You lot are the biggest failures this season no utd, Chelsea, man city, Liverpool and you are not going to finish top 4 . This might have been our best chance of a title in 12 years and we blew it but that's nothing compared to their best chance of a title in 54 years and they've blown it

On a more serious note. Congratulations to Leicester. Deserved champions, entertaining style, found them a friendly club when I went there early in the season and I hope they enjoy the celebrations.

Truth is NES we've never spoken but I do have some respect for you as you normally seem fair minded but people like Raver and the guy I work with deserve all the banter they get

The one I work with predicted 5-0 tonight and basically told me I was an idiot when I said the baggies shouldn't be taken lightly as they know how to grind out games and as the local press ripped into them round here they would be up for tonight and it wouldn't be easy

I'm 54 in June and over still to suffer a spuds title!

I think neither wenger leaving, or us signing 5-6 player will solve our problems. In fact I think one of wengers strongest qualities is buying players. Look at the likes of bellerin, koscielny, elneny, sanchez and ozil just to name a few.

This i where the problems come for me. Wenger has on more than one occasion this season spoken that this team can in fact win the league. And I agree. So if the team, the players ain't the problem, what is?

Wenger is obviously a great manager. i won't say anaything else. But I think the last year he has been one track minded. A one trick pony. And you can see it in the way we play. If plan a fails, we have no plan b. It actually looks like we only practice certain moments in training, where others is left for the players to figure out in match.

My point being: it is obvious that we need change. But you don't need a new manager, or a new squad to change the way you play. i defintley think wenger is more than capable to adapt. I also think he has to. How can the playerd adapt if the manager cant?

I am certain wenger has seen what we have seen over the last games. He knows our game needs changes. And i am glad he will have the opportunity to make these changes next season.

Lets get behind the team and manager. that's our job. Let them do theirs. COYG.

I think a few great players coming in won't do the trick. I believe we need a major overhaul. We need a winning mentality. We don't have any leaders on this team. We have no one who can shoot from distance outside of Alexis. We were playing better with flamini, campbell in the lineup. When we got some guys back healthy including Alexi we stunk up the joint. Its amazing to me and maybe I am wrong but seems we picked up more points when Flaimini was playing.

I think Theo and Ox should go and I have long supported both, but its time.
New Partner for Koscielny.

One Defensive midfielder but that is low on the priority list.

Back Four: Bellerin, Monreal Koscielny and a replacement for walcott and ox and a striker, Welbeck a good number two and can play out wide. Giroud can go.

We need a true defensive mid Le Coq is a great rotation player but we need a true tactician to create a defensive three when our fullbacks attack the flanks.

We have a few players who are capable of rasping a shot Elneny, Ramsay, Santi and as you say Alexi but we have a pass mentality to a woeful CF. This brings upon the need for a true clinical finisher.

IMO we are short of four players who could push us on I'm not saying that would guarantee league success but to mount any sort of challenge.
The Eds have stated we have an interest in several CB's and one in particular I think would be phenomenal is Jeison Murrilo the lad from Inter Milan. From what I have seen He has pace, strength on the ground and in the air which is something we desperately need, would partner Kos and would add steel to our back line.
Add a true DM, Winger and CF to that and we have a capable line up.

But unless AW changes his mentality from the pass, pass, pass and pass we are truth be told Royally Phucked.

I know most people are saying we need 5/ 6 top signings to compete. What positions do people on here think we need a top signing in? i can only think CB and CF. maybe a LB? is DM a priority with coq and elneny? A RW?

I think the low attendance against West Brom has finally got Arsenes and the boards attention so we will try very hard to sign a very top striker to keep the fans happy and then try to find the Mahrez Kante and Payets of next season.
Personally I think getting a very top striker very early in the window will be a big factor in us being able to keep Sanchez and Ozil for next season who can't be exactly be any more excited by the prospect of yet another season as also rans next season than we are.

For me 3/ 4 are needed.

I'm with you on the CB and CF, they are major priorities but have been for 3/ 4 years or so. Would have to add a DM as Coq is just a liability at times his long passing is hopeless and goes to ground way to easy. ( best we have currently though) . Great Squad player but not good enough if we have "ambition". plus a Right winger if funds stretch that far/ Walcott leaves.

I think we only need 1 or 2 but they must be great and leaders - maybe Zlatan or Suarez type - it will lifthte rest who are all very good but lacking inspiration (except Sanchez, Kos, ballerina/ MOnral and cexh of course) .

It depends on your expectations, as said we have some very good players but probly half are not upto winning the prem on their own, monreal, mert, ramsay, giroud, good but not great, plus a few more obvious ones. But without dredging it up again, wengers style and tactics or lack of and the way we play will not take us anywhere. Look at the way the top teams play now, its a high energy high pressing game or a tight defence and breaking. Wenger is a posession person and the way we go about it, when the pressure is on it all breaks down, always has and always will. Yes I think players can improve us but i'm sorry the teams next year and the managers coming in are streets ahead of wenger in winning top trophies. The player thing is only part of the problem. I have made statements in the past and I have not been far wrong, about giroud, mert, our league chances and champs league efforts etc. Well my statement is we will never ever win the league with wenger or the champs league, he's yesterday.

Sano I like coq elneny welbeck iwobi cazorla bellerin kochelny etc but the only players we have you can say have that X factor are cech ozil and sanchez they have won big trophies, all the others have all shown glimpses but not the temperament to produce top performances all season and in big games.

For once Steve il agree with you lol. Although I think elneny and coq are capable of winning the league as our DM's but there's no point even debating that with our CB and CF problem. One thing I do disagree with Is Ramsey I think he is still a key player for us. His work rate and energy is brilliant for me. Perhaps it's not as obvious because the other players rarely press as you say. We really could talk each other to death about where we're going wrong. Wonder if the board and Arsene talk like this lol.
