Apparently, Cech has conceded more goals at Arsenal (3 years) , than in his 11 years at Chelsea.

Christ mate, he needs time.
Not really fair to judge him on 9 games, he needs to at least 2022.

I agree D16. I say give him time.
He's a club legend and should be allowed to leave when he decides.
Arsenal are not far away.

The thing is D16 is the players put out there let him down. But when it came to substitutions that's where it just got stupid. All game you could see lacazette making runs and holding his head in frustration when great run after great run was ignored to the slow predictable build up, passing from side to side and back to cech. I was thinking really need ozil on to see the runs as we haven't got to see that combo yet. Then on comes ozil and to my utter disbelief off comes laca and on comes giroud. Then when we're should have been crashing the win he was going to bring on jack he changed his mind and brought on holding πŸ˜‚πŸ˜΅πŸ˜‚πŸ˜΅ and before anyone says about kos been injured the change should have been jack for kos and elneny back into defense. Wenger is ultimately going to get it because regardless of last year here he is not doing anything about what is obvious to even the most retarded of people. He is so stuck in his ways like never using subs until after 70 mins . You could set your watch by him. I'm finding it so hard to be respectful after I've always called for it. But we're just trapped in this infinite loop of insanity and half the problems are so obvious to all but the alleged professor of football! He's either getting dementia or is so full of his own rubbish that he can't see the forest for the trees.

agree sanogo. I’m more getting to the point there some like you that are here giving your views each week and game regardless. Then others like Malaga that come on and get louder when things are going crap. When things are well they’re no where to be seen. Just what I think and obviously no malice is meant in this.

4 aways games 1 goal 1pt, Chelsea Liverpool Stoke Watford are far from the easiest places to go but today was Watford's first home win of the season and without checking I'm not sure if either Stoke or Liverpool have beaten anyone else at home this season?
Not a moan just a stating of the facts we are going to have improve dramatically away from home and be near 100% at home if we are to get even close to Chelsea Spurs City or Utd and make any kind of top 4 challenge worthy of mentioning.
On the season so far the 5th to 7th place predictions of many before a ball was kicked are looking very realistic, it is what it is.

It's the raver coming through in his famous Subaru to see how deluded R. G. is feeling yet again after another defeat, well R. G. I'm feeling like Tony the tiger from Kelloggs frosties and I'm feeling GrrREAT lol. I'm now looking forward towards Tuesdays trip to Madrid to see spurs v Madrid followed by drinking the tapas bars dry and having plenty of senoritas to take back to the hotel.

Complete and utter dross . We don't beat the big sides because we are not good enough and the other teams beat us because they have desire, commitment and a great work ethic all the above are sadly missing at Arsenal. I personally did not think it was a penalty but i think Watford would have still eventually got something out of the game. The worse thing though is their is no chance of a change on the horizon due to Wengers arrogance that he brazenly takes 9mill a year and takes no responsibility for the obvious shortcomings, mistakes, dross etc etc. To sum us up at best we are a good cup side.

Just watching what must count as one of the worst performances I have seen from an Arsenal side. Absolutely and utterly disillusioned. No fight, no passion, sitting back against bloody Watford and asking to be beaten.

Nothing personal but evertime I see Mert in the side I worry and everytime I see Iwobi I think of a 10 man starting 11.
Mesut can be a passenger on occasions but he is a VIP passenger with proven credentials on many many occasions at the very highest level, while Iwobi for all his potential is simply a passenger in 14/ 15 games he plays.
It's purely a football opinion not a opinion on players personally as I've nothing against any Arsenal player at all is all down footballing logic which Iwobi over Ozil seems in defiance of.

I see The Ox was sitting in the middle of a 7 man subs bench against Man Utd today.

He's finally got the central role he always wanted 😏.

It is an area that confuses most people (me included) nice to put examples to the positions really helps me understand . I was going to ask about box to box but just seen it says part 1. Good read.

{Ed001's Note - cheers Sanogo, yes that is for the next part, the actual proper central midfield. Then the final part will deal with the attacking mids.}

14 Oct 2017 23:46:23
Brendan Rodgers tried to convert Steven Gerrard to later in his career, though Gerrard was never entirely able to get the hang of the defensive side and sometimes slipped up allowing opponents in-harsh! Lol! πŸ˜‚.
