Chin up chaps. Florence is amazing. Parga next month, then who knows in June. May throw a little special one in if we are triumphant.

Ps if anyone comes to Florence, try out a restaurant called Ora D'Aria. V good to relax and enjoy last nights marvellous victory.

Right a couple of things!
If we don't finish 3rd given city's draw and our laughable run in (I mean on paper it's p**s easy) then we really need to wrap up!

Also mourinho. Always hated the thought of him been in our club for the things he has said about wenger! But then I have now said similar things so I can't be a hypocrite when in principle I now agree (to a degree) as do a lot of other posters on here and have also renounced the idea of him in the club!

So let's now re-evaluate that notion and list the positives .

Here's mine.
First and foremost
1.hes a winner
2.he would love to prove the big boasts and usurp wenger
3. He attracts star players and has a bit of the Xfactor (until his recent demise)
4. He would spend! He would insist (phew because some money needs to spent .
5. The likes of griezman, aubameyang, reus, benzema, pogba even?! Could now be a realistic signing

So what you think guys? Any other positive points guys? Please chime in.

Not sure maureens the right fit for this "club" he is current and he does understand the modern game but he doesn't trust youth, that's why he would be poor at man u to, psg perfect for him. Saying that we could do a lot worse but I would take quite a few in front of him. He sets teams up to do the job and doesn't suffer fools either but for me he would be short term, in win a few trophies and upset the applecart and out. I think keoman is a better fit, if simeone could do a crash course in english, he would be better and maybe de boer and bergy would be too. Wengers crown has slipped and he's way out of his depth now with his one dimentional style, we are sitting ducks for any young current boss who studies tactics and our set up. Its not desperation wanting maureen but its fantasy, he ain't coming to the emerates.

20 Apr 2016 07:01:55
I just think after this season and where we are now I'd see it as the least risky option and he is available . I like simione as well but other good options all seem a bit pie in the sky at the moment.

Maureen is damaged goods now IMO, look what he done at Chelsea totally alienated the squad that he largely built and turned them from title favs to damn near relagation threatened until Hiddick stepped in. He has let is ego and arrogance get the better of him know and as lost his way in terms of man management. It will be massive mistake if Manchester United hired him in my opinion and he would be a even worse fit for us.

Agree0 Disagree6

20 Apr 2016 01:15:16
Dags as ed01 said, there was a lot more to it than that, we all know that football is an emotive sport and we all try to temper ourselves in relation to that when feelings run high.

It was simply ridiculous to dig them both out over something he clearly knew next to nothing about.

It has disappointed a lot of other posters that we no longer get the information that we did.

To be honest mate, albeit I'm not sure how much difference it would have made, but an apology wouldn't have gone amiss as opposed to bragging the other day that he got banned.

It's individuals needlessly ruining things for many others.

Firstly I think the thing that Derby has overlooked/ forgotten is that the Eds provide this service not only for free but also to provide information to the best of their knowledge for those who enjoy reading it and with that in mind it is of course totally disrespectful to question that information wether you agree with it or not.
When it comes to questions being answered by or articles posted by the Eds its rude to question that information no matter if you personally disagree with it, on the other hand if a poster puts up a post for general conversation and not aimed at any Ed and an Ed choses join in the conversation and offer their opinion (always very welcome by everyone I'm absolutely certain) then I see absolutely nothing wrong with disagreeing with an Ed on a matter of opinion.
IMO where Derby got it very wrong was to question the Eds knowledge and contacts not their personal opinion.
Derby is a really decent bloke who is a football fantasist who fancies himself as a scout, come manager come pundit and tips hundreds players each season for superstardom then congratulates himself way too much w the very few he gets right ( Kane) and conveniently forgets those who are less than successful ( Benteke Bony ect :-) but there is no mallace in the man just flawed distinction between the real world and the one he enjoys in his own head where he is a pundit and manager and super scout extraordinaire :-) .
Derby mate its irrelevant whether the Eds decide to start providing information again or not but you do owe them and the posters who's enjoyment has been spoilt by the offence your replys to the information from the Eds have caused mate.
It may make absolutely no difference wethger you apologies or not to the running of this page but it's absolutely the right thing to do mate regardless.

So, finishing first is virtually impossible and second place is also highly unlikely. Hopefully, we will somehow manage to win our remaining home matches and pick up a couple of away draws, which should be enough to secure third spot, despite both Manchester clubs getting some decent recent results. In respect of both Manchester clubs, they have cup matches which may hinder their league performances. 4th place doesn't guarantee a CL place, in the event either Man City or Liverpool win their European trophy, then I believe they secure the 4th spot, even if they are outside of the PL top 4.
I have generally been a supporter of Wenger staying, but this support is declining, as he appears to have a group of players that are not performing anywhere near their true ability, don't forget we have not lost a match to either Leicester or the Toot this season. With the players likely to go this summer we need 5 or 6 replacements which shows the mistake Wenger has made over the last few windows in not recruiting earlier. We will lose the following players for sure; Debuchy, Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky. Whilst the likes of Gibbs, Ox and Walcott look unhappy at the club and that's down to Wenger.
I must admit that our form in 2016 has led me to withdraw my support for Wenger and pray that Mourinho hasn't signed for Man U and we slip in and secure his services. He would restore the passion that we require. The problem, as I have stated previously, is that either Wenger lingers on next season, with 2 or 3 signings at best and then we replace him poorly, as the big hitters are all in top jobs.

All the big hitters? Was Pochettino or Koeman a big hitter last season. I would fancy both of these to get a lot out of the current Arsenal squad. I'm not anti Wenger especially, but he has to go at some point and I can't really see him taking the club any further.

For the record I'm not a fan of Klopp's style of football and I don't think Pep is a long term bet either.

If Liverpool win the Europa league the epl will have 5 teams in next years champs league the only situation where fourth place loses its cl spot is if man city win the cl but finish 5th and Liverpool win the europa if Liverpool fail to win the Europa league but man city win the cl but finish 5th we would have the top 5 all in the cl its only a problem if city win and finish 5th and Liverpool win the europa as the maximum amount of teams allowed in the cl from 1 country is 5.
