Great write up mate although probably a little high in some of the marks for the mutton heads playing in those hideous bluey grey shirts. They really were garbage.

I’m really liking Fabinho too, he’s getting better every game. Was a pleasure to watch after seeing us make a pigs ear out of playing the saints. 😂.

Ed mate, I can’t believe your boys have gone and got him sacked, hopefully the halfwit Woodward will employ another clown. 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I am gutted mate, he was doing such a great job. Not that it will matter with the Equaliser picking the sequels. He has already got it wrong 3 times in a row.}

18 Dec 2018 11:22:12
Haha that is the big bonus that they didn’t get rid of him as well, see that nugget Pogba has already posted a smug selfie saying “Caption this”.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Pogba will be next out of the door I am sure.}

United are looking for a caretaker manager until the end of the season, who as at a loose end right now and might relish the chance to show he can do a better job than Jose with exactly the same players?
Who would give United fans attacking football between now and May?
Who is available experienced and has the perfect antidote to Jose park the bus philosophy?
Who might go to old Trafford on a short term deal knowing it might turn out to be a little longer if things went well?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - well if you insist, but they will need to pay for my flight back to the UK.}

I think RG61 would be a perfect candidate. He has successful managerial experience.

The nation will gladly club together to bring you home Ed mate safe in the knowledge that you are the perfect man to finish off the job Jose started, the total dismantling of Manchester United as a footballing force :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - the worrying thing is I am not sure if I could do worse than he did if I tried!}

18 Dec 2018 14:28:26
Do you think he could have been working for Chelsea City Arsenal Liverpool Spurs all along mate?
If so he did an outstanding job :-)

In all seriousness he should take a long break from football and try and rediscover his old happy self.
The Jose Mourinho during his first stint as Chelsea manager was a brilliant asset to football, funny charming and underneath all the bravado a very decent and kind human being.
During his time in Milan and Madrid he lost his true personality and returned to Chelsea as the angry one rather than the special one.
Get rid of the anger the bitterness and insecurities that fuel them and he might just have a Swansong successful job left in him.
Yes he has wealth beyond most people's dreams but he certainly doesn't have happiness.

That’s a fantastic shout Sharpie but I think Gareth Southgate may just edge him out, he would become a legend at United and I’ve already signed the petition to get him the job.

Besides you have to remember what a jet setter 61 is, he’s out of the country at least 6 months of the year.

I’m now having 2nd thoughts and think Solksjaer would be the man, he could replace Mourinho and the donkey Lukaku.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - how dare you say that about donkeys stoner.. :)

18 Dec 2018 16:55:01
Fair shout Ed, I’m sure even with hoofs they’d have a better first touch than him. My bad. 😂😂.

Some Spurs fans getting very upset about United fans suggesting Poch should be there new manager and stating that , I think they are wrong and Poch will be the next United full time boss.

At United Poch would have a job for as long as he wishes if he makes them competive (same as he's done at Spurs competive) and good to watch again, he would have money to spend unlike at Spurs and higher wages and for me it would seem a very easy decision for Poch to make and one he'd be crazy to turn down.

He does seem the obvious choice 62, Spurs could then offer Mourinho a way back into Premiership football at a smaller club to build his rep back up. 😂.

18 Dec 2018 19:45:12
Spurs would have a huge task filling Poch position successfully, apparently Poch has actually asked to be considered for the United job now, I wonder which players would want out too if he goes.

Apprently moyes 6 year contract wouldn't be up yet, they have just given Maureen 5 years contract and poch just signed a five year contract. With the other dummy they got rid of, this managerial situation, if they do go after poch will be costing them a fortune in compo. Levy won't let poch go with his blessing and a handshakes, that's for sure.

United have spent 600 million since Fergie retired, 20 million on Poch could prove the most sensible yet.

And the rest gunner, I've read there is a £40mil compo required if he is allowed to go.

Strange comments by Vieira, surely as a manager that's when you most need to stand up be strong and take control of the situation.
If any player is allowed to be stronger than the manager then that manager will soon be an ex manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I think he just means he can't get physical with him and sort it that way, like he would have done as a player. That now he is a coach he has to find a new way to deal with problems, rather than a head on forceful manner.}

17 Dec 2018 11:19:42
Cheers Ed that makes more sense, it was just the bit about walking out during a team talk that confused me because if I was a manager and any player did that it would mean a month training alone away from the rest of the squad regardless if it was Ronaldo Messi or Baloteli.
I would never want to manage a club with Neymar at it, I'd be sacked in 30 seconds but at least I'd have my integrity to go with my p45 :-)

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed001's Note - the problem is that he has to be careful with his reaction or he risks losing the squad.}

17 Dec 2018 11:49:42
Is Mario that popular with his team mates at the club?
I like the lad but he's never going to reach his full potential unless he knuckles down and fits in and puts his personal feeling and opinions to one side.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it's not like that. It is that Vieira is new to his role and every one of the players is watching how he handles it. If he loses the plot and goes running over and grabs him, he looks like he is not ready for management. This is not the old days when people could do that. They are a bunch of snowflakes these days who can't handle it being up front. You have to adapt to the times and Vieira is trying to do that. It is not like your day when they were on maximum wages and he could send 'em down the pit if they annoyed him!}

17 Dec 2018 14:57:25
Alas no its not like that anymore:-) no half time orange or magic sponge where a players got up from proper hard tackles within seconds and not only played on but would be available for 42 games a season regularly.
Thems was the days, orange footballs used in the snow and the moon provided the only floodlights necessary, ok I lied about the moon bit but you've got to allow room for poetic licence when talking about the 1800s.
