Diame to sign in January along with a striker

Thats it !

Theo is going to liverpool

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Why would he go to Liverpool if Sturridge is going there

Agree6 Disagree1

Because Liverpool need to buy two and Theo is a Liverpool fan.

One thing I would like to say regarding the Ed's is to ask people why they only come on this site to ask the Ed's for rumours.
I dont think they know anymore than we do. (and please dont take this as a dig )

Likewise Mark, have a great one.

Can I also just take the opportunity to thank the Eds for the work and effort they put into the site, basically for what appears to be their love of football and the teams they follow. It's appreciated by the majority but unfortunately abused by a very unpleasant few.

It dismays me to think of what some people must post in aimed at the Eds that we don't get to see.

All have a fantastic Christmas along with all the other posters especially the regulars that were here long before me but make it such a great site for us all.

Your right stoner, you do unfortunately get a few silly people on here with their stupid comments.

Has anybody else noticed how much height and power we have lost out of the team from the opening few games.........diaby>wilshere.........jenkinson>sagna.........giroud>walcott..........really thought we looked so strong in the first month or so :/

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Jack may not be tall but he is by far our most powerful player. I like Diaby but Jack is way better at breaking up play.

He may get on our nerves, he may make us angry, he may make us chuckle, but this website wouldn't be the same without him. He's come up with some crazy predictions which have mostly failed, but by God he's got us excited.
And to that I toast a happy new year and a Merry Christmas to Malaga Gooner :D

We all say how good ramsey was before his injury against stoke city. The fact is after ramsey joined arsenal from cardiff he actually made only 10 appearances between 2008- feb 2010 before he got injured. in that time ramsey made only 10 appearances for us of which 9 was from the bench and he started just once against wolves on nov 7 2009. ramsey was never actually good enough but he had the love of arsene wenger. I wish we could just loan him for the rest of the season.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

The problem he had was Cesc not his own. Hard to break into a side when he is up against such a talent. I believe he will come good.

Guess you wont be sending him a christmas card them you misserable g*t.

Selling deadwood isnt easy, Chamakh, Squillaci etc are earning good wages, not many clubs will pay them as much.

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Then we have to loan them out, even if we get half their wages it free's up a squad place.

Agree4 Disagree1

We have tried...

Agree4 Disagree2

Not sure we have tried hard enough, most likely that there has been interest but we have wanted them to pay all their wages

Next months transfer window is the gonna be mr wengers hardest of all ! he's got to transform our team with a world class striker a big holding midfielder and a solid consistent centre half ! But the main transfer target for arsenal shouldn't be any player but mr dein arsene misses his right hand man desperately and should do everything in his power to get him back on board before he jumps ship to !!! I know having his player knowledge and somebody with real love for the mighty arsenal would cheer everybody up this Xmas

Up the arsenal !!

Wilshere is urging Walcott to sign a contract extension at Arsenal.

Fantastic, that's exactly what we should be doing. Class player, arsenal through and through.

At least it's not the other way around...

Nick.

Believable15 Unbelievable1

I'd rather have Walcott sold and AW buy Soldado and Navas. How much better off would we be with those two. A true striker and a great winger and both miles better than Wally in both positions.

Ok, why are the eds ignoring people?

Genuine question, I had a scroll down, and it seems someone may of upset them or something?

Why they be all mad?!

So Walcott to sign and be our `new` forward signing, that leaves a glaring space on the right wing for someone to fill.

I`d like to see Chamberlain played out there regularly but it does leave us a bit short, Ramsay isnt the answer (to anything). Anyone got any suggestions for a speedy, intelligent right sided winger/midfielder?

Lots of reports saying the Zaha deal is done. He is already better then walcott

Agree3 Disagree4

Jenkinson in front of Sagna would terrorise the right side, both can attack and both can defend, the opposition would'nt know who to follow.

Agree7 Disagree1

How on earth is Zaha better than Walcott? When Theo was at Southampton he was ripping up the league, it's not so easy in the premiership!

Agree6 Disagree1

Jefferson Farfan

Agree4 Disagree0

Isco....... is the answer

Agree2 Disagree0

Neither Gnarby or Miyachi are ready or good enough.

Zaha is promising and could well join AFC...but isnt he just another `promising young player with potential` that we/you lot moan we sign too often?

Jenkinson as a right winger....just no.

Farfan is a decent idea but Isco is more central and yet another near little creative player in the mould of Cazorla, out on the wing we need players with pace and directness, the natural instinct to run at players and create panic.

All in all, I`d say we`ve a good chance of signing Zaha or even Isco but neither of these are the `established world class player` our fans are constantly crying out for...and both would almost certainly bring more criticism on Wenger if he did buy them.

I still have nightmares about February 23rd 2008.

I'm sure we would have won the league that season if Eduardo wasn't butchered by Martin Taylor.

He was one of the finest most nonchalant finishers you would have seen prior his injury.

Hope we can find a striker like him in January

Mdog

Believable15 Unbelievable2

Same mate, but what can we do, gutted for eduardo, hes the only player that wengers let go after played terrible, even with his injury, if only he could do that with chamahk, and gervihno :(

Agree3 Disagree0

Another thing i remember about that game is we had a chance to finish that game off because adebayor could have played the ball across the box to bendtner who was on his own in the box but he decided to go for the glory himself. that was not long after the bust up they had at tottenham, whether they hated each other or not all adebayor had to do was play that simple ball across the box.

Eduardo was one of the most natural finishers i have seen....a real fox in the box!

Think, we sit 13 points of the lead.

We are moaning, we are slating Wenger and his methods.

If we were to sign the three top players we need we would compete, no side that carries Gervinho can compete.

Why can't AW see this?

(Im pro-wenger)

Just curious, I am a Chelsea fan in peace, who do you think is the best player/has potential to be the best player out of Eden Hazard, Juan Mata or Emboaba Oscar? Personally I think it is Oscar but just curious to see what rivals think. Good luck with the rest of the season, good luck against Bayern also, do London proud again!
CFCFOREVER!
P.S. What's anyone's thought on that Van Persie-Williams clash? I think an outburst like that from a manager is shocking, but no doubt Fergie will get his wishes and get the FA to hand poor Williams a ban. Terrible to see a defender trying to defend, what was he thinking?

Believable13 Unbelievable0

All have brilliant potential, chelsea have a fantastic team, they just need to stick with the manager. If they had a fergie/wenger in charge they could easily dominate the league.

Agree7 Disagree0

24 Dec 2012 08:30:48
I think Mata is the best now and unfortunately they will all only get bet. Somehow feel Oscar will be the best.

You guys should also really stop the RDM stuff, heard some of the crowd were even chanting at Roman, "you don't know what you're doing" if he goes it'll be fantastic for the rest but the death of you guys.

Stoner

Agree9 Disagree0

Mata without doubt

Agree3 Disagree0

Agree totally Stoner, it's pointless now. Just give Benitez a chance was always my view and still is because I'm not a plastic, one man (not even a man as loved as RDM) does not make a football club. More fans need to remember that.

Mata is such a good player. I know that I wish we had signed him instead of Gervi!

Oscar for me. I'll pick him b4 anyone else 'cos is the 'complete player'. He defends, marks, tracks, tackles, shoots, creates, passes, dribbles and has more passion. He seems a humble and cool-headed guy too.
GunUp.

Agree5 Disagree0

Two words.... eden hazard

Agree2 Disagree1

Mata is class now, and one of the best playmakers in the world, but i think Oscar has more potential, he's class already at such a young age. Don't know about Hazard, i don't think he's that good honestly... Well he delivered in the French league, but yeah Gervinho also did...

Agree1 Disagree0

Looking at hazard he doesnt cut it in the big games he drifts inside from the wing leaving a massive gap for the opposition to exploit (like juve) he drifts in and out of games and only performs against the small teams

Have to say don't fancy playing Chelsea if they keep this form up, hate to say it but third is theirs already. We now need to battle for fourth, its going to be tough.
Windsor Gooner

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Yes we are battling for 4th, but spurs tbh dont look too strong, and atm they look our ownly challengers, so we should grab that 4th place.

Form? 2 wins from 7 games!

Guess who the form team is in the prem? The only team to win their last 3 games?
