I just got a seasonal greetings card from my Dermatologist.

A big shout out to Red and MgM who while the rest of us are busy eating and drinking to much and playing with all the new toys we get from Santa will be hard at work in the NHS, massive respect and thanks to you both and all the others who will be working so hard to keep us safe and well tomorrow and all over the holidays.

Nice one Dags, my heart goes out to everyone who for what ever reason is sleeping on the streets. God bless them all and those who give up their time to make a difference

{Ed007's Note - Brilliant stuff from you lads, it's nice to see people thinking like you these days. Two things have happened in the last couple of days that really hit home with me. Obviously you all know about the terrible accident in Glasgow that cost six poor souls their lives but I was on my Twitter account today and there was a small local to me charity/foodbank appealing for anyone with an oldish/extra single bed they could donate for a wee 3 year old girl who through a family tragedy, not the crash, had nowhere to put her head down on Christmas Eve.
WTF is wrong with this country when a small kid doesn't have a bed to sleep in AND needs charity to get one?
Anyway, merry Christmas from me lads, I hope you all have a great time.}

Can I just say a big massive Merry Christmas to all and sundry.

I'm not going too mention any names, too many, but all you boys contribute to a great sight.

Sure, there's a few late tackles flying around and a few people on here have been shown a red but, it continues to be an amazing site, and long may it continue to do so.

I'm going to mention the Eds, because they deserve it.

001, fantastic site, you Sir are a genius.

002, your 'insider' knowledge never fails to astound me. Amazing job.

007, Start supporting a proper team and come over to the Red side (lol, only joking mate).

For the new year - I DON'T want a new Paddy (PV4). I want a new Gilberto. This is the player we miss the most.

We need Per and Kos back with someone taking ownership of the penalty box. Let's get some cover here also.

We need the fullbacks to play as a par - one must always stay back. We used to do this by having a more defensive full back but now they need to work together better and Per organise that. Deduchy gives us better balance there.

We need an athletic Gilberto like player sat in front of the back four. This player needs to take one for the team, not just shout and point at others but actually concentrate on protecting the back four to allow Ozil et al to play. Win the ball back and keep possession by playing a simple ball to our ball players. Could have played the simple ball to Cesc!

The attacking guys need to make themselves more available every time by making triangles which gives us options. They need to make runs for other players and they need to keep possession

As a team, we need to press more from the front and not be afraid to shoot or turn to attack quicker. They need to run themselves tired for 60 mins as we have a sub bench to use and they don't need to pace themselves for 90 mins

Stadium needs to rock and become our Castle. We need to come out to a strong song that inspires.

Lastly - Bouldie needs to get off his arse and shout at the defence if they aren't doing as he says

I'd be amazed if AW went out to get players in January? He is never a big lover of this window is he?

He will look at his injury list and say, Wilshire to return in Feb, Ramsey very soon, Ozil very soon, Walcott now on the bench, Kos won't be long.

I think Podolshi, Rosicky, Arteta and Flamini will all leave in the Summer.

Sanogo possibly on loan.

Diaby will be off also .

You might and most probably are right mate but I expect either a DM or CB to come in, the 4th place trophy is in greater danger than ever before and I think desperate times call for desperate measures and we'll do 50% of our absolute minimum requirements in January
