wow what a dreadful result against our rivals away from home, at 12.45 on a Saturday. dejavu?
I really cannot understand what happens to these players in the big games away. because at home we have been more then competitive against them. should and deserved to beat Chelsea, dominated Liverpool, city to come and I have a feeling we'll win that too.
title race isn't over, but its a hell of a long shot.
feel sorry for wenger, poor performance from the players, and poor result for his 1000th game.

to everyone saying he should of done something in jan/last summer.
who was available in jan that would've improved us?
we tried to get draxler they wouldn't sell.
we tried to get morata they wouldn't let him go.

in the summer; we tried to get bender, Gustavo, gonolans and apart from Gustavo the other wernt going to be sold. and Gustavo is no improvement on flamini at all.
we tried to sign jovetic but they wanted way too much money and he wasn't worth it at all.
we tried to get higuain, but RM were messing with the price too much and in the end went for way too much. and looking at the stats he's not doing better then giroud at all.
we went for suarez, and at 40mil it was the right price, he would have been a huge risk because of his discipline and outrageous actions, and no one knew he would become this much better.

its not easy to sign big players at once, and yes we have money now and this summer will be the best time to judge our summer. last summer we made our first step in signing a huge player (ozil), we finally broke our wage structure, we never sold anyone of our main players this is CLEAR indication we are making steps in the right direction.
we have an fa cup to look forward to, and hopefully we win that to end this barren run

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think conceding 17 goals in 3 away games answers your post, there is something seriously wrong and I lay that at wengers door as we're too predictable and have too many injuries, maybe he needs to go so we start addressing what is fundamentally becoming a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

WAQ

Sorry mate, but again you are talking nonsense, we didn't break our wage structure with Ozil? where do you dream this up from, we might have paid a record fee, but wage structure .no.

And mate I don't call bidding £40,000, 001 really trying to get Suarez, it was taking the mickey . If Liverpool can take a gamble why couldn't Arsenal? It looks like it was well worth it because once again our players will have no rest from the WC as they will be asked to qualify for the CL

If we had played two draws we’d have two points. Having won one we have three points.

That is the only positive that can be taken after the recent London Derby games

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Come on Banbury. I like your realistic views, but don't be hypercritical and start papering the cracks with posts like that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually Rocky this is a quote from Arsene Wenger himself. go to the Website

I was wondering who would fall for that.

I didn't mate .

Here's a bit of a dilemma then. Do we allow Gibbs to take one for the team bearing in mind the Ox's current form or do we appeal the red card and lose Ox for the next game?

On another note, have we actually won a game this season that BT Sport has made us move to the lunchtime slot on a Saturday?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - You won't need to do that. It'll be rescinded and O-C punished instead.}

Yeah the FA can take affirmative action on it and automatically ban the ox.

which they will, and also help us out, incase you haven't noticed we can still field a midfield. loosing gibbs would mean we have (fit)

Sagna, vermalen, jenkinson and the bfg.

monreal out, gibbs out, kos out

Edd any chance of varane, mangala or musachio and any chance of wenger resigning

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No.}

22 Mar 2014 17:43:11
We loose 6nil and I don't think Chelsea were all that it was self destruct. In these so called big matches the defence seems to crumble we need another world class cb to partner koscielny not a fan of mertesacker too slow the full backs always have to cover him which leaves us open for the counter attack yes he's been good his season but personally I'd like another cb if sagna wants to leave let him leave been a good servant need a new rb need a proper holding midfielder against Chelsea we lost the ball so many times to matic and luiz it's ridiculous a holding mid is a must we need more pace without theo were struggling we need a proper striker giroud is pants and maybe a change of formation and a new manager

Arteta-too slow no strength pathetic
Giroud-poor finisher should be moved on
Podolski- what has he done In 2 years c u later

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its not all the big games we have struggled in. its all the away games against the big teams we seem to have folded over in. and strangely they have all been 12.45 kick offs on a Saturday.
not saying that's an excuse because it isn't, we were once again terrible.
but I don't get how we are sooo competitive against the big teams at home and then soo dreadful away.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's that ruthlessness that we need to show, if they've got nothing to give, neither do we. And I agree with all of these three, maybe not giroud. God he's handsome. I'm trying to steal him from flybo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Giroud will look good sitting on the bench he would look even better if he's sold

Agree0 Disagree0

Its dead simple giroud ain't good enough scores first goal today the whole match might have gone in a different direction but guess what he ain't at the emirates scuffs his shot easy save for cech

too many light weight not good enough for arsenal in the middle carzola what has he done, playing like he's injured, arteta too slow get rid, ox well he had a shocker wtf was he doing is he a frustrated keeper?

gibbs bin him off out of position so many times, sagna don't wanna sign bin him podolski is it just he ain't a left winger / midfielder? he plays there for germany

fundamentally wenger relies on too many fragile players that are effectively glass

nasri goes out with an acl injury 10 weeks, ramsey has a hamstring problem 6 weeks

how is it nasri is back and playing and we are still missing ramsey?

don't get me started on wilshere or diaby

too much glass in our team, anyone thinks this can be solved with 2 or 3 players is dreaming end of

I know I'm in an ever shrinking minority but Arsene is very much the best man still for Arsenal.
What other manager would have put years of self interest aside for the long term future of the club.

Can you imagine telling Morinho you will have to accept a few years of little money to spend to help us build a stadium that will be a platform for the clubs long term good and him putting the clubs best interest above his own?
I can't think of many if any that would

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not sure about that - today though, I have a heart for Wenger - like him or not, he loves arsenal and has given part of his life for the club - to be humilated by a man who treats him as poor as mourinho, when really the team was a disgrace - well you'd have to have a heart of stone not to feel for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunner 62

But the years without money have now stopped, so that argument is gone

Can you imagine anyone wanting to come and manage a club that has so much money but is so reluctant to release funds?

Sorry but you clearly are happy for mediocrity, you must be or you would have stronger views, yes he has done well, I would accept 2 or 3 years without something but 9?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunner62
i agree with you mate.
i worry what will happen when he goes. What a lot don't realise is without champions league their will be not much money
its good to debate thing like we do,
For me keep Lord Wenger

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure I can blame AW for the stupid balls we gave away to create goal scoring opportunities for CFC - where was Gibbs for those first two goals?
Can't blame him for the penalty or the cheap goals the keeper let in BUT he should have strengthened in the summer and the last window.
I am a huge Wenger fan but he has a huge job to do this summer and needs to deliver as I am tired of these huge losses to the top teams.
New right back, replacement for Arteta and a world class striker up front with pace. If we stick with Giroud then it must be 442
Give Ozil options and give the opposition things to think about

I remember the camera panning down the team - Seaman, Keown, Pires, Freddie, Paddy, Dennis, Henry. I remember thinking how scared I would be if I had to face them as there was also the rest in the team such as Cole, Lauren etc etc.

Still have faith but need action AW as we are so close to winning something. If you don't add, the team will split up like RVP, Cesc etc did

Onwards on upwards. Roll on the next game and the FA cup.

I want 3rd and the FA cup plus some early signings in the window

Agree0 Disagree0

Banbury you mistake the fact that I'm prepared to look at the overall picture for me being happy with 4th place.
I wanted and still want top 3 this season as a step towards becoming a force real again.
The season isn't over dispite today.
Personally I think Arsene has made up his mind to go this season already but for me it will be a very sad day.
I do believe he Could still make us great again and would be happy to o stand by him

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as I admire what Wenger has done not only for Arsenal but the Premier League in general, there comes a time when the most passionate Wenger supporter must take a second look and ask is what's happening really acceptable.
Banbury is spot on. The money/limited resources tag CAN NOT be used any more. There isn't a club in Europe if not the world boasting cash reserves as grand as ours.
There is absolutely zero excuse for not spending it either. And before someone says that we spent 42m on Ozil I'd ask the question " is he the player we really needed?" We signed him after the Fan backlash of the Villa game. Yes it had an affect on the squad no doubt, but overall it didn't help.
I strongly believe even the most blinkered Wenger fan would agree that 1 if not 2 main strikers is what we really needed. Giroud is no good. Never has been. Never will be. Sorry but that's the blunt truth. He's shone because he's the best we have which is a pretty damning situation to be in.
The doubts over Wengers ability to turn things around have been growing for some time. The concern of "who can do better" is massive talking point and creates mass trepidation. But in the same breathe what did people think when Wenger was appointed. I'd say 95-99% of fans bricked it when he was appointed, so why be scared of change now. Out coached is a frequent theme to discussion between arsenal and the other top teams. At present it seems we can't beat a top of the table team. No good if you want to win the league.

People will say we have made progress this season. I think that's rubbish. Our position makes us look better than we are. Chelsea are doing better than last season and they have downgraded strikers and they have tried there best to play themselves out of the title race. Man city arguably have a worse manager and like wise Chelsea hardly set the season alight, win there games in hand and a comfortably top. Man Utd, well to think there were fans on here wanting moyes as our next boss speaks for it self. He's useless. And now to liverpool. As much as it pains me, they have completely leapfrogged us. Yes they have less games to play but they are showing us and the rest how to play and their tactics have been spot on. Next season for them will be a test add champions league football to their calender but they are willing to take a gamble when it comes to spending.

Only when Wenger leaves will we truly find out the situation the club is in. Can we spend?the FACTS and figures say yes. Do the club want to spend? Lose Wenger and one way or another we will find that out.

My thoughts

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol

Gunner you aren't looking at the bigger picture, with every season we keep getting knocked out of the CL very early sooner or later there will only be 3 spaces available and then just 2.

Some how I don't think you would be happy with 4th place then would you.

I think you my friend need to think a little further in advance.

Maybe you are one of these who think the FFP will come to our rescue lolololol

o dear

Agree0 Disagree0

And Gunner, if you really think Arsene is off this season, then you have NO CLUE about the man. He will not be leaving this year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunner
i watched the arsene who programe
and david dein give the impresion to me that arsene might not sign, it would be good to see dein back, he said he is on the subs bench, so maybe something might happen
edds can we have a poll of say 5 managers including Wenger, to see what the poll comes out
cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

Banbury Banbury, I think you'll nfind I didn't say I was happy with 4th place and your nearly right about haven't got a clue bit, who is ffp? Please educate me a little further my friend

Agree0 Disagree0

Apologies G62, you are right you didn't say you would be happy with 4th

F F P
Financial Fair Play, there are those still thinking that we will benefit from this. no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

WELSH

You must have watched in it Welsh without subtitles then matey, DD certainly didn't give that impression, if he did I didn't see it and Arsenal certainly ( and AW ) wouldn't have let it be filmed

Agree0 Disagree0

I think this season is enough i've had a gut full of the excuses how wenger has over achieved it utter rubbish name me another club that would keep him on in the tier we think we belong in?

NONE is the answer humiliating play today even harder to take than the liverpool result for me just no excuse for his poor squad reinforcements

Would love to see us make a real attempt to get Jurgen Klopp in the summer, Dortmund not the team they were two seasons ago with Bayern poaching many of their better players. We must be able to offer him more financially both personally and in terms of spending power, plays an exciting style of football, picked up some real gem's in Lewandowski and Gundogan, saw the potential in someone like Hummels. Exactly what we need, to move this club forward. Be even better if Wenger could go out with an FA Cup win. But I have my doubts over the boardroom and ownership, will they remove Wenger when he makes them such a handsome profit? Spending very little (whether that is his choice or enforced only change can tell) never failing to get Champions league qualification and the money that brings money and making huge profit from player sales. From Wenger's side loss of 8-2, 6-3, 5-1 and 6-0 against out rivals go unpunished as does half his arsenal career without a trophy, would he leave?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great name m8,

Time too go for sure, team selection was shocking

Agree0 Disagree0

That's the direction I would go.
Flybo

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I hope Lord Wenger signs a new contract
what he has done is nothing short of amazing
It is the board that now owes him and let him get in some tallent, no one will do a beter job

Agree0 Disagree0

Welsh stop talking about the bloody bank balance, on the pitch we have done nothing for far too long.

Id Arsene wants to become an account then go to the bank .

Lets get it right he did, did a fantastic job. You can't keep saying he is doing a fantastic job and harp on to something years and years ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Banbury
you make me laff, spoken like a porthmouth/leeds fan
please tell me what you think we should do.
players in remember they have to be willing to come mate,, we are not on fifa 13 now, lol
So who would take the fa cup and 5 place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be a little more adventurous in the transfer market for one.

Flamini .eh?
Sanoagaagoooooo wtf
Kalwhatz is name don't make me larf

If that is ambitious pigs will fly. Pay Bendovers contract off and get him out the club, all he has done is cost us 52k a week.

we but Ozil and then pin ALL out hopes on him, then some slate him for going off the boil.

Sorry but Wenger needs to do more in the market, he has shown no ambition in the last two windows.

And I am not saying spend 200 million, but we could easily spend 120 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Sanogo was free and touted to be a world beater, signing him isn't a bad signing.
flamini has improved us so how is that a bad signing.

Kalstrom. well not even sterling archer could defend that error of judgement

its not signing someone else that's the problem.

too many fans have said spend spend spend, and were quiet the day after the first spurs game.

end of the season and were struggling again, people pipe up and shout buy buy buy like a firesale.

next season (ikr) will be 10 years since we won, wenger has publicly got the funds to spend, and OBVIOUS areas that need improving.

the fans are at boiling point, this coming summer is the most important of arsene's career imho.

anyone else think this season might just be his last throw of the dice though? before handing over a grat club to a new manager with plenty of cash to bring in quality?

i hope bayern win the CL so pep doesn't feel like he needs to stay :P

my top 3 managers for arsenes job:

Pep,
Jurgen,
'Olly, (haha love the guy and think he's hillarious. but I wouldn't trust him to manage us :P)

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but I think you need to go read about sanogo

why was he free world beater please

he was free because he was playing league 2 french football and was injury prone considering giving it up to become a post man

please world beater :)

Agree0 Disagree0

GOONERINK

This is yours and many other fans problems, if Sanogogogog was touted a world beater how come we got him from Division3? Who recommended him a blind man? Flamini . if he is that good, any reason why he didn't start today? clearly not the impact you are thinking. Kalstrom? again clearly he isn't going to make any difference otherwise he would have played seeing as he should be so much fresher.

These players are taking up places in a squad that could have gone to bigger and better players.

Tell you what, if Sanogogog is that great, as you think he might be, I will have £20 with you tht he doesn't make 20 appearances for Arsenall first XI next season

Agree0 Disagree0

He didn't start because he was 1 yellow away from a 2 match ban. with a referee who has had trouble keeping his cards away and vs a frustrating chelsea side, perhaps arsene didn't think the risk was worth it.

i never said sanogo was GREAT I said he's been TOUTED as a world beater, and was free. and was from french division 2, but is a regular in the french under 21, did I mention he was FREE, not much of a risk.

also I feel you are way too negative banbury, its not over till the fat fan sings!

This game has been utterly pathetic and once again highlighted how we just capitulate in the big games. All the talk at and retrospective look at Wenger's 1000 games has just brought to light once again the shortcomings of the second half of his career. Every list of his greatest players and greatest teams all consist of players from his first few seasons in charge, Vieira, Henry, Bergkamp etc, who from the last few Arsenal teams will be looked back in the same way as those players? Koscielny, Rosicky maybe Sagna. I know that the move to the new stadium tied our hands in some respects financially but that alone can't be the only excuse, the same tactics week in and week out no matter who we are playing and what situation we find ourselves in has to be taken into consideration. That patch where we blindly stuck with the same mediocre players, Almunia, Denilson etc also have played a part in our failure. But what annoys me the most is the in ability to replace like for like quality, After Gilberto Silva and Vieira left we never really replaced them we had Flamini for one season at his best and then decided we didn't need power in the midfield. We have made some good signings Cazorla a recent example but the inability to replace quality like Van Persie (who I hate), is coming back to bite us, he scored in big games and dug us out of holes as did Henry, can anyone seriously see Giroud scoring a hat trick against Chelsea or Inter like they did? I couldn't see Giroud scoring three goals against Brentford in a Capital One cup game and that's just on example of quality not being replaced. It was evident we needed a striker otherwise we wouldn't have been in for Suarez so why did we not make a move for another one? And talking about Van Persie our failure to tie our better players to new contracts before they entered the last year was ridiculous one could be forgiven but the amount we let it happen to is inexcusable. We have no real wingers and the only pace we have is Walcott and Chamberlain that simply is not good enough. Watching Hazard this season just makes me think what could have been, if we had taken some initiative and signed him earlier in his career. Ozil is a great player there is no doubt about that but he was not what we needed in the summer, am I happy we got him yes but at the expense of what was really need no, he simply is not effective for us like he was at Madrid because he doesn't have players making runs into the box, wingers dragging defenders out of position and a lethal finisher to provide assists for and he can't be to blame for that. And finally address the medical issues at the club, the constant muscle strains players get, setbacks and aggravation of previous issues cannot be right, either that or we are being lied to about the true time frame it will take for a player to recover from an injury. Unless we address these glaring issues over the summer we are never going to progress as a team. The FA cup really does represent our last hope and I won't take any excuses for not winning it I know Wigan beat Man City etc, but we simply can't afford another season of failure for me its win or bust.

If this season is the end of the Arsene Arsenal years then what does the future hold?

For Arsene?
Barca Real PSG or France

For us?
I'm not so sure we will be as spoilt for Choice

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wenger will not end up at real a
etc unless they think he can improve ther bank balance. For us we might end up with a tactically astute manager who nows how to win big football matches. Bye bye arsene and thank you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Plenty of top managers would be very interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope your right but very much doubt replacing Arsene will be as easy or fruitful as you think

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunner62
I agree,
Wenger has taken us threw a big transition and kept us at the top.
Spurs nwould give anything for our last 9 years so would most clubs.i think some on here would throw the club away for an f a cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

Welsh

WTF are you on about, why are you harping on about spurs, they aren't a big club, Newcastle, Villa, Everton would all love to be in Arsenals place, but we are bigger.

I think you have summed up where you expect Arsenal to be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats all I ever want tbh banbury,

play decent football, and be better than spurs.

anything on top of that is BRILLIANT but as long as we keep playing good football that's fine by me.

Agree0 Disagree0

GOONERINK

Then you not even worth replying to, but I will just for the crack.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Mar 2014 13:32:22
We need a major rebuild this summer and in my opinion it has to start with Arsene. I love the guy and thank him for everything he has done for this club but he has failed to move with the game and keep up with the modern ways! And the whole 'I'll never buy 6/7 players in one season' has to go! We need 8/9 players over the next two windows.

We need a GK (possibly 2), CB (possibly 2 if TV5 leaves), LB, RB (possibly 2), DM, CM, LM, STx2.

What has Cazorla done this season to earn a new contract?!

Most of all, we need a new, modern day manager to bring fresh ideas and give the whole club a change!

It's been utterly embarrassing against the top teams this season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't think cazorla is good enough at the moment . He's average at best these days

Agree0 Disagree0

It is always embarrassing against the big boys.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think what we're missing is a presence in midfield, just look at luis and matic bossing the **** out of us

but the only person you can blame is wenger as he continues to buy these slight players that are injury prone

Agree0 Disagree0

It's absolutely disgusting. Even the supposed 'small teams' rarely go and get beat 6-0.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not me. You only had to look at the line ups and player for player it looked bleak

Agree0 Disagree0

My only surprise is that we've learnt nothing from city and liverpool away, we're like a pinyata for the top teams giving goal difference away 5+ each game. not sure we've improved this season at all

Agree0 Disagree0

We haven't improved, I have been saying this for ages but got called negative. again I am a realist.

Agree0 Disagree0

Banbury mate I think we are improving.
i feel we will get more points this year that last I think we will be nearer the top in points that last year, we have signed one of the top number 10 in the world, we again have not gone into debt, hopfully we will have two days out at wembley and god will a trophy.
We need a few players of top quality I agree

What a fecking joke. how can any man with a modicum of intellgence have got the wrong player to send off in that situation. especially when the Ox told him the fecking truth!

I heard he thought it was Walcott handling it!

Marriner is a joke and should go back to working on the production line at MG Rover

One thought, USA and UN are sanctioning associates of Putin and blocking their assests. This includes homes, businesses etc. so how will Chavski cope when Abramovish is sanctioned?

Thank you Jose for reminding us how mediocre we are.

Hey, I am keeping the faith.!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Arleta is not good enough for Arsenal!

Giroux is not good enough for Arsenal! He does nothing, he is slow. Sanogo is currently a better option.

Sana should be a professional. If he is not being offered what he wants, still do your job. Jenkinson must be watching him and be furious!

Wenger is the right man, the players are not. They should have gone out to plays with class for their manager in his 1000th game and the majority of them have not!

Rosicky, you are an Arsenal player.

Nye Aurier or Pszichek for right back!

Sell Giroux, byte Ballotelli and another forward.

Bring Campbell back.

Buy Drawler, whatever it takes. If not a REAL left winger!

Bring Zelalem into the first team.

Rant over, for now.

Have we learned absolutely nothing from the Liverpool game?!

Sit tight and give nothing away for 10-15 mins. Do not get counter-attacked!

If Wenger is here next season, he must undertake a major rebuild.

Hi just popped over to say good luck against chelsea and congrats to wenger for the 1000 game club I hope you manage at least a draw surely after the moaninho specialist in failure comments your lads will be fired up for this 1 hope really hope you can dent his title chances nit just because it will help liverpool s chances but it would be good to see moaninho win nothing and see those specialist in failure comments to come back and bite him in the ass so he's the specialist in failure this season anyways

EDDIE5555 what was wrong with wengers selections against bayern.

First leg, both missed pens, we matched them and some until shezza got sent off.
Kroos goal was a corker, place the ball there again 100 times and see how many he can repeat.

Second leg, how many injuries? Wenger fielded a team that gave bayern a good go.

So I do not see any "dodgy team selections" but then I do have my arsenal tinted glasses on:)

With all due respect Do you really want to ask that question again.? After that performance. Now you might understand mate .

Big game today. Hope you can
beat Chelski at Stamford Bridge and truly celebrate Arsene;s 1000 game and at the same time shatter Jose's home record.

Just believe and anything is possible

We have to travel abroad today and play Cardiff. Hopefully we ca get the three points to keep the spurs and others at bay.

In 1996 Arsene Wenger joins Spurs not Arsenal?

Ashburton grove is still an industrial estate.

Tottenham fans still love to talk about their invincibles and total NL dominance, but are frustrated at just finishing top 4 and CL football the last few years and no silverware.
But Spurs have a FA cup SF to look forward to and are well in the PL title race

Arsenal fans dream of CL football and dream of not living in the shadow of their local rivals for so long and having to put up with uafa league Thursday night games.

Luckily for us the above didn't happen, I hope Arsene stays another 1000 games we owe him more than we dare to think of.

Chelsea today probaly our biggest game of the season so far in importance. Where is all the optimism, a bit muted. Reality is like me we hope for a result today win or draw but expect defeat. The omens are not good how ever you look at it. Please let's hope the team show us we are wrong. I hope the banter is positive tonight.

Actually how about this for a little idea Eds. I know we have Ebay but that's too sweeping for my idea. I was thinking what do you reckon on if you had a notice board on this site where people could advertise their Arsenal memorabilia they wanted to sell or exchange.? Maybe spread the idea out to all your other football rumour sites if it turns out to be popular.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The problem is liability if someone gets ripped off. WE are happy to deal with these things for the regulars on an ad hoc basis, but would have no control over others selling you Charlie George's cup winning right boot before disappearing off with you money.}

Yeah I thought you might say that. But what about if people just hooked up and got on with it?

Chelsea today eh? Never feel like we can beat them! Surely the voodoo has to end soon. Can't go on forever losing or drawing! It's Wenger's 1000th game so, simply.Let's just do it today! Giroud us a massive 8-1 to score 1st too!

Wenger 1000 games tomorrow, amazing.

First 500 we won 11 trophies.
Past 499 we have won nothing.

Let's hope that all changes this season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Now! that's an amazing stat. On that basis you would be saying see ya later.
Looks like you could be looking at this another way . First 500 days we had a football manager next 499 days he turned into a football accountant. Heard something pretty amazing the other day directly from an ex Arsenal player who played under him. He said that when Wenger arrived he changed all the diet methods and training and basically he was told by the experts that the team were getting over trained . Problem was some people on the coaching staff were also told to keep their noses out of it even though they were right in questioning Wengers methods or they would find themselves looking for a job. Turns out its his way or the highway! so nobody says anything anymore. Not to healthy if you ask me.

GOLDBOY,

So in the 1st 500 games when we won all those trophies the training staff were all moaning the team were over trained. What utter bollox.

For an Arsenal fan I get you don't like Arsene so question everything that he does, that you don't like Wilshere so think he should be sold.

You read all this drivel about Arsene in the press and take it as gospel.

That some fans have no appreciation of what has been achieved at and by this club simply beggars belief.

Some of your posts truly leave me gobsmacked. I don't care if you were born on a tent on the old highbury pitch or that you've been a fan for 109 years, you are a constant neg head always looking on the down side of this great club and fantastic manager who is way more loyal than a lot of our so called fans. FFS.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow! slow down a bit I'm sure not everyone agrees with everything you say do they or do you expect them to.? Would you appreciate people attacking you like that?I'm far from what you would call a 'neg head ' whatever that is? Believe me! I don't know where that come from at all i'm very surprised with you. But you live and learn.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just been re reading your post . I've never said I don't like Jack Wilshere I've said that he carries too many injuries on a regular basis. I've always said that when he plays he is a great player. RE READ THE POSTS and you will see. Also I am not alone in this Arsenal World that thinks that. As far as Arsene is concerned I am not alone in thinking maybe it's time for a change. Why wouldn't anyone think that? it would be normal wouldn't it? Or have I missed something. I've never said I don't like Wenger either by the way . Anyhow I've got the feeling you may be WENGERISM rumour has it too! There are many similarities in your posts . You've been rumbled.

Jenny GB is a fan but not the most happy! I've got him pictured as Droppy Dog good news is at all works out in the end in those cartoons

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - A "Droopy Dog"? Like the great prophet #WonderDogSparky on Twitter?}

JENNY TAYLOR. I don't post much on here but I thought your post to Goldboy was bang out of order! There was no need for that. The guy has never said he didn't like Jack I've never read it before . As for Arsene I think you will find that loads of Arsenal supporters are getting sick and tired I'd the same old crap every transfer season and the team selections Arsenal v Bayern as a perfect example. You should ease up sometimes. Well out of order you were.

Agree0 Disagree0

New poster but old reader . Jenny Taylor so much venom to another Arsenal supporter not necessary at all. Just because somebody has different opinions. My god that was unbelievable. You should take a chill pill and plenty of them.

Ah the the great EDDIE5555 who also wanted shot of Wilshere and who else was it, oh yes Mersteacker, Ramsey, Sagna and others. You mate are a clown.

GOLDBOY,

Why would you want a change. Because you have no understanding of what's been achieved, beggars belief but it's your opinion and this is mine and Wengerism isn't a name I have used.

To let you understand Jenny Taylor is obviously not my real name. I found the site and posted under a masculine user name, then changed that for another stupid name I found on an app game called Ruzzle, then went back to JT but as a female it's like u don't count so changed again to another masculine name. Then like a chump changed back again to JT.

The picture is real but another stupid idea on my part so as for Wengerism you are way off the mark, where as EDDIE5555 and FIBBY are probably not for you. Are they Golds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Go and lay on the beach you are a silly person WENGERISM .

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm maybe those few months back I was right about jenny, jt or what ever he/she calls their selfs.

Jenny I seriously doubt that pic is of u at all luv, the woman in that pic look older than 12 and u obviously aint. Your venomous attacks on your own fans that have a differing opinion to u is very very very immature to say the least.

Gold has fought your corner many times and had been very cordial towards u and u can't help yourself but to hammer him. Gold may be shocked I am not!

Gold chin up mate there are many real gooners like YOU are that agree with u and many that don't but will give u the respect why deserve mate :-)
