I wonder if Wenger was the reason he never made it at Chelsea also, and why real Madrid let him go, and also why he was without a club for a while?
He was a very very good player, but was very impatient when with us, flamini was immense that season and if I remember Diarra played quite a few times at right back for us and got fed up. good player but looking at his career make you wonder if he had a bit of an attitude.
{Ed001's Note - he has an attitude problem, that is why he never made it at Arsenal, among other clubs, nothing to do with Wenger. I am sure being brought down a peg or two having to scratch around for a club will have helped get him on track, but he still has that potential to just not bother when he doesn't feel like it.}

eds not like he got a move to real madrid for a nice fee and was class for portsmouth. i don't think he scratched around pompey payed him a lot of money. they said the same about pogba. i see it more of he knows how good he is and wonders why he isn't playing?
hes better than arteta. flamini. mikel etc.
