thank the lord for that, i'm a bit miffed about the it wasn't a foul for our first goal - errm it looked a yellow card to me

and it wasn't a corner for our second goal? what about the hand ball and multiple fouls on santi oh and the tug giroud to the floor

gotta say neil warnock on bt sport well done for hiding your team you were supporting perfect neutral you were not you joke of a man (recorded on sky plus for me)

overall I would like to give a big shout to the hull fans and team you were magnificent and I think possibly given a full choice of players you really could have pulled it off

if any team know about injuries at key times its us, i'm just glad we finally out battled you and good luck in the europa league you'll be a right old team to beat I wish you well

respect to brucey you did us once and well you nearly got away with it a second time,

big shout out to the lads we're a little rough around the edges but god damn wenger you know what you need to improve

get the business done early please and let's kick on from here

17 May 2014 20:01:37
Well that could have been much easier than it was. We had so many chances that could have been buried along with the numerous referee mistakes. I fell to the ground way too many times watching it on TV. Anyway thrilling contest and obviously ecstatic with the result! Wenger's subs were all spot on. Don't know why there was criticized. Now, let's get a striker, center-defensive mid, and a right-back as Sagna's most likely leaving (and a left winger would do us well, too)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 19:57:39
Not such a "specialist in failure" anymore, Jose really is choking on his words now. FA Cup Champions 2014. Loved seeing Kos and Mertesacker lifting the trophy together, they deserved it.

lets celebrate the win

we can come back tomorrow to discuss

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Spot on Banbury

Stand up if you love arsenal!

Ramsey! Couldn't ask for a better player at our club to score the winner!

Tears of joy

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree.

Speak to you all tomorrow you lovely lovely lovely Gooners.

Love you all, woop woop.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree but what a pass from Giroud (who was crap until Sonogo came on) Well done the Welsh wizard what a releif :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2014 18:21:37
Sanogo for Podolski! What the F@£#%! . Am I going nuts or something?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sonogo's performance has to be the worst I have seen in a final.
Has had so many chances and not looked dangerous once!

Agree0 Disagree0

The boy did well and is a Gooner

offered more than Pod and is srill young

give him a break and be happy

Agree0 Disagree0

If you really know anything about football, you would see the boy make a huge difference to our attack and he was a big part in turning it round.

Agree0 Disagree0

GOLDBOY podoloski pretty much did nothin other than pouring the bottle on wenger.

Sonogoo was much better great energy, his finishing is worse than Giroud, but hey it made Giroud play a lot better.

Agree0 Disagree0

JPSAGOONER

go watch the match again, and come back when your opinions have matured a little.

everyone has a right to an opinion, but yours bears no weight with ridiculous statements like that.

giroud AND sanogo aren't poachers, they hold the ball up for others to get involved, and sanogo did well in that role.

Also golds, podolski was completely missing today mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2014 18:17:12
Bet no one on here thought it would be 2-1 to hull at the break

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 18:05:25
Giroud, surely will not be our main striker next season, clumsy, careless, weak.

Sagna, Mr reliable if he's not required to cross the ball into the box.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 17:58:02
Next goal is huge. Hull score again and they win. We score next we win.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 17:54:41
very very very poor, we can't keep the ball, some players have frozen. I have to say a defeat will highlight everything I have thought, all I will say if this was against Everton, Spurs or inform Sunderland then game over, as it is we still have a chance .

What has happened to our midfield?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 17:32:59
Well that wasn't in the script! Just shows how much easier these Cup games are as underdogs, no-one expects Hull to get anything out of it and it allowed them to play with no pressure.
We'd better pull it back, and I like to think we can, I can't bear to hear the critics going on about 10 years without a trophy. We are better than that and everyone knows it.
COYG!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There is NO script in a cup final, those expecting a 3 or 4 nil win were dreaming

Agree0 Disagree0

BUT Banbury, We thought we would win mate unlike you.

17 May 2014 17:02:58

Everyone be on the look out for a monkey on the loose after we've got it off our backs!

COYG!

3-1 Arsenal (Ramsey, Poldi & Giroud)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 16:40:43
And it's Mertersacker with the ball who finds Ozil. Ozil finds Cazorla who goes round two players and puts in a fabulous cross into the box and GOAL! what a goal by GOLDBOY a fantastic overhead scissor kick into the top corner of the net Arsenal 1- Hull 0 with only 10 minutes played . Errrr sorry everyone I must have nodded off its the booze. Right let's get settled there is 20 minutes to go
COYG! COYG! COYG!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

a prediction from the hot jungles of Borneo.
Arsenal 3 Hull 1
Hull scores first, PM4 equalises, Ramsey puts us ahead and to top it off, Giroud scores in the final few minutes. Oh, and someone gets sent off.

2-0 Giroud double.

If we lose today, I can see a tremendous backlash and I really think Wenger would go.

Not that anything is ever taking for granted, nor should it be, but just in the context of the last 9 years. I can see many fans seeing it as the last straw.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wenger won't be going anywhere what ever. We will win easy, its hull, we won't have any problems, I promise.

I've just had this feeling hit me like a ton of bricks that today will be known in future years as THE AARON RAMSEY CUP FINAL, so i'm changing my prediction to 3 0 Ramsey to score 2 and Giroud the other.
What a fantastic way for him to end this amazing season he's had where he's gone from top leaper to our top man, real Roy of the Rovers stuff especially if he can pull out another magnificent display today.

Good morning to all British Gooners! The game's on at 01:30 here in the Northern Territory of Australia, I've got the fridge stacked with beer and a cupboard full of Doritos, so I'm good to go. Very jealous of those folks lucky enough to make it to Wembley, or even to watch the game at the Emirates. One day I'll make it to Ol' Blighty and watch a game live at the Emirates, no matter how much the price is jacked up!

good guy arsene wenger, leaving the transfer till the last possible moment to give the fans something to talk about over the summer and stay connected.

jokes apart.

how would your summer roll out if on the first day/week we announced: benzema, aurier, schinderlin (or similar quality)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'd start dreaming again immediately of a title challenge to that went the distance, we ain't far off and 2 or 3 quality additions would bring the dream that much closer.
I will be excited next season come what may but some real game changing players coming in would be brilliant.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get rid of deadwood and bring in young quailty.
But today is about the fa cup
Best of luck to all the lads that have tickets.im off to a little country pub that I used to go to watch the games, so its back to tradition for me
Come on Wenger lift that cup for us

If sagna is staying in the prem full stop I wouldn't play him, jenko can do a job. Sheza would start for me also if fabs is off simples!
Need to have the players that will be at the club next season hungry for more COYG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That's if sagna leaves afc obviously just to add lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Play your best side as it stands, Sagna has been a great player for us he deserves today where ever he is next season.
He stuck with us in his prime when he could have easily left like others

Agree0 Disagree0

Jenko can do a job against hull don't u think? he gna be at the club after the fa aswel. Not knocking what sags has done, not even to bothered if he goes city but I want the players that are remaining at the club to remain hungry for arsenal. Not saying il b pissd if sags starts aswel, just what I'd do, lucky I'm not the manager aye lol COYG COYG

Agree0 Disagree0

im with you
sagna has been a great player for us, he is better then jenks, so it has to be him
Christ I don't want to loose the cup and think well, that will teach sagna.
What he does next year is next year Today is today

Agree0 Disagree0

^ I can't help but feel that 'Sagna could have left when others didnt' isn't a good thing. Commitment is what players should have and shouldn't be looking to move at every opportunity.

You could say to your wife 'I saw a proper hottie out but I didn't cheat on you with her, how nice am I!?' She wouldn't be best pleased and wouldn't think you were nice!

Agree0 Disagree0

AFC4LiFE

Imagine your Diego Simeoone. Do you leave Diego Costa out tonight against Barcelona in a title decider because Costa is leaving for Chelsea?

Of course you don't.

That's why Sagna should and will play.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gd point rocky but they won the league without him didn't they lol

But yeh I hear that about teach sags aswel, he does deserve da fa cup for what he has done n all that I'm just upset he leaving mayb

Well the day has arrived, and like many others by the look of it I woke up at sparrows fart with excitement/nerves.
It's time to add another date to the board that goes around the Emirates with the dates of past glories. Which hasn't been added to in nearly a decade. ( Luckily the media only mention it at least three times a day)
It has haunted us like the bunny boiling one night stand you had, where you woke up in her apartment and found next to her wardrobe a shopping trolly! Supermarket visits have never been the same since.

Win for yourselves, for Arsene, for the fans, I really don't care. Just win it.
So to my Arsenal. In the words of the bunny boiler when she realised I just wanted to be friends who don't see each other or communicate in any way.
I love you! You'll never be rid of me! I'm always watching!

Spoken like a true fan. Actually it did s*** me up.

COME ON YOU GOONERS!
See you on the other side peeps :-)

I've heard that Hull will be taking tips from Spurs of next season by wearing their shirts back to front today. So it looks like they are attacking. LOL

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2014 07:18:13
With Sagna seeming increasingly likley to leave for RIVALS city would you play him. I personally wouldnt. Before people say about fabianski he has stayed and not held club to ransom plus it was his saves against wigan that got us here. What message does it send out when another one of our players rubs there contract down to leave for the oil club. Funny as with there smaller cl squad for next season will he even get a game. Sagna a grrat player but past it in my opinion I think he cost us more games than he saved last season. Anyway if only players was as loyal as the supporters. Whiever is going up there today maje some noise and bring that cup home and kick on.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sorry for poor spelling mostly predictive text and starting work at 5 to get back in time for the final. But hopefully you get the idea of the post GOYG

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I disagree. Sagna has been so consistent for us and he must play. He's far superior to what jenkinson currently is. I think your forgetting how valuable Sagna is to the club. The games he played centre back as cover and didn't look out of place.
Every player in his position with regard to his age and contract looks for 1 final good pay day. The problem and this goes for other players who have left, the club leaves it too long to sort contracts.
You can say Fabianski hasn't held the club to ransom but that won't stop him leaving. No time for sentiment today. Play your strongest team. And that to me would include Sagna and Sczesny.

Agree0 Disagree0

In totally agree Rocky plus will go further and say give him 100 k a week to stay, and if when jack Ox Ozil and Rambo are 31 and still with the club we can give them a final mega deal too, loyalty works both ways

Agree0 Disagree0

only managed 4 hours sleep last night been awake since 03:30. had the final on my mind before I went to sleep and when I woke up. a mixture of excitement and nerves.
winning the cup today will give the players a massive boost and the hunger to want more silverware and with 2 or 3 quality additions I really believe we can kick on next season.
i know some people ain't pleased where we ended up in the league but if someone said to me before start of the season top 4 and fa cup I would've took that like most people would have.

3-0 ramsey first goal.

hope you all enjoy the game wherever you are watching it.
COYG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Your 100% right we'd have all taken that pre season, and although we are disappointed the way our title challenge faded away so badly that's done and dusted now.

Man City, the richest club in world football, breach FFP rules and get fined £49m (£32m of it suspended) and are only allowed to select 21 players for their Champion's League squad, (only 21 players? ahh poor thing's).

FIFA, get a grip.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did I say it or didn't I.? Money talks bull s walks mate.

But they still have to register 8 home grown players in their CL squad, plus they have wage restrictions and transfer restrictions. Can't wait until tomorrow comes.

I'm so excited. Feel like a little kid waiting for the sweet shop to open.

1000's will be going and million's of people will be watching it on TV.

Will they get nervous and mess it up?
Will the occasion be too much for some of them?
Will the under-dog's win the day?
Are they prepared, both mentally and physically?
Will they perform or fluff it up?

I can't wait. Haven't been this excited in years.
Come tomorrow afternoon, everything will be set up.
Mrs Dags is going to her mums for the evening and the kids are going with her.

I will have the house to myself. Peace and quiet and I can watch every twist, every turn, as it happen's.

The beer's have been bought.
I will order a Pizza an hour before it starts.

When I wake up in the morning, there will be only one thing on my mind.
I will count the hours, the minutes, the seconds.

Will I be ready in time?
Have I forgot anything?
Should I turn my phone of just before it starts?
Don't answer any knock on the door. "Go away".

I will be nervous all day.Haven't had this feeling for a long time.
Just before it start's, the hair's on the back of my neck will be standing up, palms feel sweaty.

All day long, eager anticipation, wondering what will happen?
Will it be a good result?
Will it be a bad result?

Than, after all the waiting, the blood, sweat and tears, anxiety, palpitations, it finally starts.

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES.

God, I love X-FACTOR.

Uafa have bottled it! City can play new signings in the CL but can only name a 21 man sqaud for the competition plus only spend 49 million this summe above what they bring in from players sold, Is that all? How will they manage. Uafa have once again let them self and all else down and shown them self's to be no match for the money men who run football in reality.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Where are the premier league, they are even bigger bottlers.
