Yep, thought he was older too mate.

I thought he was around that age. If Wenger were to leave, he would be one of my choices, as well as Guardiola and everyone will disagree, Mourinho!

honestly mourinho is an amazing manager but i'd hate him at the emirates. I really don't like his style of football

i'd never support a team managed by jose.

i think you are being kind there grow by describing what his teams produce as football. The man is a horrible anti-football cretin and that is mirrored in his teams.

Honestly I don't think Arsenal fans realise how blessed we are with the style we have always played and we take it for granted, yes the titles have been thin but I promise you if we played the style of football week in week out that Chelsea do we would be doing our nut in. It would feel good one time only in May

{Ed025's Note - you dont remember george graham then growbun?..

15 Oct 2015 09:34:43
Good point Ed. Hence the famous "1-0 to The Arsenal".

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - they were a good side dags but not very pleasing on the eye, i just wonder how many would want that back if it meant winning the league?..

15 Oct 2015 10:21:14
I don't think it's a case of win ugly v success, we simply haven't had a team that's good enough at the very top. That's changed recently, Walcott might yet be the answer up front and if we bring in Carvalho in January, we won't need much more. Over the next three years we have the ability and means to win whilst playing some of the best football. Wenger is always searching for the final piece of the jigsaw and if he finds it, there's a lot to be positive about. It's as if he does it on purpose to give other teams a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i still think you are 3 players short barn, a center half, a defensive midfielder(even though i like le coq) and a top quality striker..

15 Oct 2015 10:32:06
It's always a tricky one Ed. If you look at the records, it only tells you the winners, and not how they won. Tricky.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - other teams supporters appreciated the invincibles dags, but that cant be said about the boring george graham side and i think that makes the difference mate..

15 Oct 2015 16:57:00
Totally agree Ed,
George Graham's Arsenal was probably the most maligned team in England at the time. But, on the flip side, George would probably point at the trophies he won to counteract the stigma attached to his sides.

International break and Walcott scores, Ramsey scores, Chamberlain scores, Cazorla scores, Giroud scores, Sanchez scores and all you can do is bang on about Kevin phucking De Bruyne.

No one hates the guy but he DOESN'T play for our club.

You need to give your head a shake mate.

Me too mate, it made me laugh the other day when you said it was Marc Overmars that got you into Arsenal.

I was thinking Kevin De Bruyne has got to be the precursor that see's you move over to City!

Who where you supporting before your love for Overmars ;-)

14 Oct 2015 10:06:00
Overmars wasn't that long ago Derby so your either 16/17 years of age or you have turned coat once before and are in your 30's

Best winger we ever had.

{Ed001's Note - that was the first thing I thought as well.}

14 Oct 2015 15:46:10

1) Pires.
2) Overmars.

freddie very underrated and what about the amount of goals he scored

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Oct 2015 14:57:56
Freddie was great, top player for sure, thinking of him I guess there is hope for a winger making runs up the middle - Ramsey, but still not convinced that Ramsey/Cazorla and Ozil shouldn't just be in a rotation.
