I know he's a Liverpool player now but still sad to hear the Ox will miss most of this season because of the injury he picked up last season.
Good lad the Ox on and off the pitch.

Agree gunner but a few of us called it. He will be, sadly, like wilshire, blighted by injury.

Up until that injury his Liverpool career seemed injury free Steve mate, hopefully it's just one bad one for the lad.
I know his Arsenal record wasn't that good on the injury front but I think that was an Arsenal thing more than a personal things as we were inundated with injuries for 7 or 8 seasons with numerous players missing for long periods each season.

No surprise when an injury prone player gets injured. George Graham looked at the injury history of a player before signing them. Hence, why Emery has let Wilshere go, as it's only a matter of time before he suffers injury again. Under Wenger, many players who were susceptible to injury were retained at huge financial cost to the club; Cazorla, Diaby, Rosicky come to mind.

Were the players injury prone or was it the club and it's methods that were injury prone?
Ox has had one injury at Liverpool which unfortunately is a serious one but prior to that he had his best run of both form and fitness in his first season at Liverpool.
How many consecutive games did he play at Liverpool before his injury?
What was his best run at Arsenal in all his years with us?
Our poor record on injury has been well documented over the years and with Dicks training methods hopefully that's something that will change.
As for George well he wasn't one for excuses or molly codling and niether is Jurgen Klopp who told Danny Sturridge that sometimes it's natural to play through pain.

Ive always said it gunner, it was also the type of player we signed. We all knew about sanchez's fitness before he came and he was always going to be a strong reliable player. can't always be said for some of the others.

Malcom om his way to Everton. Seri in Fulham. I guess they weren’t serious targets after all. Or did we just fail at negotiations?

I thought we really needed a winger like Malcom?

How about west hams signings so far. Should we fair them this year?

It's all about the head to head battles for us because all we can control and I don't think we should fear anyone but respect everyone totally and equally. Man u or Brighton, Bournemouth or Liverpool they are all 3pt available but all have to be fought for and won, no gimmes and no lost causes in my opinion.
I think Dick will have the players focused 100% whoever we play and that will be brilliant to see.
