing but the have to have way to much talent for that. Don't they?

13 Dec 2015 10:58:57
I agree red dog José is afraid. Football is funny the guy who replaces at Chelsea could end his stay at Chelsea. Interesting game if you offer me a free bet I'd probs back a draw

Ouch splinters.

Now let hope its third time lucky as we have a chance to top the league. no slip ups or excuses. confidence is high after the champs league great escape. let's hit the ground running.3-0 again. giroud, Walcott and Ramsey. cech gets his clean sheet I hope. with Utd playing Thursday night football and losing today confidence be low for a while. city poxy as hell lately. this is our title. now it's time to take it, come on arsenal.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

13 Dec 2015 01:25:17
My thoughts exactly sli it would say so much if they didnt, but i'm hopeful they will against the villains. We have to start stepping on the gas in these games and start putting some points on the board. gutted i won't see them but ill keep track.

We've had one or two nightmare's this first half season but there's also been a couple of amazing highs.
The total blowing away of Manchester united in 20 devastating minutes is my by best memory although beating Bayern at home is close second considering it was a game Bayern wanted to win as much as us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

13 Dec 2015 00:19:32
Bayern performance for me 62, we might have been the home team but if ever there was a template on how to play away against one of the games giants that was it! The actual away performance. less said the better mate!
