Banter Please -

Want to state this for the record before kick off:

Flamini's replacement: Morgan Schneiderlin

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would love him as flamini's replacement

Agree0 Disagree0

Very good player but under contract at southampton for another 4 years so can't see it myself.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love it! Will be able to see them both on the same pitch and compare!

Agree0 Disagree0

Take nothing away from Schneiderlin, he is a classy player.

however I would still go for the likes of Khedira, Gundogan, Lars/sven bender, pogba

if none of those are attainable then Schneiderlin would not be a bad option at all.

When I think of a player, I do not think if he will fit in the premier league, I think can he play among the best in the champions league.

I know a lot of you guys love Arteta, and I do too, but in the champions league against the best teams, I always find out he lacks a little bit of everything. its like Gareth barry vs ozil in 2010.

In short i'm not slighting any of our players. i'm behind them, but to be the best, you compare yourself to the best, and besides Ozil, and possibly the defenders and Ramsey, and an option with theo, Jack and Caz I do not see us going much deeper to the likes of Bayern, Barca, Madrid, even Juventus or chelsea.

To contend against those teams, we need the draxlers, the pogba's or Gundogans, and dare I say even the Alexander Pato's ( barring injruy)

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't this pre-suppose Flamini is going somewhere? I had assumed his contract was of a decent length and as he is playing like a man possessed why would we out him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Physio room shows pod as still being injured with no date given yet- has there been anything put out that he's fit again - because I surely hope so!

Our Lanvin suits for big matches are soo fresh. Wish we could wear them to every match

Draxler being linked with Arsenal everywhere - what a buy this would be to strengthen our left midfield / wing attacking side - we have seen Wilshere there this year but what would a specialist do to enhance our capabilities - can we get him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If you read his interviews lately, you can see that he likes Arsenal. On international duty, he says he speaks with Per and Ozil about the club and that they only have "nice things to say." Now, I'm no insider, but I'm guessing that if we were going to get him, it would be in the summer rather than January. I don't see us acquiring an outside mid/winger in January; plus, he says he doesn't want to leave in January

Ed don't know what happened there, pushed the wrong key and that post got sent before I'd finished, well I'm assuming it got sent. Doh.

Anyway was just saying how great things are going, think I was just saying that we have Santi getting back on form and the boys at the back producing.

I think we will definately get our hands on something in the way of silver wear and if we manage to finish above City it could be the big one.

Loving the team, loving Ozil, Jack will be back and great work Arsene and Bouldy.

If the initial post didn't get through then this will make zero sense I'm guessing.

Hope alls good with the rest of you gooners and nice to see Malaga with the 1st rumour for January. Would be good to see Metal, Gunner4life and Terry Mancini too.

Think it's safe to say the season is about to start for real and we have got our selves in a great position without our full but somewhat thin squad being fit and without playing at our best.

People talked of any easy start and to a degree it has been but we've still had to beat Liverpool and the spurs in the EPL and Marseille, Dortmund and Napoli in the UCL. The slip against Utd doesn't concern me at all, they played a game that has become all to familiar with them to beat us and so what. The likes of Stoke, Sunderland etc have done the same thing playing the same way. It does make me smile when they struggled early but now have had there little easy run and got points that there on to win the title again, you got to love the press.

The thing with this team is the spirit and fight they are putting in for each other. Flamini has been the buy of the season for me.

Ramsey has turned into the player that Wenger, who got him and Sir Alex who didn't, they thought he was going to be.

Santi is getting back to form, Kos and Per are looking so good and the proof in that is the displays against the SAS, Dortmund, Napoli, spurs etc.

Our guys have had a great collective International break with Mert scoring a beauty and Kos and Giroud getting to the World Cup.

I reckon diaby will go if he doesn't make a serious impact when he is fit
Arteta and Rosicky are approaching the twighlights of their careers
Which in turn means that we will only have wilshere Ramsey as definite starters so the probability of another cm coming in next summer is highly likely in my opinion

Can anyone answer this. Is there any truth that in training Bendtner has a ball with a bell fitted inside, as in blind football, so that he can learn how to find it? lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its an insult to blind people who all play better than him, the man can't tie his shoelaces.

Really like the new suits the players will be wearing for matches - class and tradition as well as solidarity.

Nice touch Wenger

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes. Very nice touch. Hopefully, they're selling them in the giftshop.
I'll make sure to get one whenever I'm in England
