{Ed002's Note - Following a discussion yesterday my understanding is that the club are to brief the media at midday on Friday and that briefing will be regarding recent performances and that could well extend to some changes being made.}

If true, comon Bayern Munich for the champions league this season.
Bayern champions of Europe again under Arsene Wenger and Arsenal top 4 again under Dick.
What a fantastic season that would be and a brilliant fresh start for both Arsene and Arsenal at the first time of asking :-)
We can all dream of perfect endings :-)

I would love to see him get a top job like that but I would of thought he's the last person they would go for, we were absolutely terrible everytime we played them! Hardly a good audition! 😂.

His football philosophy isn't a million miles away from Peps and without being allowed to to run the club from top to bottom and not listen to anyone else about anything maybe they would gamble on him being able to do one job really well still instead of everything really poorly.

If he wasn't allowed to stop players tackling in training or any of the other strange stuff maybe they think he can revert back to the man who first joined Arsenal all those years ago.
When he inherited the George foundations he was able to build something pretty special on them.

That West ham deal riles me, they must pay that rent in 2/ 3 home games tickets. The LLDC are muppets, how did they agree to such a low rent for such a long time? Had it been a short term deal they might now be in a position to sell it to Khan or similar get the tax payers money back and put it in to sport development or something useful rather than just giving west ham an easy ride, who just seem to moan about how tough it all is for them the whole time! That's the most grating thing.

What do West Ham charge as average entry fee per game, £25?
Over the 19 games it works out less than £3 per fan per game goes towards renting a state of the art stadium.
With no outlay needed West ham have been given an unfair advantage over every other club in the country who would have to go into serious debt to build a stadium that doubled their crowd capacity.
But having said all that I'm not sure what else could have been done with the stadium, other than knock it down and build much needed social housing in the area I'm struggling to come up with a sensible idea.

I think, that the LLDC pays for stewarding etc as well, ridiculous! I remember after all that crowd trouble and a need for extra stewards, they expected them to fork out for that too! 😂 Would sadiq Khan not be interested, now he's pulled out of Wembley? Maybe it's not fit for NFL?

But millions had to be spent to make it fit for football and its still not a good fit! I love a good global sporting event, but they are insane! Countries fall over themselves to host them, spend billions on state of the art stadia for a few weeks of games and they often have no use after, madness!
