It has been said on here that whether or not we go for Krychowiak is dependent on whether or not we're prepared to wait for Carvalho. If Flamini leaves, does that mean we've decided to get Krychowiak now? Are there any other targets ahead of him left on the market?

Could Jese Rodriguez be the forward we need? I did the homework on the european page - seems like he could leave but no mention of Arsenal interested. Seems like Real would rather loan him out so I think that would put us off. Also he's played mostly as a winger for Real and obviously we're looking at a striker. But Jese can play there too, in fact he's a very versatile player which is something Arsene likes. He's a great talent but ultimately unproven so would be a bit of a risk but he seems well suited for Arsenal as he has good technique and that versatility. Certainly a good option to keep in mind in my opinion.

Giroud and Walcott through the middle. Alexis, Chamberlain, Jese and Welbeck on the wings. I think that's a great pool of forwards and in theory 5 of these can play through the middle and 5 could play on the flanks.

As for dm I've been thinking this a lot. And maybe Chambers could be asked to play the role as a back-up for Coquelin? Now that Carvalho is injured he could be a viable short-term solution as we wait for our man to get fit again. If this happens we could instead move for a cb (Romagnoli?) and when we finally sign Carvalho (or any other dm we want) we can move Chambers back to cb and see if we want to offload someone as we'd then have 5 cb's. This obviously depends on if Chambers is ready to play dm which is left for Wenger to assess.

I think with the chances of signing a new DM looking slim, it well might be on AW's mind to play Chambers as the back up because Ramsey and Wilshere are more of box to box DM's and lack the kind of discipline we have seen in Le Coq. Also I think a striker will only be bought if the "right player" becomes available because it seems AW is banking on the cohesion of the team rather than going out and getting panic transfers done much like Liverpool are doing for a couple of season.

Personally what I saw last seadon from arteta, he must be world class in the changing room. We are in trouble if he is needed next season.

Cangun mate If it was me Arteta would have been long gone to Spain, But AW probably sees him as a good presence in the dressing room for the Spanish camp and also there was this recent video on arsenal media in which all players unanimously voted Arteta and BFG as the players that help them the most, BFG is also not in his prime but in an injury struck season he has been there throughout, sometimes poor but has the experience and we have to give him credit where it is due, Do you guys think we need a good prodigy in a CB? Or we really should go in the season with BFG as first preference and paulista as the back up?
