Apparently according to MailSport (don't ask me how reliable this source is) pep wants to wait till arsene retires to take over Arsenal, now I'm pretty sure I know what answer I'll get but ed's is there ANY truth in that lol? And by any truth it could be that he likes arsenals playing style lol.

{Ed002's Note - If he does it would then make sense he extends his contract at Bayern Munich for another year so that he leaves at the same time as Wenger - right now that is most unlikely. He will be considering options having rejected two offers already.}

Pep does love a subarticle in between jobs, so might have more legs than people think.

As you say, he could take a sabbatical for a year, until Wenger retires, or sign a one year contract extension at Bayern, which they are not keen on as they want Pep to sign on for at least 2 or 3 years.

It's not impossible and would suit all party's, . Don't forget we pay top when it comes to coaches/managers.

Very true, he does like his time to reflect. I was expecting ed002 to shoot me down straight away with a big fat "No" but apparently there is the possibility of him managing us, perfect replacement in my eyes.

If it comes down to wages we'll lose out but if its the base of a team that's similar to his style of play already and sense of achievement he wants?

Managed to pick up a cheap Mourinho Chelsea mug earlier on line, think he plays right wing.

{Ed025's Note - good stuff mate..

With all the talk of managers going on at the moment it got me thinking who should be our next manager?

If it's true that Wenger had to be convinced to stay on for this season it would be logical to assume this season, or the one after, will be his last.

Personally I'd love to see Ancelotti in charge. How about everyone else?

Eds any info you can throw in would be much appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - As I have explained over and over agisn, Wenger will leave in the Summer of 2017.}

If that's the case ed wouldn't make more sence for guardiola to come here think he will be a great successsor to wenger and he is young. I know we prob won't get another service man like wenger again but i can't see us like other clubs that are going to be recruiting managers every 4 years or so. going to be a sad time for us fans who ever comes in i think.

So, how confident are you all? After flattering to deceive for so many years I think this could be the year you win the title. It seems most teams are dong their best not to win it so the game against City could be pivotal. Chelsea are in disarray, we are trying not to lose (as opposed to trying to win) , and City are erratic right now. Liverpool and Spurs aren't good enough so ultimately it looks like you or City.

Personally, if we can't win it then I hope you do. We've always played football the right way but right now watching United is like watching paint dry. You boys play great football and ultimately for most of us, this is the most important thing.

So, can you do it this year?

Hi AJH mate good to hear from you, as things look right now if we can't win it this season we never will but I think the January window will be key to the final positions.
Leicester every one expects to fall away but the next 3 games will tell us a lot about how likely that is to happen.
City have faltered and seem to be stumbling their way through the season so far but let's see if Pelgrini will be allowed to strengthen in January.
Then there's your self's :-) awful but not a, million miles off the sluggish pace as we stand, an excellent January could change your season and Lvgs chances of staying beyond May.
Us? I've no idea, what we will do in January stick as we are or add the players we should have got in the summer, time will tell I guess but as things stand we will never have a better chance than this season mate.

Morning AJH,
You are correct mate. We have a very good chance of winning the league, in fact, if us (or City) go on a 15 match run (10 wins, 3 draws, 2 defeats) , we (or City) could wrap the league up with 6/7 games to spare.

I'm not going to make excuses with injuries, City get them too, but we need to get players off the treatment table, and keep them off.

If we don't win I would like you boys to win it.
That would do wonders for my insomnia, lol.

Too bad we left a couple of easier points on the table the last couple of weeks after getting the lead, no point looking back but with our lack of finish the last few years the cushion would have been nice. Its going to be toight!

Agree with that Rooster.

Should have done better at Norwich and Brom.

Just a shame our best chance falls at a time when the competition is poor, yes I would love it but hope we can build to win a strong league.

West brom, Norwich and even the summer window are in the past now, its what we do in the future that matters, hope January is as good at least if not better for Arsenal than for our rivals.
Hard to think when our chances will ever be better than now.

Would you bring back Alexis Sanchez on Monday night? Or would you let him rest a bit longer?

I'd rest him further, I'd rather he missed this game then come bcc and miss a further 3/4 because we rushed him back.
