Ed025 I know Ed001 has plans for the site and is constantly trying to make it even better than it is already but can I make a suggestion that might be introduced to make 10,000% better overnight?
A Dags detector
I feel this might prove increasingly more popular, oh and please tell me your not really Dags too 025!
He's like an alien life force trying to take over the inhabitants of this site and we need a way to spot who's been infected with the dreaded dagcloneium decease :-)

I personally have no problem with you having time away from the page, however a little notice would have been appreciated as g62, Greeny, 1404, beer drinking Gooner or someone else could have stepped in with our daily diet of gags. We may even of had some funny ones! ;-)

Further to blame it on an internet connection when we all know full well you having been sobbing your heart out over Remy wasn't necessary.

We are all together and would have given you a collective hug to get you through the pain.

Now get back to some jokes and start a Carvalho or Vidal band wagon rolling! Or else :-)

If you all want to know the truth, just for a wind up, I set up a different username, so I could have a bit of banter.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, after a few days, one of the office Eds, not the normal Eds like 002 and 025, blocked my account because of the IP address, which is understandable, because he thought somebody had hacked into my email address.

But, all sorted now.

PS, I WAS SPURSMAN, LOL.

I'm actually thinking who ever we don't want, get Dags to start a band wagon rolling then like Remy they'll go else where, he could start with Smalling, Nani and Jones. :-)

To be honest I think Arsene has definately got something good planned and I would love to know what and at 27 maybe Vidal is somewhat unrealistic but if we won trophies each year for the next four with great runs in the UCL then in reality he'd pay for himself.

I'm thinking that Ozil will be here now for the best part of his career with little sell on value but it's what they achieve whilst they're here.

I'd be more than happy with Carvalho, the most important thing is we get a top top quality one as Arsene loves to say.

Dags I'm hoping g62 gives you lines or detention for that prank! Lol :-)

I tried my best to fill the gaping hole left by Dags sudden Schizophrenia. I dropped a few jokes that had Ed25 reeling. I didn't start a bandwagon, but I was the founder of the cult of Jackson Martinez, which you're all welcome to join, you just need to shave your heads and give up all your possessions.

I don't see Arsene spending 20 + million on DMF and 30+ million on a striker, so its either or in my opinion.
Personally I go DMF every time

If we really do have that enormous "war chest" to spend, it really shouldn't be an issue.

I think with Sanchez, Giroud, Poldoski, Walcott etc we have enough attacking options if we had to pick one or the other.

We need a beast in the middle! That's the priority!

Although I'd like us to sign a CDM and then say, throw in a wildcard of Greizmann and chuck Sanchez up front with Walcott on the right and they'd rip it up!

I agree mate but would you take jackson martinez or khdiera right now?

Our biggest issue last season wasn't having someone covering the defence as we got exploited by the big teams, so I'm with G62, DM so I would take Khedira over Martinez, however don't think we will get Khedira out of the DM options. Outback, I hope you're right and its not an issue and we do end up with Martinez and a DM.

Eisfeld off to Fulham on a 2yr deal - thought he looked quite good for us when he did play and certainly performed in the youth setup. I suppose with the wealth of 1st team midfielders that we have, getting him game time was always going to be problem.

So two years ago we were linked to signing Mario Gotze from Borrusia Dortmund. Instead we came back with Thomas Eisfeld.

He's never quite made it at Arsenal and has now signed a permanent deal with recently relegated Fulham.

Hopefully he'll get a chance to showcase his skills!

so assuming no new strikers, looks like Wenger could set up 442 and 433 this season,

not thought about it much but our 5 main attacking players are

Sanchez, Giroud, Walcott, Campbell and Podolski.

Giroud holding off defenders until a leathal shot from pods coming off a counter from parking the bus with 4 defenders and 4 midfielders.442

Campbell and walcott on the wings with bags of pace setting up a mazing amazing sanchez. 433

in mid I guess the boss may employ his 4 wingbacks tacktic and have two fullbacks on each side.
flamini and ramsey in the mid. or Jack and flam as cdm's and rambo and ozil as attacking mids. in 442

same as this season cdm cm cam 433

defence builds itself. just need backup.

(isnt that great to hear defence picks itself!)

I personally can't see Campbell having the game time and influence you suggest GoonerInk. He's been playing in a weak league and apart from 3 games over the last 6 months (Man Utd and 2 World Cup games, the 3rd WC game he was running on empty) he will take till Xmas at least to get up to speed of the premier league. That of course is IF he stays. If he has a future at arsenal a loan to another premier league team would be beneficial. When everyone is fit he's a sub at best.

though I can accept why people doubt in him.

i think he has the potential to be top premier league quality.

and think he is an improvement on gervinho. though maybe that's what's tinted these specs! :P

To be fair though Goonerlink, I once saw a pigeon land on the pitch and it was already an improvement on gervinho

I don't disagree he had potential. But now we have our new firm financial footing do we or should we be waiting for potential that may not happen?

Now that Remy has walked away from our worship, I'm planning on starting a new cult. I'm now looking for members in the cult of JACKSON MARTINEZ, who will easily fill the void left by that infidel Remy. Jackson will boss the premier league if given the chance and is a life long Gooner. Let us bask in his light.

Im all in on this new cult outback. fantastic player would love to see him at arsenal.

do you think there's much chance though? then again I would have never predicted ozil and sanchez so anything is possible I guess

Putting it out there that we only need a DM to really compete this season( personally i'd like to replace monreal but I don't think that's likely).
With Campbell coming back I don't think we need another attack, that gives us poldi, giroud, ox, sanchez, walcott, gnabry, campbell for those wingers/striker spot.
Bring in that DM and cb cover if verm leaves( i'd let him he's been a liability in the last few seasons imo) and we got a team on our hands

Completely agree Batch, DM is an absolute must. However, I'm going to keep banging the drum about the need for another attacker, specifically, a CF. Out of all those attackers you mentioned, only Giroud is a CF. Are you aware of the cult of Jackson Martinez? We are currently accepting members.

I agree, we do need a DM, and a CB cover if we sell verm, and any other cover if we sell any more players.

however and this is my opinion, if we are to sell Cazorla, Monreal, Poldi, we must at any cost even if it means breaking our transfer record try and Land Reus. For me a trio of Reus, Sanchez and Walcott, Ozil may not strike fear such as Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema and Rodriguez or Suarez, Neymar, Messi, Iniesta.

but what we would have is talent to compete with the best. and when it comes down to one game anything can happen and ill take our chances with that lineup.
