Ed002,
Could you please tell us what Arsene Wenger will be having for Christmas dinner?
Also, will Sanchez have his in-law's round?
Also, Will Ozil be going round to all his team mates houses and passing them the salt?

I jest of course.
Hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas and thanks for all your hard work.

Thank you Ed, and to you and yours and thanks again for all the work you guys put into this site.

{Ed001's Note - despite the bad jokes, it is always good to have your input on here mate.}

24 Dec 2015 10:03:47
Thank you Ed,
Speaking of jokes, Mrs Dag's asked "What you getting me for Christmas? "
"Same as last year" I said.
"We didn't know each other last Christmas", she said.
"Exactly", I replied.

Amazing stat.
Flamini has played in 52 league games at The Emirates.

We have never lost.

Ed025 at last! Someone looking to buy Everton, why it's not happened before now remains a mastery to me but its potentially very good news mate.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - im not counting my chickens G62, i have heard it all before mate and been let down, but to be honest i like the fact we are a david amongst the goliaths of this world as well, do i want us to become a chelsea or city?..not in a million..

23 Dec 2015 20:16:19
Of course not mate no fan of a club worth supporting really wants their club to buy the league 100%, but be able to bid for the Vardy and Kane's of this world (just examples) when they come available is no bad thing mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - to be fair G62 we have spent money, not mega but a fair ammount, i love the signings like john stones, picked up for buttons and developed into a class performer, i think thats why i get arsene in a way mate..

23 Dec 2015 20:30:42
Ed the football world is changing and teams have to change with it, or you are in danger of becoming a dinosaur. Not what we all want but that's life. Hope you get a good owner, one who puts the club and fans first, that's all you can ask and not some asian or south american gangster who milks you dry.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - thats the worry steve, we know where we are with bill mate, not the richest or most glamorous but a damn good club, sometimes as people have found to their cost...the grass is not always greener mate..

23 Dec 2015 21:01:43
I think BK has done terrific at Everton. He has always put Everton first.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 22:36:35
So do I Dags he's put his money and time where his heart is no question.
I'd like to see a premier league where Everton spurs Arsenal and Liverpool are all challenging with Chelsea utd and city for the title each and every season.
When English teams dominated the European cup Villa and Forest were obviously also English champions before becoming European champions.
A strength in depth premier league produced much more success in Europe than city utd and Chelsea interchanging for 10 years has.

23 Dec 2015 22:38:11
Depends what owner u get. A Lerner maybe an old pompy owner Or a PSG or man city type.

These guys are not that rich and I believe you could end up a cash cow for more yanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Dec 2015 07:54:14
Not being that rich isn't necessarily a bad thing Derby and I'm sure Bill will make sure of their intentions before letting them anywhere near Everton.

United fan in peace.

I know that Arsenal fans are split on Wenger sometimes but nobody can deny that he is a gentleman and has true class.

Hope you guys win the league this season, just do us a favour and smash all of our top 4 rivals please?!

Thanks tot us and Leicester probably look more settled at this moment of all the teams but big festive period and a massive six weeks from the middle of jan for us, then we will know more. Still six teams could have a say yet. Anyone who has a good run of ten or twelve unbeaten will have a chance. Very topsy turvy league but it usually rights itself by april.

23 Dec 2015 21:02:35
Thank you Tot.

Hiddink says he wants all Chelsea players to look in the mirror, he's being horrible to John Terry already I see.

He's rubbish, crap you could see that in clips before he even joined Arsenal, don't know what wenger was thinking.

He has the makings of a good player.

Who is this one player arsenal need to complete our team to go all the way to win the title this season?
Ed's? Dags? Anyone? Your thoughts.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - has to be a midfielder with pace and energy to break up opposition play, such as Kante at Leicester type.}

23 Dec 2015 07:34:31
MF like Ed says and a strier, statistics show its unlikely Theo will not complete the rest of the season uninjured so why gamble on Olly staying 100% fit and inform from now till May.
Be wise before the event this time.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Try Brozovic as an example.}

23 Dec 2015 07:55:21
Yep, either of the above or William Carvalho.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 10:12:34
Kante is the find of the season no doubt about it. He's impressing me big time. 310.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 10:29:06
Agree with the midfield piece - break up play and turn into attack quickly. That's why I wanted Vidal

Think we need a young centre back to blood into the team

Would like a goal scorer as bench was weak against City

Would like a defensive minded midfielder who can turn to attack quick

That's what I want for Christmas as well as a strong 12 match run in league

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 12:28:32
So SY4 who was the one player you wanted? Lol. :-)

For me Carvalho, we know we can score and we're now not to bad at defending either but if there's anyone we need better cover for its Coquelin because him returning in February, we know from experience can soon become March.

Equally if we buy Kante, Mahrez and Vardy that's them out of the title race! ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 08:52:23
Paul pogba lol.

23 Dec 2015 20:56:33

I have probably missed this but any idea why our game at home to Bournemouth is a 17:30 kick off?

{Ed003's Note - TV ?? }

23 Dec 2015 01:06:26
Not that I can see

Sky NO
Beeb NO
BT NO.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - BeIn Sports? Oh wait they show all the games anyway so they would have no reason to move it. Maybe travel arrangements?}

23 Dec 2015 07:08:31
Sky sports.

23 Dec 2015 07:06:13
100% on telly.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 07:56:20
Don't think it's on TV.
It's a public holiday if that makes a difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 08:59:13
I think it's just the fact we played Monday night so allowing us a slightly longer rest period as they can't drop back Boxing Day fixtures.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 09:14:58
Its Southampton boxing day and Bournemouth Monday but can't see any live coverage on TV so can only assume it's so the Bournemouth b&b landladies can fit in the game around their holiday makers.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 09:26:11
Not on TV Steve, I don't get it, doesn't make any sense.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Dec 2015 10:42:31
As Red Dog said, I think.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 01:41:23
We play Southampton at 7.45 on Boxing Day which is the last game of the day, so the games on the 28th for both Arsenal and Southampton are the latest to give the same amour of rest as what the other teams have except our opponents and Man U v Chelsea and it's that game that is for TV I guess a boring team v a relegation candidate. Obviously this was set st the beginning of the season as a big game, but not no more lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 08:49:14
It is 100% not on TV, not in the UK anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2015 14:57:20
