Everything comes to an end jelfy. This happens to every club 👍🏻.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 22:48:34
Agree jelfy. I still feel some things I read from our fans are a bit extreme. But my faith has gone. I honestly believe he is an excellent coach and one of the finest to sit in our dugout. But football has changed and he has not moved with the times. Same reason I worry bout anchelloti. We need someone young with fresh modern ideas.

Hi mate,
Have you seen the links with Aubeyiyang this evening. What do you make of them? Quite happy with the spelling attempt if i may so myself.

Bit of a troublemaker and has disciplinary problems.

He has "Arsenal" written all over him.

Fantastic scoring record.

4-4-2 upfront with Laca?
Yes please.

Aubamayang, draxler and malcom, i might get over sanchez.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 23:27:02
But the interest is in Thomas Lemar and Fekir?

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 19:50:28
Would you take this:

OUT:

Alexis (Man Utd)
Walcott (Everton)
Debuchy (St Etienne)
Coquelin (Valencia)

IN:

Mkhitaryan (Man Utd)
Malcom (Bordeaux)
Evans (West Brom)

That should save us from relegation.

14 Jan 2018 20:24:25
No not good enough.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 20:28:20
Nope I want more than that we should be signing someone else bcos Mkhitaryan would be a swap
Malcom for Sanchez
Draxler for Walcott
Johnny Evans if that’s all we can get I want better
And Mkhitaryan will have to do but I’d prefer martial.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 21:08:09
Would prefer epl experienced players

Mahrez
Dacoure
Torwski.

Let's give Wenger some credit.

He sells The Ox to Liverpool so he can score against City so they don't match The Invincibles record.

Man's a footballing genius.

Liverpool fan in peace, firstly over the moon with our win and still don’t think any one else will go unbeaten.

Taking a look at Arsenal’s plight at the minute and this, for me, sits with wenger. I heard on talksport they called him a good business man but a good business man doesn’t let his prize asset walk away for pittance (in the football world) . He was the manager that revolutionised the game when he first came to England but now others have passed him and he isn’t keeping up.

I think that’s his ego, I feel he genuinely believed Sanchez and Ozil wouldn’t leave. But even with them your squad needs a huge overhaul and with the market going the way it is, Arsenal need to act fast. They are in danger of having a average squad and needing to spend hundreds of millions to compete and I’m not sure you can.

Arsenal have sold some big stars but you got the market rate (at the time) and could reinvest it into someone of equal ability. But if you keep as you are your going to struggle if you sell Walcott (say 20m) and then need a lemar (90m will be more in the summer) .

Basically what I’m saying is this year is crucial for the gunners you need to invest and the feel round the club needs to improve, and it needs to start with wenger saying he will leave at the end of the season. If he does that it may just galvanise all the fans on both sides of the debate and the players, if not the rot may set in and it will be a long way back.

Either way I hope it gets sorted as it’s better with arsenal competing at the right end of the table and wish you guys all the best for the rest of the season.

Thank you WYred,
Seeing as we sold you Ox, can we have Salah as a thank you?

No? Ok 😁.

14 Jan 2018 19:48:05
Mignolet for Sanchez and you have yourself a deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed0333's Note - Migs for the tea lady at the emirates and you have yourself a deal

14 Jan 2018 19:55:37
Not saying Migs is bad, but rumour has it he dropped the pen when signing his first Liverpool contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 19:57:08
Let’s not be silly 333, everyone knows she’s got a safe pair of hands and makes a cracking brew, I’ve heard migs’ brews are like dish water.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed0333's Note - I bet Migs tea making skills are infinitely better than his goalkeeping ones mate.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - For Arsenal’s sake I would hope not but Arsenal were one of the sides he has been offered to. I think there are more sensible options out there Steve.}

Aubamayangadingdong, malcom, jonny evans, angel di maria all on their way to arsenal now. No mention of simeone or divine intervention. I don't really care if messi came, wenger would turn him into iwobi.

Steve,
Look at us, than look at Liverpool.

Makes you want to cry.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 18:03:21
Yeah Dags Liverpool attack with real purpose with relentless energy pace, power and technique, we just pass around for the sake of it and rely on the odd succesful 1-2 out of about 20 failed to get through packed defences or a silly mistake/ slip to get our goals. Looking at the two games today make us looks light years behind Liverpool let alone City.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 18:10:42
Exactly that Ryan.

We don't aim for the perfect goal, but the perfect miss.

How much further do the "be-careful-what-you-wish-for" pro Wenger brigade want the club to fall before you wake up, recognise that Wenger is ten years past his sell-by date, that under his mis-management we have become also-rans, fallen lower in stock than our North London rivals, and are fast becoming the new Liverpool in terms of living on our history.

I am sick of Wenger, just sick of him, sick of his crass loyalty to under-achievers, (Iwobi, Walcott, Xhaka to name but three) , his ancient and fabled myopia, his unwillingness to change and stubborn arrogance that he, and only he, can make this club great again.

I am, in case you were wondering, in the Wenger Out fraternity as was dear old Max Farnham, and many other on here.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 17:16:10
Up until this season I have been 100% behind AW but the handling of Sanchez and Ozil, the lack of any fight in the team and the pure arrogance he shows towards us fans has made me realise his time has come and gone. can't see anything changing whilst he stays in charge.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 17:17:34
Yes agree, we just get acused of being boring, i suppose we are but we are 100% right and they are 100% wrong. Just my opinion.

14 Jan 2018 17:23:10
If wenger was at any other big club, he would of been sacked 10 years ago.

14 Jan 2018 17:45:56
sparky where have you been under a rock lol. clubs been decaying for years and we need more than a root canal.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 17:48:34
It's interesting that mourinho and conte's jobs seem more under threat and it still appears wengers choice whether he stays next year or. Top 4 looks over before February after today's results! 8 points off 4th. Closer to bottom than top! 23 points off city, 22 points off Swansea!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Both Mourinho and Conte have the same choice as Wenger.}

14 Jan 2018 18:18:05
2 years left i assume ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - No, about whether they stay next year.}

Wannabe raver 😂😂😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 16:30:15
Wow - we have been down so badly that this chat space can't even get too disappointed.

It probably sounds simple but for me, really good teams need a balance of flair players for hire (Sanchez, Ozil etc) and core players with undying loyalty to the badge (Adams, Keown etc) and those in between. It seems for some time that Le Boss has tipped too far to the players for hire with no core and it really shows. It will take a lot of money and a bit of time to get this right but Wenger has surely lost the plot.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 16:29:26
Is there any idea who the successor to Wenger will be eds? And who would everyone want?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - This was dealt with earlier in the week.}

14 Jan 2018 15:32:52
😂😂😂😂 - Need I say more? It gets to a point where you just want to laugh. and who in their right mind would want to join. United hit the deck and spent money which looks to be paying off. Long road ahead of AFC.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 15:44:01
It is laughable really it is, I used to get upset but when you get rubbish after expecting it the hurt isn’t really there.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 16:12:42
It's sad to say but is not even a shock anymore these kind of results, You expect us to have a period in the game when it just falls apart. Like Banbury says it gone past hurting now it's just apathy now really with Arsenal. Defensivly we are a mess and until that gets sorted out first we will never move forward and any hope to catch the rest. You have to be hard to score against before anything else. One bright spark is Wilshere at the moment you are just preying that he can stay fit. At this rate who would want to join Arsenal under a manager that has just lost the plot.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 15:31:06
Well i think we have enough points to avoid relegation but our Europa spot looks dead in the water. Is wenger the right manager to keep us from relegation next season?

Believable5 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - absolutely not steve..

14 Jan 2018 16:18:44
Wenger has to go, Arsenal at the moment are on the brink of collapse into permanent mid-table mediocrity without big changes and a fresh start. We need a young fresh manager with a bit of fire in his belly and who has game plan and is willing to adapt his tactics.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 16:32:16
Ryan, wenger has finished doing his damage he's got 18 months to finish the job. Give him time.

14 Jan 2018 16:06:55
no one can no longer back wenger. and stan can do one too. change must happen.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 16:15:11
Derby there are people who think he's the mesiah and will find an excuse for him. There has already been enough this season for him to be sacked two or three times. he's taking us into obscurity.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 16:30:30
Wenger has to go simple as. He not able to motivate his players anymore and they in turn have lost confidence in him. Arsenal are on the brink of collapse into permanent mid-table Mediocrity if things carry on like this. Big changes are needed. We need a young dynamic manager that has some fire in his belly and more importantly has an actual game plan and can adjust tactically to the game situation as it happens. He needs to be tougher on the players and not afraid to ruffle a few feathers. Wenger’s main weakness has been his stubborn loyalty to too many underperforming players for far too long. We need board that has some ambition and desire for Arsenal to be a top class team and not just a money making machine.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 18:19:03
it is ed but we knew this was going to come you said it last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its very sad to be honest stephen, he should have been gone by now and be remembered as a pioneer and an arsenal legend, i fear his reputation is being tainted now and that should never happen to someone who has given so much to the game mate..

14 Jan 2018 15:24:29
Utterly abysmal performance from Arsenal. Nothing to say in their defence. Five points adrift from the top four, could be eight if 'Pool win. Dismal, dismal stuff.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 15:27:40
In beginning to find it amusing, we’ve tried to do it on the cheap for years and got away with it.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - hardly amusing BG..more pathetic mate..

14 Jan 2018 15:29:25
Sackable material. Even less professional clubs call time when it's like this.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 15:58:15
Kronke has just this minute rung the club, he read we got beat by a lesser club again. he's never heard of nottingham forest.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 15:19:07
as of today who is the Arsenal player who will light up a stadium? Who is the player who can change a game? The pressure is on to make not one or two but more, top, top quality signings. Without those Arsenal are destined to be challenging for Europa League for years to come. Most of the players we have now are good but not top four quality.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 13:29:52
I’m wondering if we are lining up a big signing in the summer?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 14:03:20
Who simeone?

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 14:54:38
I know Wenger is offering potential signings a years worth of haircuts from tony and guy, spray tans for the duration of the contract and if any player signs with the option of a years extension, they will get a selfie stick 👍.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 15:14:34
I'm not so sure there will be any big signings in the summer as prices will be inflated due to world cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - my god you need something after todays performance 14..

14 Jan 2018 15:27:37
That display was as bad as I've seen us play, its no wonder Sanchez is off.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - and can you blame him sparky?..

14 Jan 2018 15:33:12
I know I need something ed025, a large whisky! I really don't think we will buy big this summer and starting a team overhaul. I hope I'm wrong though as I'm sick of the status quo at the moment. There doesn't seem to be any vision or coherence at the club, from an outside perspective.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your worse than everton.. :)

14 Jan 2018 13:29:03
. Me personally i would have had walcott for iwobi and ramsey for xhaka. A mid 3 of ramsey wilshere and say maitland niles would be intetesting.
I think its about time we fielded a team without our 2 big stars so that we can see what life without ozil and sanchez will be. I hope the pennys dropped with stubborn wenger about our two stars not signing contracts and he gets in players asap. Fingers crossed we can get ozil to sign but sanchez needs to go. team is more important.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 12:11:18
Not only man citeh and utd but chelski and liverpool circling to join the fire sale. We only need spuds to join in and then we have really dropped.

Why have we never even attampted to bring in Mahrez.? His performance yesterday against Chelsea proves he's good enough to play at the top level and is miles better than Wolly Walcott 😂.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2018 12:53:24

Malcolm
Mahrez

Evans

Step in right direction even if not the perfect signings but upgrade on Theo, Granit and Iwobi plus better short term cover in CD.
