Blimey Ed, were you good or were Toffee's bad?

{Ed001's Note - both, and a bit of us making them look worse.}

21 Apr 2016 06:46:02
This northeast spur amuses me, clearly a closet gooner, who spends a disturbing amount of time on the Arsenal site!
Let's hope Leicester finish top and all the toot will have to crow about is finishing above us for the first time in decades. Never mind having been knocked out of the League Cup at home by Arsenal, going out at an earlier stage in the FA Cup than Arsenal and only competing in the inferior EL, compared to us in the CL.
I have a feeling there will be more pain at the lane. It will be interesting to see how smaller clubs, such as Leicester and the Toot do next season, when they have the heavy demands of CL football, more players returning from having played in the summer in a major international tournament and higher expectations in general,

Agree3 Disagree0

21 Apr 2016 09:10:37
I honestly don't think Leicester winning the league would bother them. They are clearly in the mindset of its the taking part that counts and the enjoy the ride mentality and who can blame them as Spurs fans they know not to expect to much and this season has been a brilliant season for them. Every dog has his day and it's.

NES replying to a post isn't nibbling it's called replying strangely enough. You know as we all know that this is a one off. I remember the last time you lot finished above us and all the spuds were going on like you are now and I said back then it will be the first and last time for another 20 years and it will be the same again this time. It will be exiting for you it's the equivalent of having 4 Christmases in a century so your celebration is well deserved. But to be fair you must be a fair weather fan because we have only heard from you for the past few months. Just imagine if we came over yours for a good laugh every time. Well that wouldn't happen because to us Arsenal fans beating you and having a better season is no big deal. And I'm all for banter but yours isn't really banter you write the same thing every day and i suspect anyone sad enough to do it on another page would be banned but I suspect someone is letting it slide for what reason I don't know or really care but when I have been a saddo and posted similar to what you post on rival pages it never gets posted? Hmmm

Your like the annoying kid that has no wit or game who says I know you are you said you are but what am I! That's the level of your banter 0 on the intellectual scale.

Oh Dags, you can't possibly get 6th that would upset everyone. We're all hoping 5th is your place this season, in a year you all claimed 1st was your destiny.

Thursday night is always a curry night, you lot will certainly have the s***s if that happens.

Sly Sports going up £2.50 per month (taking it to £32) .

Ouch.

G62,
I have a very very good streaming site that shows all matches on Sky and BT for nothing.

Even has SS news channel.

Will tell you it if the Ed's OK it.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ok by me dags..

20 Apr 2016 17:34:33

It's Mobdro. very good site.
Shows all the Sky Sports and BT Sport's channels.

{Ed025's Note - i will give it a go mate...cheers..

20 Apr 2016 17:49:10
£2.50 per month eh!
I read that there are about 5 million Sky Sports subscribers. If that's true that's an extra
£12.5 million pound in the bank for them per month or £150 million a year.
I don't know if that s world wide I wouldn't think so I would have thought it would be more world wide.
Someone has to pay the players wages boys .
How does it feel? I know how I feel .
It's a scandal!

Agree0 Disagree3

{Ed025's Note - i got rid of them lanesra, bought a box for £180 (recordable) and pay £30 per year subscription, for that i get every sky channel + racing uk, sky box office, all the bt channels and setanta and box nation..its the way forward mate..

20 Apr 2016 18:02:33
Agree dags, the raver woke up this morning grumpy and down in the dumpy after too much binge drinking and then postman pat delivered my new sky bill I going up 4 quid a month. My new bill will be over 50 quid a month which is shocking and I might replace it with a bt box which you can add sky sports 1 and 2 and may be cheaper, no wonder the staff on sky sports news are always happy and dolled to the nines the raver is paying for it I will be in that Subaru car forever.

20 Apr 2016 18:27:16

20 Apr 2016 20:24:50
Sky will have to drop there prices soon. You have already seen them drop sky movie sub. It used to be as much as sports but who on earth in this day and age needs sky movies and it's rapidly becoming the same with sports! I have everything from movies to tv series on download and in full hd and I can watch it on any tv in the house. I do believe bt offer decent value for money if you get the broadband but still these company's have had our pants down for years.

20 Apr 2016 20:34:10

Seriously Dags, very good and very free. Movies, sport ppv etc

Just don't know how I could pass the info to you?

Firestick are a one off £35.

Gunner you could even watch Will Hay movies, weren't they about when you were a young whipper snapper? ;-D.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - if you have an old Android phone, you can get a cable to connect that to the TV and download Kodi for about a fiver for the cable.}

20 Apr 2016 22:08:29
Dags if you can ask ed to pass me your email I will forward info matey. V good 👍🏻.

Good point Sanogo.

Bambam, £5 per month?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i will post the info on sunday mate..

20 Apr 2016 22:47:15
Or ed, could you download 'adbfire app' to your PC then side load a program to the fire stick? hyperthetically speaking you'd would possibly then need to search for 'htpc beginner' fire stick 'instructions' on the net and follow guidance? To create links for sport and movies? 😜.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Apr 2016 06:20:18
I'd like to know what that box is Ed sounds good thanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i will have more info at the weekend and post the details stephen..

23 Apr 2016 11:04:14
I believe the Andriod TV boxes sold legally on Amazon (and many other great retailers) for about 40 pounds are superb and come with this Kodi and other apps pre loaded. Sounds like you can watch all the sport, including Saturday 3pm kick offs. I say this as an observer as I don't do Andriod only IOS.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about them boxes epping, but the firesticks are good with kodi on them, but are dependent on very good broadband mate..

20 Apr 2016 16:23:39
I have composed a ode to the tune of nicknack paddywack for the eds.
Ed002, we love you, please come back and love us too,
With a nick nack paddy whack give a fan a bone, this old gooner'll never moan.
Ed001, please don't run, we appreciate all you've done
With a nick nack.
Ed25 here's a high five, altogether now time to jive
With a nick nack.

I know this is blatant sucking up and a desperate attempt to woo you back, but I had to try.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Great thanks, but I have no intention of provising any transfer or other information given that there is constant abuse of me and someone who does not have any intent to do anything other than to say anything I have provided is worthless.}

Not sure on the realisability but I read Arsene wasn't too sure on mahrez because he was unknown and would've been criticised. Whether that is true or not isn't relevant for this post. What I'm wondering is who honestly on here would've criticised him if he got mahrez in the summer for 400k. I know many would've. Just shows the price tag does not represent the talent of a player.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

20 Apr 2016 14:04:43
Personally I don't blame Arsene for not spotting Mahrez Kante or any other super bargain players like Vardy or Ali as its only the handful exceptions that make the headlines not 100s if not 1000s who don't ever make it and end up as poor investments even at £50 or £100,000 buying cheap is more of a gamble than buying players that have proved themselves over a period at other clubs hence they turn out to be a super bargins aposed to 50 million value for money players.
For me when you desperately need a player like a natural goal scorer you get the best you can both afford and get to agre to join you, if they are more proven than the one or ones you already have its the right thing to do at the time no matter how it turns out.
Torres was an unbelievable player at Liverpool and was at the time a fantastic buy for Chelsea it didn't work out great we all know now but at the time most people thought it was an awful lot of money but all the same Chelsea were getting an awful lot of player in return.
Being wise after the event is a much over celebrated useless skill which is why the jackpot for choosing last week's winning lottery numbers this week currently stands at 0 and is set to remain at that figure for the foreseeable past.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2016 20:19:34
I wonder how many players have been signed by a club aged 21 or over for under a million and gone on to appear in a champions league final or win premier league medal? In the last 10 years? I'm sure there must be some but I bet their outnumbered by 100- 1 by those who cost 10 million plus.
I just think it's easy to get carried away by the exceptionally brilliant bargin buys and lose track of why big clubs chose to pay 10s of millions to get the players they and lots of others want to chase the big prizes.
