Hi ed002, hope you're well

I could of got this all wrong, but did you say about 2 years ago that kroenke might be willing to sell his shares, once live streaming had been sorted out.

Have you any information on this.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed just yet - and the exchange rate hits him big time.}

Kronke won't have to worry about the exchange rate for too long once Trump's policies get going and destroy the greenback.

Nice to get a bit of perspective and to see that the grass is not always greener.
Not saying Liverpool are our yardstick but here's a thought ( pro-Wenger ckearly as it's from me! )

Indeed, Wenger is under severe pressure with a section of Arsenal fans demanding he leaves the club.

But Hamann, who thinks Liverpool must wake up, explained that he would happily take Arsenal's accomplishments in the last decade over a League Cup triumph and sporadic Champions League participation.

"Not about the manager, it's about time club wakes up", he tweeted, in reply to criticism he slags off Klopp.

"People say how bad Arsenal are, now look what they won in last 10 years compared to us.

"I'd take it compared to our League Cup and playing CL every season", Hamann added.

xxx 😉.

Sy4 I couldn't give a turd what happens at any other club

If you think the last 10 years have been good for us, then you're delusional

Are you willing to give the next manager 5 years to sort out this mess?

So we've not been anywhere near as good as City UTD Chelsea Bayern Barcelona Real Leicester or Athletico over the last 10 years but because we haven't been as awful as Liverpool Spurs Birmingham Brighton or Barnet we should be happy?
Depends wether you measure Arsenal football club with the boy boy gage or in the juniors section where you get a smiley badge just for keeping still I guess :-)
I totally respect your right to your opinion SY mate but I do think you talk up Arsenes achievements for much much more than they are really worth in terms footballing success and yih sell Arsenal football club capabilities well short of just what a club the size of ours is capable of mate.
We have underachieved under Arsene for the past decade not exceeded Arsenal football clubs capabilities.

Measure our success this way.

We sign a World Class player in Sanchez, and he wants to leave after 3 seasons due to lack of success.

Speaks volumes.

For the record - I expect us to compete every year and not just for top 4.
I was just sharing a perspective from a club with a similar budget and big history. That's all

We should be competing for the league each season come April / May time.

We will never compete under Wenger again and haven't done for 10 years

12 more weeks and he will be gone.

I know mate but talk is cheap would Liverpool fans and ex players really trade that night in Istanbul and another final to boot for a annual last 16 exit?
I can imagine Stevie Gerrards grandkids might enjoy hearing about how grandad won the champions league but I'm not too sure Kos grandkids will enjoy him telling them all about how he nearly made the quater finals on numerous occasions :-)

Liverpool since we last won league 1 FA cup 1 League cup 1 champions league 1. UEFA super cup

Arsenal 3 FA cups

And Wenger used to be under pressure from a section of fans but it appears now that it is the majority by how large I don't know. I for one have come to the end . Ain't going to slag him off just that's where I am. Last year on the fence this year out.

As wealth in football is polarised into institutions like real madrid and man utd etc I think we're seeing a clamour to become just that by many clubs. With oil money around and now Chinese money, within ten years the premier league could look very different with only the top few teams being truely competitive.

This is all more than likely with a breakaway league and a huge wage bubble developing too. Regular participation in champions league stands us in better stead to be one of these top brass teams in the future I. My. O.

I mean what happens when nobody wants to pay paul pogba's wages abroad and man utd are stuck paying a percentage for another 5 years to move him on? Do that with enough players to such an extreme, surely they become financial liabilities instead of assets? Genuine question, what does everyone do then? Revenues can't grow forever at the same rate.
