Told you once I bet Leicester it was dropped points. Lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 22:38:48
Win our next 2 and were joint top atleast :-) but fail to win either and we could very easily be locked in a 4th/ 5th place battle with utd :- (
Over to you with double jam on it Arsene :-)

01 Mar 2016 22:49:54
Its still close and lots can happen. As they say its not over until the old lady sings. "I think that's the say right? "

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - fat lady moe...but damn good try mate..

01 Mar 2016 22:54:28
Damn I thought I got it wrong some where along the line lol. Thanks ed25.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - no probs moe..

01 Mar 2016 23:53:51
We need 2 big performances and 2 wins now to still have a real shout, will not be easy but the players have got to start showing what they made of and prove they really want it.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Mar 2016 00:22:51
Hey darren were you betting on Arsenal lately?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Mar 2016 01:22:37
Unfortunately yes I promise only to bet against then from now on or never at all. I did have them by over two goals against the Greeks. I am only betting Tottenham and Leicester moneyline from now on still plenty of Tim for me to ruin there seasons. Lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 23:03:11
Ed,
Where Moe comes from maybe they don't have fat ladies, just old ones?
Just a thought :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Mar 2016 07:35:32
He must come from gala bingo then dags.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 21:56:20
Good result for you boys tonight Ed025 but in this most open to all premier league seasons ever do you feel your boys have underachieved a bit too mate?
To me you look far way to good to be mid table.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - we have underachieved G62, to be fair most of the prem clubs could say the same except spurs, leicester and maybe watford, its been a funny old season mate and we like you really will have "could do better" on our end of term report, a tale of 2 managers who have made glaring errors imo..

01 Mar 2016 22:18:03
Absolutely mate you've some cracking players who if you can retain and are added to wisely could make you a real force next season, obviously you've a couple of not so hot ones too :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - 2 or 3 upgrades and maybe a new manager and i believe we will be good to go G62, but lukaku looks likely to leave which would be a major blow mate..

01 Mar 2016 22:53:06
Lukaku Stones Barkley Deulofeu IMO need to be retained if your not to go back to square 1 mate, keep them plus add a very decent keeper and MF player and Bob's your best mates uncles cousin once removed as they say where I come from:-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - wanting and getting them to stay are 2 different things mate..

01 Mar 2016 23:23:36
Sad but true mate, as a football fan I hope you keep them but as an Arsenal fan I hope we take all 4 off you in return for Mertesacker Flamini Theo and Theo :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - good luck brokering that swap deal mate.. :)

02 Mar 2016 09:43:58
Reckon you're being a bit harsh not including West Ham in that list ed? I've enjoyed watching them play this season :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - yeah TPG i missed them out, they have done really well this season under bilic and payet looks absolute quality mate, for me its between him and mahrez who has been the best signing of the season..

01 Mar 2016 21:45:34
Told you guys I played Leicester money line and I lost. Mush is here Tottenham next.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 22:02:40
Darren,
Keep that bad luck going mate :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 22:23:28
Don't worry tough to bet against Arsenal but I may have to do it for the greater good.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - keep it going..jonah.. :)

01 Mar 2016 22:03:00
Id rather they had lost before kante is back. They showed again they can come from a goal down. The secret. Drink water.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 21:40:38
Hey peeps,
I have been really disappointed, frustrated and angry lately do to our team display as most of you are on here.
If we don't win the league I hope we won't reach the champions league just so the whole team from board to manager to coaching team to the players. I know I'm being harsh but what chance have we got in the CL except the money we get.
Another thing, I have been really disappointed with ramsey, walcott, the ox, well the whole bloody team to be honest, but ramsey for the love of god just play the simple game and pass the ball quicker. Le coq need to learn those long passes and how to change play. I know we are all le coq fans as its the best we had in the possition in a while.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 22:08:38
Moe,
Whilst I understand your sentiment, I would never wish for us not to qualify for CL.

We have to keep the support going, irrespective of feelings.

I agree, that if we don't win the league, changes need to be made, be it managerial or playing staff, but the support must continue and we need qualification to CL for monetary reasons and to keep us 'attractive' to any (possible) incoming new arrivals.

Keep the faith mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 22:46:30
I'm just being too worried that our season goal is just to qualify for the CL dags. I don't see the hunget in the team nor the management anymore. And obviously I'm talking out of frustration not something that I really wish to our team.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Mar 2016 07:59:28
Typical Arsenal mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 16:09:12
What's happened to G-nab? We recalled him from west brom n now he's gone missing.

We haven't much cover for the wings now aswel as the striker roll.

Everyone talks of utds injuries but we haven't exactly been let off lightly this season either (again)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 16:46:09
Utd still have another 7 years of talking up their injuries to use up but I'm afraid we've used up our quota and them some so that's no longer an option for us Je mate, West Ham and Spurs have out bid us for the rights to use the stadium as an excuse too now so Arssne has tried to introduced a brand new tapping up excuse but after Sunday that one lost all credibility on its madain voyage as the nation spoke with one voice when it asked " who in their right mind would tap any of that lot up "
Rumour has it we're looking to launch a while new extensive range of chic designer excuses in time for 2016/ 17 season funny enough its called " 4th place by Arsene because your worth it " :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 16:56:41
Now that's spooky, he is in the training pictures with the first team today in prep for tomorrow's game.

First time I've seen him in them since he came back from WBA. :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 17:41:48
G62,
That cracked me up :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 18:55:02
So should we lose to spurs on Saturday effectively ending any chance we realistically have of finishing above them and accept our place in their shadow w like real men with great dignity?
Or
Should we be really childish and immature and find every reason we can think of to totally debunk this season as not really counting as all the big boys Chelsea utd city and our self weren't rally trying?
I know which one I'm up for :*) na na nan na na.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 19:24:20
If we win, we should herald it as the greatest achievement in world football.

If we lose, than "Pah, Mickey Mouse Trophy".

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 19:56:45
Sounds fair to me Dags :*)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 20:06:08
Gentlemen, come on don't loose the spirit. There's 11 games left.

Ps can you give me some ideas for excuses if you win on Sunday? Lasagnagate?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 20:07:32
Oops I did mean Saturday. 🙄.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 20:21:52
If we win on Saturdays North east mate there will be no room for excuses it will be all about class shining through, on the other hand :-)
You might outplay us but you'll never out excuses us mate :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 20:25:14
Lol G, no excuse just putting it out there ;)

Red that's a relief, was about to get the torch out.
Hopefully he's squad bound for tomorrow's game, he looked really promising then arsene mistakingly handed him over to pulis.

Hopefully after tomorrow's game we'll be feeling a little more positive NE, then it's game on! ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 20:50:43
And its Ars-en-al, Arsenal FC, we've by far the greatest excuses the world has ever heard :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 21:09:55
NES,
What about Ravergate? :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 21:13:58
That's catchy G lol

Excuse fc.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 16:47:53
Im a massive fan. But he needs his hunger back for football and not food.

He Hit the point where he did well got his 30k a week. Players go two ways after that. Relax in a Bentley or go push for more

Him fully fit and trim is well like a new signing. Yes I said it.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 14:38:28
Ok guys I am going to take one for the team or maybe two. I am betting money line on Leicester and Tottenham this is the only way we can guarantee they both lose.

I am putting my betting curse on those two teams. Hope I lose LOL. They don't call me Mush for nothing. Good Luck Leicester and Tottenham, but i believe your streak ends here.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 15:14:43
It's just nice to have arsenal fans having to bet on Tottenham for the title. You and I thought you would never have to do that but Tottenham are on the up and are going to get bigger once we move into our new stadium.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - yeah but where will you find a 6.000 all seater stadium for all the regular supporters raver?.. :)

01 Mar 2016 16:44:44
Your really excited ain't you raver. Speaking from experience it feels good.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - how would raver know SLB?...he would have to be 85 years old to remember spurs being in contention for anything.. :)

01 Mar 2016 17:07:51
Sanagi, it does feel good to be London's number 1 club playing excellent football. How's the champions league going sanago lol.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 19:35:23
I'm not having a dig I can tell your really happy! Just be careful though not to crow so loudly there's a long way to go and the slice of humble pie will soon be to large for you to eat all in one go! In saying that it's yours to loose.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 20:44:22
The housewives will be happy if Spurs win it. They love seeing a mid table underdog rise above the norm.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 13:08:46
Just got to say I feel a whole lot better today after two of wengers quotes. " let's use all this unjustified negativity and turn it into a positive to win the league" yes that should do it. And " why all the over the top negativity, we fight for the league not relegation" yes well you got half right arsrne. Reminds me of the war and Winston Churchill, not that I remember that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 14:11:29
If that's the way he genuinely see's it fair enough but it just shows yet again how detached he is from the real world of football outside his own cosy little world of the Emerirates stadium.
If on the other hand he sees what all see but is trying to boost his troops then maybe he should try a different approach for once by telling them how badly they let the club and fans down and if they can't win the premier league title this season of all seasons its time he and they all packed up and moved on else where.
You never know a bit of accountability might just work wonders as it's the only thing that hasn't been tried up to now.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 17:20:34
Wenger is trying to take the pressure off his players.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - hed be better taking their wages off them after sundays debacle N/E .. :)

01 Mar 2016 18:18:31
Didn't see the match Ed, I had important gardening to do!

My business partner is a red, and I had the full break down of events, Monday. Poor thing.

I'm sure that you'll bounce back boys. In Wenger we trust.

In all honesty he's been an amazing servant for you lot, but I think it's time for him to move on an keep what left of his dynasty he has left in tact. Problem is, who do you get?

And spending money doesn't always get results.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 17:44:10
I like that Ed :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 09:26:06
How good is this guy Pauolo Dybala. Forget Aubamayang or Cavani, should've signed him this season, missed out big time. As good as Aguero in a few years IMO.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 11:38:41
Dybala is class Wesley. Really rate him. I do love Aubameyang though! Maybe has a bad attitude but he eats the ground in front of him and has a good finish.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - "eats the ground in front of him and has a good finish"...sounds like a cross between a donkey and a front door to me mate.. :)

01 Mar 2016 13:11:50
Well according to the papers we are getting aubameyang and higuain this summer. can't wait. Its true it wasn't the sun.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 12:47:48
Sounds like a male porn star to me ed! :-)

01 Mar 2016 12:54:03
You are on form today ed. Brilliant. Have you been sent on here by wengerxto cheer us up.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - well you lot do need a bit of a lift steve..

01 Mar 2016 13:34:05
Ahhhh ed my sides are splitting 😂 Lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 14:21:01
You sure you don't want to our new manager Ed? We could do with you full time mate :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im far too exciting for arsenal G62..and cant speak a word of french mate.. :)

01 Mar 2016 15:26:56
A touch of Scouse would do our players no harm at all Ed mate, they've had far too much Sacha Distel already :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - but its not nice to see a frenchman on 4 bricks G62.. :)

01 Mar 2016 16:25:55
I dunno Ed :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 08:44:29
Massive matches this week, we really need two wins. Hopefully we will get going against Swansea at home tomorrow and follow it up with a win at Tottenham. I believe Tottenham have a very tricky match at West Ham and will start to feel the effects of playing matches with little rest between them, particularly as their 'style' of football depends upon a pressing game.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2016 11:43:15
RG,
That, in a nutshell, is our problem.

We have to rely on other teams, like Spurs and Leicester to self implode, as opposed to us winning on merit like Chelsea did last season.

Lately I have been looking at Spurs, Leicester and Man City's remaining games, hoping they will slip up, as opposed to looking at our fixtures.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 13:13:08
Dags last night I was looking at man u's.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 14:25:11
We can still make 84 points on our own merits lads, extremely difficult also extremely unlikely but it can be done if everyone rolls their sleeves up and gives absolutely everything for the last 11 games.
OK Dags back to what you were saying about other teams imploding :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 01:48:47
Roll on 16 march, the return of our pivot, our creator, our last hope of getting our shit together Mr Carzola.
Badly missed little fella, let's speed up the transition in the middle of the park.
This man can win us the title ladies and gentlemen.

Noely.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

01 Mar 2016 07:37:04
I think your right! But we must stay in touch until then. We must beat Spurs.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2016 11:36:41
I think we have missed Cazorla massively. More often than not a players importance is felt more once their missing, never has this been more true than in Cazorla's case. The team seemed so much more deadly with Cazorla and Coquelin in the middle, Ramsey out wide right with Bellerin over-lapping. i'm not saying Ramsey is a right winger, but he cut in and added numbers to the creative element, and Bellerin owned the space left behind. I think we will see our fortunes turn around once this magician returns.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - if hes a magician lefty...lets hope he can make some of these under performers disappear mate.. :)

01 Mar 2016 12:54:07
do u remember how long it took caz to return to form after his last injury people wanted him out at certain times? i would be surprised if we see him play well again in an arsenal shirt. people tend to forget it takes a player 3/ 4 weeks to get match sharp again but unfourtunity you can't wait for that at this point in the season, look at sanchez and wallcott both have been terrible since coming back from injury this year i don't think caz wuill be any different. yhen he will be off in the summer.
