Quick question, Why was lacca substituted again yesterday?
Tip for Dick, pack it in.
He worked his socks off yesterday.

Laca needs the Kola-tank to protect him against subs.

It's interesting that Emery is using Lacazette in a similar fashion to Wenger. Although, since Welbeck's season-ending injury, perhaps Emery is trying to protect Lacazette and Aubameyang as they are our only realistic options for the main striking role, with Nketiah still looking way off being effective in the PL.
The January window will be crucial as we have lost 2 first team squad players to season-ending injuries. If we persist with playing 3 at the back we must sign at least one more CB. Even with Mavrapanos returning from a strangely long lay off with a groin injury, we only have 4 CB's. We also need a replacement for Welbeck, a player that played both wide attacking and central striking roles. In reality we could also do with an all-round midfield player, ultimately to replace departing Ramsey.
January is a notoriously difficult window to do business in, so 3 players arriving is probably wishful thinking. I am hoping we might sign a couple of players to fill the gaps I mentioned.

I think we will add to our squad but how many and where who knows.
I think Mesut will go along with Elneny so we will need to bring in someone.

Probably just me but managers bitching about referees is a real bug bear! It’s swings and roundabouts we all can remember henchoz ( let it go man ) but even yesterday the tactics of Barnes etc unpunished and the FIVE yes five Burnley players offside at a free kick . Can’t wait for VAR - do we get that extra fa cup ( let it go ) COYG.

VAR can't come soon enough but people have to remember (jamue rednap for one) it only changes obvious errors, tight decisions won't change. For instance, the "PENALTY" yesterday and "OFFSIDE GOAL" would have stood. They weren't glaring errors. But bring it on.

Oh and Arsenal players would not have been booked for diving and ashley barnes probably wouldn't have been sent off for stamping. Michael owen would have 100% had his goal chalked off in the FA cup final though. Lol.

Totally agree Sussex it is what it is and over a season things really do even themselves out, i think it's important to remember when things go for you because it makes things easier to accept on the days they don't.
Wayne Rooney dived to end the invincibles run on 49 games but Pires dived v Portsmouth to make the invincibles possible in the first place.
Either both are fine or both are not fine but you can't mix and match to suit and still be credible.
