Evening all,

I would just like to pay homage to Arsene Wenger. 20 years ago today he joined Arsenal football club and love him or loath him he revolutionised our great club and completely changed English football as a whole.

Thanks for the great memories Arsene, a true, true legend of modern day football.

Maybe we've got luck running on our side. Strange stuffs that hardly happen have begun happening; penalties being awarded us this time, decent champions league group draw, and now decent EFL draw compared to other clubs, plus long distance goals courtesy Xhaka (Hope Wenger wouldn't give him a pay cut for shooting) .
It's all lucky moments now.
I'm the most sanguine person now :-)

I think Wenger is giving back handers to the FA, you have had 5 pens already and you drew reading at home in the next round. You have more luck than Charlie sheen on a night out.

If improvements continue and we can grow stronger then I believe Wenger is still the man to lead us never doubted him that's probably not going to sit right with most but now I've got something to be optimistic about COYG.

Question.

Did you see Payet free kick?

He's deadly, so why didn't Accrington have a player on the post?

I never understand that.

It's the last kick of the match, I appreciate having a player on post means you play the opposing attackers onside, but makes no sense to me.

Excellent draw in the League Cup. An interesting one for Raver to explain, how come the Toot with an attendance capacity of 36,000 only managed to attract an attendance for last night's match of 26,000?

I know it was against Gillingham, but Arsenal would managed more fans for a training session at The Emirates. Can you imagine 26,000 fans rattling around in the Toot's new 61,000 capacity stadium. This is in a successful era for the Toot, can you imagine the attendances when they return to mid-table mediocrity?

Rg,
Raver will reply in a minute.

He's just got to check his book of "bulls**t excuses".

Love him really :-)

Rg, we had the biggest attendance for a match in 60 years only last Wednesday that's what we are about. I remember Highbury being half empty many of times. Another good win for the spurs kids and we are still undefeated baby.

Raver - 26,000 is shameful. It is decades since Arsenal had low attendances at Highbury. Possibly back in the 1970's, when the capacity was 60,000 with standing. Great result at Wembley, ha! I love this time of year when the Toot fans come out of the woodwork and tell us Gooners, how this will be the year they finish above us, etc. It makes the usual failure all the more painful. 1961 and waiting. The pain at the lane just goes on.

Rg I've seen the emirates empty in the league cup lol, don't worry you play reading in the next round so let's see if it's a sell out. You say the pain at the lane well every football pundit say we are, a force in British football. We have the best training facility in the country, the biggest stadium in London being built, champions league football, Avery strong squad with a good young manager challenging for the league title. We are on the up big time its just you are to arrogant and deluded to notice. You think your club is Barcelona the way you talk, you haven't won the league for years and can't win a trophy in Europe lol.

Diego Simeone's contract has been cut (by mutual consent) , was supposed to run until 2020 but now he will leave in 2018. Arsenal bound maybe?
