Intriguing final 3 weeks of the window, as we see who departs, likely:
Ospina
Perez
Akpom
Welbeck
Jenkinson
Campbell
Ramsey (if no deal agreed)

Assuming we sell the above I expect one more signing or two if Ramsey moves.
One a wide player and the second a direct replacement for Ramsey.

Which two players who could realistically be signed, would fellow Gooners like for these positions?

I'd would be such a shame to see Ramsey leave now, in his prime, especially when Dick has said he wants the team built around him.

If Ramsey was to leave I wouldn't have a clue who to replace him with, we have only been linked with destructive minded midfielders, on his day Ramsey is an amazing box to box player, would he hard to replace and day by day will be even harder to buy someone of that calibre.

A wide player I'd have loved would be Malcolm, he looks the business. Pavon looked good at the world cup but that makes players twice as expensive.

One player I really wouldn't want is Kingsley Coman, he's been at some of the very best in Europe and played little and when he did scored and assisted even less, at the reported £50m price tag, it isn't a good deal for me.

Could that money get you Douglas Costa? Now that's a player.

I would hate to see Ramsey go, would be impossible to replace (and would make us look like fools for letting Wilshere go on a free the same summer) .

I feel like moving Welbeck on would leave us short in-depth up front and on the wings. Given he's homegrown he would also be difficult to replace easily without leaving gaps in the squad list.

Would be surprised to see Douglas Costa move on this summer, his loan was only made permanent this month. He's also 27 - given we have quite a few attacking players in their mid-/ late- twenties I'd rather see us go for someone younger.

If Ospina, Perez, Akpom, Jenkinson and Campbell, that would only leave 3 spaces for over-21 players in our Prem registration list, although 1 of those would have to be homegrown.

Even if we keep Welbeck and Ramsey, I feel we could do with a young exciting player in attack, although that might just be me being subliminally targeted by the months of being linked with the likes of Malcom, Martins, Dembele, Coman, etc etc.

Max Meyer on a free would be exciting if we can afford his wages, I guess.

Ramsey’s trying to get every last bit he can out of this new contract, he’ll eventually sign. As for more Signings I’m not sure why anyone of sound mind would expect Arsenal to do more business in terms of buying. Ornstein has stated we’re done and Emery essentially has too. Sell off the players surplus to requirements and let’s see what this squad is capable of.

That's the problem with doing your business early, the fans get bored waiting for the season to start and start wanting just one more player.
What are Ramsey options? That's what will decide things because if he was 100% Arsenal focused and uninterested in anyone else the deal would be done already.
Aaron rates himself highly so is probably waiting to see if Real Barcelona PSG City United Chelsea Liverpool come in for him.
He's a very good player on his day but I'm not sure it's his day often enough to attract huge bids and wages from elsewhere. Although next summer for free he may find he's more sort after.

G62 you are wrong about that. he could be 100% focused on Arsenal and still remain without a new contract because Arsenal are notoriously stingy when it comes to wage negotiations. He’s attempting, probably because this will be his best chance to “break the bank”, to maximize his payday and by holding out as long as possible he knows it will become more and more of a challenge for Arsenal to a) find a suitable replacement and b) secure a fee they think is appropriate for a player of Ramsey’s caliber, therefore strengthening his position in his demands.

I agree 100% gunner, there has been rumours in the past of Barcelona interest, i wonder how much it has to do with his dallying.

We will only find out for sure if an offer comes in from a rival big club, if United Liverpool or Chelsea make a move then we will know how Aaron really feels.
We've never had this will he won't he from Kos and he had good offers from Bayern and othes plus is on way below par wages compered to what Jack Theo and others were on, but he stayed despite the money and competitiveness he could have had elsewhere, talk is cheap it's a players actions that ultimately says it all.

Some players aren’t as motivated by the money— eg Kane, some players are—eg Neymar. Something tells me upper management would’ve been clued in long before a few weeks to go In the transfer window that Ramsey wanted to sign elsewhere, and if that were the case he would’ve already been sold. We’re not exactly talking about a world class player like Alexis who they tried to hold on to as desperately as they did because he was just so much better than anyone else on the squad. We’re talking about a good player, who has dealt with injuries every season he’s been here. I don’t think any of the larger clubs are going to come beating down the door for his services. If he’s moving it’s to a club like Lazio, not like Barcelona.

We have all been here before with players stalling on their contracts, some stop and some dont. Until he signs, he isn't stopping. The club will wait so long, i'm sure they have an idea but i'm also sure that's why they are sounding out replacements for him.

A lot of people rate him Q and some think he's well over rated, his best bits are good no question but he needs playing in an advanced Mesut role to see the best of him on a regular basis because in central midfield he picks and chooses if and when he puts in a shift or not.
If we didn't have Mesut he'd be an ideal substitute for him and clubs who could use someone in that role might be prepared to give him that job especially if they use euro 2016 to measure him by when he looked excellent there.
