Okay maybe with me implying the crazy notion that Bayern would beat you over 2 legs has upset a few on here! (Okay maybe I was a bit dismissive and if I did upset some with that notion I apologize, but it is my opinion and yes DG it was a statement and I stick by it! At the same time I also said I would love to be proved wrong as I always want the English clubs to do well in Europe because I believe we have the best league in the world and proving that in the CL goes along way to proving that to the doubters.

Well I want all the English clubs except 1 to do well :)

But I don't understand why this has upset a few, the form and odds will say the same thing but some seemingly have really thrown their toys outta the pram(Jenny) with this notion.

Onto Jenny I have no intention about getting into an adult debate with such an immature little girl, who if someone god forbids to have a different opinion to her they are open to slagging or childish remarks, so grow up and we can have a adult discussion or just don't read my posts much like MKD or Malaga who I share the same feelings about, there are a few adults out there (DG, G62 to name a few) that have grasped the fact that even thou we support different teams we can still have adult debates about 1 and others clubs in a civil way.

It would seem me also implying a striker that has scored only 7 league goals with such a creative midfield behind him as only a 'decent striker' has caused a stir too, but to all I do ask, why? If you had got Suarez do u honestly think he would only have 7?
'But assists and work rate' I hear you say, well take Rooney for example he, in a team you lot have said are poor has scored more goals and in less games, once again I'm not saying he's poor, far from it but nowhere near top-class, if that bothers you then I'm sorry but u ask any other fan that ain't a gooner and I'm sure most will agree with me, do u think if Liverpool sold Suarez to u in the summer they would come calling for Giroud to fill the gap left by him? No, damn if they sold Sturridge to u I'm sure they wouldn't be looking at Giroud to replace his role in the team.

Once again I do expect some childish slagging but its not my intention to create venomous atmosphere against me just thought I'd clear up what I meant last night and if some want to explain why they feel I'm wrong I'd gladly listen to their views and take on-board their points.

Ok mate, fair play to you for coming on and "explaining" things and to be fair you make some valid points, and of course, you are entitled to your opinions, that's what banter is all about.
But, i'm going to stick up for Jenny here. She posts a lot and her posts are always very well constructed and very knowlegable and she has a great understanding of, not just Arsenal, but football in general, so leave our Jenny alone.
Remember, play nicely. I don't know if you saw it but last week I posted a very long post about "giving David Moyes a chance". a lot of your boys replied what a great post it was and that I should come to the Manchester United site more often as a I made a lot of sense.(not blowing my own trumpet btw)
that's how to play nicely, so play nicely Chris lol.

Ctr, giroud may not be setting the pl on fire like Suarez, but he is a perfect fit in our team.

Bayern Munich are probably the best team in Europe, but like last time we are more then capable of going there and beating them.

Like you I hope all English teams do well, as it only does good for our league.

I could quite easily have written that post for you and many other similar ones you write.

Had a poster written your attempt at banter on the United page it would have been met with a go away and learn to do this better or when ure team has won something come back and we'll discuss it further etc etc.

The same old same old, it is little wonder the Ed's consider your page to be one of the worst at banter and that you have the likes of lfc, Cheshire Cat, Marcellus Wallace, Where's Sydney and countless others ridiculing you on an almost daily basis, the majority of whom seem to single you out in particular, ask yourself why?

I am glad to see you are going to go against the trend of 99% of Man United fans I know and have intelligent debates. I agree, some people are very childish and seem only capable of offending others whilst being blinded by ignorance.

For me, It is quite ignorant to judge a strikers success purely based on goals scored. Giroud can find the back of the net and offers so much more than that. Chicharito, in my opinion, offers goals and nothing else. Giroud can hold up the ball superbly, is selfless providing many assists and has a brilliant work rate. On a whole he has loads to offer to any team. I really like him, think he is a good player but not first choice quality for a club of our stature. We need a Lewandowski, Suarez etc Someone who is prolific. Onto Rooney, I rate him highly as a CF. He is World Class and find it hard to see otherwise.

I am not at all offended by people saying Bayern will beat us. i'm not delusional. Are we capable of beating them? Yes. Will that happen? Sorry fellow gooners, probably not. We finished 2nd In our group when we really shouldn't have. Its our own fault. However I reckon City and Chelsea will also crash out.

I purely made a comment about on a posters remark of bad ref-ing, and cheating etc and pointed out u will go out, do I think u can beat bayern? Yes do I think u will no! I stand by that.

U know little about nothing child, and the reason Marcellus used to single me out i'm guessing is because maybe u and him borrow the same brain cell now and again!

I know and can except where we are at the moment u are seemingly the one who is so insecure about her owm team u feel the need to resort to petty remarks and childish abuse.

Owned again, gem of a post, funniest thing is when you sit down and compose a long post to try and extricate yourself from another big hole you can spell perfectly well, then you lose your rag post in haste and out comes all your childish text speak.

And you think I share a brain cell. Seriously dude, think, really have a think why you get singled out all the time, kind of step back and look at it from the perspective of the 3rd person.

Who is this CTR he says Giroud is not world class. ok that's his opinion. But please tell me who is World Class at United.
Rooney?! More like worlds arse. Don't make me laugh! RVP he doesn't want to be there anymore that's obvious. So CTR please tell us who you believe is World Class at United, I'm being serious because I must have missed something. Arsenal players that I think are world class Kos, Szczesny, Mert, Cazorla, Podolski, Theo to name but a few they would walk into the United team. CTR don't make us laugh. Have a nice Christmas mate.

Id have De Gea over your keeper, i'd have Rafael over Sagna, i'd have either Rooney or RVP over Giroud, Heck i'd have Adnan over theo now, to name a few!

Your midfield is class that I cannot deny you and your defense this season has been okay, maybe more down to wasted chances than lock outs but still been decent.

Ok but who is WORLD CLASS IN YOUR TEAM? Please let us know. You have said you would rather have him than this or that but please tell us who is World class at Man Utd. Let me help you out here a bit . As an example! Have you seen Rooney playing for England? would you say he plays like a world class player. He may be ok in the premier league but on the world stage would you pay him £250,000 a week? come on mate you must be buzzing if you can say yes to that. The only reason in my opinion Rooney is paid that is because of the income his name generates from thousands of deluded fans in merchandise sales.He certainly would not get that on his football talent. If you think he is worth that for his football talent then f**k me that makes Cazorla, Theo, Giroud, Kos, Mert etc look like they are on apprentice money.

all the players I mentioned I would take over yours, now onto who is worldclass, well Rooney and RVP are, Vidic has been over the last 5 years although he may be pushing it now, for me De Gea is and rafa can be.
I would suggest as of now u have 1 in Ozil but the rest are far from it, although very good players.
Yes I have seen Rooney carry a very poor england team over the last 10 years and his goal record shows that wouldn't u agree?

Maybe if u described the conditions in determining who is worldclass I can give u a better answer because it seems to me unless they play for Arsenal u discount them.

Really though are trying to tell me Giroud, Mert, Kos, Cazorla and Theo are? if so I could chuck u many players I deem not even close to the worldclass standard as worldclass

To add my piece on World Class, firstly it is a term mostly reserved for the United page with little or nothing to back it up. Last year it was Jones who came of age and was going to be the next big thing. We can all see how that is going.

The young Belgium kid hits the 1st team and now he is or will next week be World Class.

The simple fact is United don't possess a current world class player in their ranks. Rooney despite showing great ability in the EPL has never reached the heights of World Class.

RVP was certainly on great form up until the Real Madrid game last season. He failed when it counted most and hasn't in my opinion come back from that.

Kagawa whilst a great player at Dortmund is like Rooney a shadow of his former self.

No other United midfielder is on a par with ours.

None of your defensive unit or goalkeepers can be currently be described as world class. De Gea is showing promise but a few recent slip ups have gone under the radar because they didn't result in the goals against columb. He like Szczesny has the ability to go on and become world class.

Rafael again has promise but has gone backwards this season but he is young and can come again.

As far as we are concerned we have better players in most positions but genuine World Class at a Saurez level then no.

Playing at a top level then yes, with more in the tank for a lot of them, something that cannot be said for an ageing and out of form United side who currently have 5 or even 6 teams playing better football than them.

Just my opinion of course.
