In all seriousness, I think it's great that suppporters from other clubs get on here to have a crack, it is called a BANTER page after all. We once had this guy on here that was even more confused than you actually, Chris. He already had a banter account, but saw fit to start another one and pretend to be a spuds fan. What was his name again? Keep up the posting on here Chris old mate, it's warms the heart when a fan from a mid-table team gets his hopes up when they manage to scrape into the UCL. I even think the Spuds managed that once, and they didn't even come from as far back as 7th, like your lot. Good signs there, if your lot keep it up, they may even rival the spuds illustrious heights!

My wife has threatened to leave me, because of my incompetence, even though I have just spent 5 years single handedly building our dream home.

On well, she knows where the front door is.

In the loft, just behind the fireplace.

I've never been a huge Wilshere fan.

Yes, I know he is Arsenal through and through, but I judge players on their performances on pitch, rather than because they were born spitting distance of The Emirates.

Last season, possibly through no fault of his own, he played a bit part and, in my opinion, was rarely missed.

However, the 2 goals, and the performance against Slovenia, may mean he has come of age.

He is not an automatic choice for Wenger, indeed he prefers Cazorla, and to a lesser extent, Ramsey in Wilshere's favoured Centre Mid role.

So, could this be, injuries allowing, Wilshire's season?

Could we build a team around Jack, or will he flatter to deceive again?

I was a big fan but watching him continually lose the ball and stand looking at the ref for an excuse plus other things that have given me the impression he believed it was all about Jack for him and he thought he was more than he was with nothing to prove to anyone.
Aaron's emergence last season along with the Ox left Jack very firmly relegated to the shadows which seemed to have made him realise he still had a lot to prove and before his last injury he was showing signs of getting his act together with only the Ox and Sanchez out performing at that time.
I don't doubt his ability but I do doubt his ability to get his attitude together to for fill that amazing ability.
I said last season should be make or break for him but he got a bad injury which wasnt down to him at all so for me his defining season has been put back a year, but let's hope he catches the Sanchez bug that so many others caught last season and finally delivers.

Think you will finish your dream home before Jack holds down a place in our midfield.

Jack always seems to divide opinion on this page but the honest truth is he is the best player we have produced since ashley cole.

The england match wasn't a fluke he has had some amazing performances for Arsenal. When we beat Barca at the Emirates messi, villa, xavi, iniesta, fabregas and van persie was on the pitch but he won the man of the match award. The boy has some talent. Even this season against man city at the emirates, he was incredible.

But the biggest problem he has there are huge gaps between his good performances and you may only get 2/3 brilliant performances out of him a season. Injuries have played a huge impact on his career and it doesn't matter how talented you are if you can't get onto the pitch. If he can stay injury free for a long period of time then we have an incredible player on our hands and definitely can build a team around him. Maybe not next season but I have huge confidence in the future jack could be one of the best we ever produced. Needs to get his head down and work his socks off and stay fit or otherwise it could be diaby part 2

I wonder if in 3 years time when Jack is Theo's age we will still be talking about his wonderful potential? We need to stop being so precious about and more expectant of our English players who have been with us from an early age if ever we want to be champions again.
I just can't imagine chelsea city or even utd still pining their hopes on players who looked full of potential 7 and 9 years ago, Sanchez has raised the bar of expectation and making special allowances for certain players will only lower it again taking us back to 4th place champions again.

Gnabry is considering a loan to Celtic contact been.
Personally I think that is the best place for considering how denayer got on.

Don't sign Harry Kane may have 1 good season.
But as Fulham found out its not justifiable as Ross mckormack was on fire for Leeds so Fulham snapped him up for 11 mill and hasn't been a quarter of what he was that season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

16 Jun 2015 22:07:28
Ross is a cracking player mate. He was injured for a fair bit early on was he not? He will make Fulham his worth twice over next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jun 2015 08:25:10
Ross has a slightly better goals to games ratio with Fulham so I don't understand

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jun 2015 08:35:55
Hahaha Arsenal fans.. Say not to bother with Harry Kane because he's only had one good season yet deem Coquelin world class despite one good half a season and being 4 years older..

Agree0 Disagree3

17 Jun 2015 08:57:02
Is goal ratio at Leeds was 1 in 2.65, where at Fulham it's 1 in 2.53.

So while it's not setting records it's better at Fulham.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jun 2015 11:01:09
Saim, please tell me one person who has called Coquelin world class on here, he's been brilliant since he came in, but world class no.

Harry kane has done well this season, but so has Danny ings and Charlie Austin, yet the price some of the spurs fans think they'll get for him is ridiculous.

And how many years between 1991 and 1993?

{Ed001's Note - We have posted a new article entitled, Is Cech Right For Arsenal

Believable0 Unbelievable0

16 Jun 2015 18:30:52
Good article that Ed, tyanks.
If we have the chance to make it happen and don't take we could well regret it for years to come, as the article says how often do keepers like Cech become available? Got to be done if it possibly can be

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 19:33:46
Absolutely g62. I can remember when United bought van der Sar I think he was 35 at the time and he was mint for United. There's a good few years left in cech..

I really think it's going to happen

16 Jun 2015 20:21:09
I hope so brow mate, Ospina did really well last season but if you have Robin but are offered the chance to have Ranaldo you've got to take no matter what, it would be the same with Le Coq and Progba or Giroud and Benzema.

Gnabry should go to Celtic after the success of Denayer from Man City 2 Belgium caps not bad considering I never heard of the lad before that.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

16 Jun 2015 12:36:37
Gnabry has already played in th EPL and he didn't do too badly at all. Going to the Scottish league would be a step down and I reckon he is able to and should play at a higher level if we are going to send him out to get games.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 14:31:37
I'm sure Gnabry was being lined up for a loan move to Southampton last year until he got that knee injury.

That would be an ideal place for him but they have since bought a few in that may no longer mean they need his type of player.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 22:17:50
At the same time TPG winning the Scottish premier league, Scottish cup, playing European football regular starter that can only be good for confidence right? He will tear the SPL up and yes it may be a poor league but Celtic are a massive club and he will learn a lot. I agree with playing in a better league but who will provide him with as much football he won't be a regular starter for any the The champs/ Thursday club teams in the EPL. Celtic is a safe choice and at this stage of his career, a good one I believe.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 22:45:51
Agree with 101.

5 minutes on the pitch is better than 90 minutes on the bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jun 2015 11:58:49
I would agree but ofcourse he could get regular games at a PL team, nevermind championship. If Akpom can then why not Gnabry who has already played and scored at senior level?

16 Jun 2015 09:59:08
If arsenal sign a GK, DM and striker who of the players would you keep, loan or sell. Arteta, rosicky, Flamini, sanogo, campbell, podolski and Szcsesny.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

16 Jun 2015 18:37:32
Keep Arteta and Rosicky (assuming they want to stay). Sell flamini, campbell, podolski, szcsesny. Loan sanogo.

Anyone a fan of bolasie here? Think he's great and would be a top squad player

Believable1 Unbelievable0

16 Jun 2015 12:41:31
I'm a massive fan, that flick he did against Eriksen was one of the best things I've seen in ages, I think it's been dubbed the 'Bolasie flick'.

I do think he is too good to be a squad player though and, at the moment, too inconsistent to be a regular starter for any of the 'top four' teams.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 14:58:27
I know! He's a increadibly skilful player but as you said too hot and cold , when he is on his game though he's just a joy to watch .

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 09:12:29
I see we are linked with draxler again. Do you think he is worth the price, do we really need another player in that position? And even if we offload Campbell, sanogo and podolski I don't see the need for another attacking option except for a striker.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

16 Jun 2015 12:22:49
I think Wenger see Draxler as a player to be converted to an out and out striker...much like he did with Henry..who came to us as a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jun 2015 12:41:53

16 Jun 2015 09:28:33
If true I think we are the least likely to sign him
utd
city
chavs
Arsenal
Is the most likely order for me as he'd want very good money to return to UK
utd are the desperado club who will keep throwing money at their problems until something happens, what he said about them when he joined city doesn't matter to LVG he's only interested in winning the title at any cost.
