Liverpool and Manchester city both showing in Europe why they are where they are in the premier league and United and Spurs doing excellent too.
All 4 premier league teams in the last 8 is this an English revival as a champions league force?

It’s great for the PL that we have 4 teams in the last 8, no doubt UEFA will come up with some sort of ban, once Brexit is decided :)

In our quest for a top 4 spot, I am sure that having to play at least 2 more CL matches will hinder Man U and the Toot.

It's strange it used to always be seen as it was the Europa league and playing on Thursday that hindered your premier league campaign but now suddenly it's the champions league where the problem is!
What's changed?
Other than us of corse and which competition we are currently in?

Playing additional European mid-week games clearly doesn't help performances in the domestic league and of course in general playing in the CL against superior teams is clearly more difficult.

Of course the champions league has more quality teams whicb is why it's the most prestigious club trophy in football but we will need to field our strongest 11 tonight if we hope to just stay in the Europa league no matter how inferior it is, 90 minutes in the europa equals 90 minutes in the champions league in terms of potential injury etc.
Tuesday Saturday/ Sunday and even Wednesday Saturday/ Sunday in the champions league is far better than 100% Thursday 100% Sunday in the Europa.
But at the end of the day there is very little difference champions league and Europa league participation that will make a significant difference to the top 4 teams other than us getting illuminated tonight whicb would give us at least 2 less games than Chelsea United and Spurs to play.
In my opinion if we deserve top 4 after 38 games we'll get it and if we don't then we won't and the same goes for all 3 other teams too.

It is as difficult for us as mush as for out rivals. It can be even affects us more as we seem not to make it easy for us. that's right they play better teams but we seem to struggle against the so called lesser teams.
If there something can helps us in the run in is the fact our rivals they still have to play each other but we need to take full advantage of that and not drop silly points.

Over 38 league games the most deserving 2 teams of the 4 will finish 3rd and 4th no what excuses the two clubs and fans that miss out offer.
It's reality.
