It will be very interesting to see the team we put out against Hull.
I hope Elneny plays, as I have a feeling he will turn out to be a very good acquisition.
Chambers deserves another turn out at Center back, Gibbs (if fit) , Campbell, Welbeck (for 15-10 mins, as a sub) , Ox and Theo should also play.

Ospina, chambers, Iwobi, Campbell, Gibbs, eleney will all probably start.

I agree RG69, he's already proven he's ready to replace everyone in your CM after that 20 min appearance!

I heard Barcelona want him CTR, based on that same 20 mins.

Cris the REDman, I merely stated that I had a positive feeling in repect of Elneny. I wouldn't judge a player on a 20 min appearance, but you can get a good idea of player in such a short period and I liked what I saw, hence playing at home in an FA Cup tie against a Championship side is the next step in integrating the player into the first team. I would certainly like to see him start ahead of Arteta and Flamini and with a testing schedule until the end of the season, Coquelin can't be expected to play every match.

I feel a bit sorry for Elneny because there's been a lot of silly talk about him replacing Ramsey or whoever based on what people want him to be rather than what they actually know about him.
If he proves himself to be the new Pogba by the end of March fantastic but don't judge him to harshly if he proves to be a £5 million squad player with a lot to learn before he's a premier league seen sensation.

It is really getting a bit frustrating on here. We moan about missing players like mihrez who only costs 400k, and the lack of our scouts team, and we moan about not buying a world class player. We are talking this guy up and down and we haven't seen anything of him yet. He is an arsenal player now and a newly bought one, so I think a little of support that all what this player needs to feel welcomed for him do to what he's best at.
We have bought many players in the past where they didn't cost much and hardly heard of and turned up world class. So give this guy a break until he is settled and have few games under his belt and then talk.
Replacing him with ramsey isn't the answer and I think? Even though Ramsey not having the form of his life but that little experience might just help a little.

Red never rated him mate, water carrier.

He would take all those proven winners I had over the last 10 years any day. :)

it appears that Elneny may well play tomorrow against Hull. I think that once he has settled in next season, a quality player may well emerge. In the current team Wenger unearthed unknown gems such as Koscielny, Belllerin, Coquelin, Giroud, etc, who if we are honest we knew little about and cost relatively low transfer fees.

I would play Adelaide for me he will be better than Campbell. Ox. Iwobi. Nothing fazes him. Is gnabry back from wba?

I'd play merts before Suarez ends his arsenal career.

Wesley mate, debuchy left on a loan to Bordeaux.
I think Per will play against Barcelona as we will be defending and he will have the whole team just right in front of him for the whole game and walcott will lead the line for his pace.

I see the media is linking us with Carrick now . If this is true I will be very disappointed in Wenger. Replacing FlamArt with him is just a step too far . We will be opening up an old folks home soon . I don't rate Carrick at all .

Don't worry you'll never see that hideously over rated stroker in an Arsenal shirt, I've heard United are giving him a rise and a new 3 year contract as he is so integral to the new bore the arse of everyone philosophy that has become the new United way.

Gazillions in the bank, teams a load of ****. ;-)

I very much doubt this will happen and think it's just silly media stuff to get people to read it.
Carrick is to old now but IMO has been one of the most underared and underused by his country English players ever, good enough be an automatic chioce for Fergie to win titles and champions leagues with consistently over the year not for so many consecutive England managers? Says it all really.

Obviously a place on the injury table or geriatric team.

Michael Carrick was absolute class when at spurs, he was also a class player at west ham and man Utd, him and Glenn hoddle were the best passers of a ball I have seen at the lane very underrated.

17 Feb 2016 12:02:53
It was bad enough that we kept Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky, there is no way Wenger is after 34 year old Carrick.

Best passers you have ever seen at the lane raver. Well I guess your not exactly spoilt for choice now are you 🤔.

Only about 10 years too late, a good player but too injury prone no. just don't see the benefit. At 34 I just can't see it just for backup cover might as well keep Flamini or Arteta.

With the amount of players red didn't rate at United it kinda makes u wonder how he can still have faith in wenger?

Yeh I went there :)

Derby you are a proper pillock! Lol.

I'd have Martial, De Gea and Shaw all day long, you can poke the rest of the shizzle in their squad right where the sun doesn't shine. Those 3 would improve our squad, the rest would maybe improve Newcastle or West Brom.

CTR. 🎣 ;-)

Jeez Derby Smalling is proper average, saved mostly by two defensive mids, I'd even prefer Mertesacker.

Mata and the likes are good players we just have better. Be funny to see Maureen there I'd love it if they make it happen. They certainly need shot of the phylisophical genius, personally I'd give him another 4 years, see how far backward he could take them.

18 Feb 2016 21:15:17
Sanogo, you have never produced a player like Glenn hoddle and never will. You say we are not spoilt at the lane the last time I checked we are challenging for the league and are above you lol.

Glen hoddle lol.

If wenger signed smalling Derby red would instantly change his mind, much like welbz.
