Well Lads That was a horrible performance and how we have come away with a point is anyone's guess. Poor team selection from Wenger as Alexis is certainly not a striker and struggled to influence the game from that position. Once Giroud came on we were a different side, Sanchez cutting in from the left central in our semi resurgence. in all Fairness PSG should have hit us for 3 or 4 if they were more clinical.

But We came away with a point and that's all that matters. We are not even close to our best, but we've managed to come away with positive results and that's got to be a good thing. We've got to push on and be tighter at the back, we won't be as lucky next time . But overall a good night but not essentially a good performance.

And what was Olly doing, that has to be daftest sending off I've seen in a long time. COYG.

Well boys a terrible performance from you lot, I know you got a point but I reality if psg had Kane it would have been at least 4 goals. i think it will be the same as usual for you, get out of the group and then it's over again. I.

raver . kane has veen poor for ages, scored an easy goal at weeekend right after an air shot. defenders have worked him out i'm afraid.

Worked Kane out lol, he's the golden boot boy and is the second quickest player to hit 50 goals in the league. You would love to have him at your club to replace the dross strikers you have.

Not a great performance but 1-1 away from home against probably the group favourites will do.

Wengers decision making is strange, when will he realise sanchez can't play up top on his own, completely different player when he's put out on the wing.

Pete it could also be down to the way we set up and play. Sanchez for me could play any position in attack but when he plays middle he needs someone like him on the wings who breaks their neck to support.

No he hasn't. Game is played over ninety minutes and arsenal usually score in second half.
In my opinion Cavani is a donkey and would not cut it in premier league.
Good result happy with that.

I am not a fan of Giroud. Today he yet again justified my feeling. He is pedestrian. And the red card, that was just silly.

It was a strange line up. Was convinced he was resting Xhaka for this game so begs the question why he was not played considering coq only played 3 days prior. Not complaining, happy with draw, we could have taken the three points as well.

Fans calling for us to buy Cavani?

Phyxious from what I saw tonight I would have cavani like a shot, the guy is a beast and ran us absolutely ragged. Its a good job for us he was rusty in his finishing.

If we had started with giroud and xhaka we would have won it easily their defence was penetrated easily as soon as the subs came on and the chances started coming and sanchez and the rest seemed to wake up. three points would have been better than one. wengers choice was strange. needs to be more positive. psg would have had a lift as soon as they saw the teamsheet.

Steve, Giroud has games like that but is blasted for missing chances. I suppose the point is, do we give him enough credit when he gets into positions to score. That is the argument about Cavani right? Just think we have an approach that the grass is greener on the other side. I think Giroud and Cavani are comparable and would value at a similar level. The way we play is driven by a focal point up front (which baffles me why Giroud didn't start - relying on counter attack I suppose)

Phyxious when has giroud ever had a game like that, he can't play like that he's too immobile and slow. Missing chances is not girouds only problem, look at todays top strikers, they aren't just big lumps who stand there flicking balls on they actually take defenders on, messi, aubamayang, aguero, costa, ibra, suarez, levandoski, they all have skill and pace to frighten people and cavani certainly frightened us. Cavani could have had five or six on another night, that can never be said about giroud.

Welsh he's not daft, he knows what he's doing and saying, 100% if he'd left arsenal, he wouldn't be in work now. He knows a good thing and he's not giving that up.
