Use our rumours form to send us arsenal transfer rumours.

Ed, do you think Arsenal will bring back Joel Campbell in the summer? He would be a quality addition to the squad as Walcott is our only true winger.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

I think Campbell is more of a striker than a winger I've seen him play a couple times he's frustrating to watch out wide but he's finishing when he has a chance is clinical he has good pace and I would like him to be in our squad next season with Bendtner and park leaving

Campbell's goal was sumptuous (proper football pundit word there ;-) )
I like my left footedwingers playing on the left but that finish was awesome. I can't imagine him playing rw for us, but clearly he's a top player. Just hope he's given his chance unlike vela was.

My friend (a Real Madrid fan) said today that he thinks Arsenal will be relegated in 10 years form now. My answer? we have a profit of over 100 million. we have a stadium that is top of the class and that we have a new sponsorship deal coming up. I shrugged and smiled at him. Now I don't live in England (Indian actually) but how much do you think I should bet him on? I want to have a good deal and asking my fellow gooners how much do you think inflation will go up within 10 years because i'd like to buy an island. :D COYG!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi Canon I'd bet him the same amount Real spend on sacked manager compensation over the same period.
Should get you Manhattan island I reckon, inflation proof plan with interest I'd say

Agree0 Disagree0

Cannon Balls. It's a shame it's your friend. Because if it wasn't and he could afford to pay then you could be looking at retirement in 10 years time. I wish I knew if a betting office that would offer me that bet.!

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool fan here,
can't think of a team less likely to be relegated in the long term! haha

Liverpool fan here

Man Uctd lost 2;0 but the manner of their defeat was a million miles away from how you lost to Bayern.

Arsenal really looked to part and fine margins cost you.

United made a Greek side look like world beaters. United really are poor this season.

Long may United struggle. Hopefully we get the chance to put them out of their misery when we go to Old Trafford.

RVP is a shadow of the player that he was. No way should you consider re-signing him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well I think my old friend CTR is reading my posts from last year predicting this fall and crying in his mothers arms ( I think he still stays home with his mother, obviously in london)

But United look lethargic, players minds are elsewhere, have they given up, is moyes not up to it, player unrest, who knows.

why he did not play janujaz is beyond me.

why he played ferdinand is also beyond me.

why he played smalling at RB is beyond me.

in regards to van persie, he has never shone on the big stage, at arsenal and now there.

he missed sitters against madrid last time around, and I have lost count at the sitters when he played for us in the CPL.

for me he does not have that edge to kill a game, never did.

was quite impressed with the Arsenal loanee, did not expect him to play so well.

Man utd have their problems, perhaps they will throw 150 mill and fix it. they have thrown 50+ mill at rooney anyway.

this summer will be a tricky one for all big clubs. money talks and if united play the game they can beat the competition, but if they try the Arsenal or liverpool way, its a long way back, and i'm not sure moyes will last that long, going by these performances.

Hi Tommy Gunn,

Thank you kind Sir.

I watched Utd game, jeez they were absolutely shocking.

After seeing what we did for Bergkamp, united went one better and actually played a statue of Rio Ferdinand.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ha ha Akie, there's a gr8 line on our page re Shane Ritchie too lmao.

Agree0 Disagree0

Love it Akie.

Simon, yes I saw that Shane Ritchie joke on the 'pool page, cracked me up.

Top post of the whole 'anti Man U Genre'

Well done Akie

There's something very satisfying about watching Joel Campbell burying Man Utd. Fantastic placed finish. still not 22 yet.

Hi the word
I'm so sorry I have caused you such embarrassment by telling the Liverpool fans how much I admired their ability to applaud Jon Jo Shelvey' s goal Sunday at such a crucial time in the game.

Can I also ask for previous crimes to be taken into consideration, I have praised the way they stayed behind to applaud us being crowned champions at Anfield on the last game of the season when Michael Thomas scored the winner, personally I doubt many other fans could have been that humble that night.

I would also like to say although I haven't posted it but I think the way they backed Peter Crouch when he went? How many game without a goal when he first arrived was brilliant too.

Thierry Henry also said he was impressed by the Liverpool fans conduct when he played for us.

I only hope word you can one day find it in you to forgive me for letting you down.
As for Henry! Well he can grovel to you himself.
Oh and by the way best fans in the world? Did I really use those words? I've checked since and still can't see them.
Not only a traitor but one with bad eye sight too, I just gets worse for me doesn't it

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I've said it before and I'll say it again, liverpool and the arsenals fine fans will always unite in our hatred of United

Agree0 Disagree0

G62 I agree with you, I think Liverpool fans have been fantastic on here and in the stands.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to agree,

the 'pool fans are a classy bunch and I will be the first to go on their page to congratulate them when they finish runners up to us this year, lol.

(are you watching Simonpw?) lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Aw shucks Dags,
ya got me blushing now lol ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you guys along with us are the best supporters in the world. And that's not bias talking its just plain fact.
LFC supporter's have always had an ability to realize when a piece of footballing brilliance has been achieved and are always the first to applaud it.
It doesn't matter if it has come from the LFC squad or from another team or opposing player.
You guys have given some fantastic banter in the past and have never tried to "lord it over" and for that you will always get the pools respect.
Look at how UTD have dominated and instead of being humble there supporters have rubbed the noses of other fans for far to long.
I have never been one to like to see other teams struggle but with UTD I make an exception because of this. Long may it continue.
I wish you well for the rest of the season. There are still twists and turns to come I am sure. But our 2 sides have done it the hard way.
We both play attractive attacking football which is a joy to watch. And if all things were fare then both teams deserve to be where they are in the respective positions in the league.
I have posted here and said this before. And I take no shame in saying it again. If LFC fall short in winning the EPL this season it would give me the greatest of pleasure to see you guys lift it.
Your supporters are class. Your team is class. And I wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
BTW. Go spank Bayern by 4 or 5 and make us all happy.

Eds can you please tell me the exact stats on TV5 since he has been at Arsenal. Not too in depth just time at the club, time out injured will do. I reckon he has been injured for over 2 seasons if you put it all together probably more. Thanks boys

{Ed002's Note - I don't have the time for such things.}

Look on transfermarkt.

With Chelsea looking to sell Lukaku, would everyone be happy for him to come to Arsenal? Motor mouth and a little lazy, sure, but maybe the striker we've been looking for.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hey NE,

I would rip Chelsea's hand off for Lukaku, but Mourinho would never sell him to us. He wouldn't even give us Demba Ba on loan ffs lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not for me, good but not the class I would like to see. We are looking for world class I hope not mid table prem class. Plus I don't think he is too different to giroud.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he's a pretty class act, Steve, plus he's still only young. You never know TG, he did sell Mata to utd.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im with TG on both counts, I would snap their arm off but doubt they would sell to us.
The fact they sold Matta to utd! Well we can only draw our own conclusions on that one.
Knowing mourinho he would want Ramsey Wilshere and Walcott in return

Just incase you guys didn't know, there is a good reason to watch the Manchester United game tonight as 'joel campbell' should be starting!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes we might actually have a striker able to score against them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Also itv are showing it, it's nice that smaller games like that are covered on TV

Agree0 Disagree0

First touch, gets evra booked :'D

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a goal and a half, I had a 'bergkamp hand to the mouth in disbelief' moment when he hit that

What a goal from Joel Campbell!

The more I saw DB10 this weekend, the more it felt like he was home, the more I hope he's our next manager, and that he's at the club for 20 years if not longer.

Everything about Dennis Bergkamp exudes class. The way he played. The way he carried himself. Who he is as a person.

You can tell he has a personal attachment to the club that is very strong.

Similarly, you see countless fans, not just of Arsenal, but of football in General, who shower praise on him.

I'm so happy he got his statue.

He started the revolution, the headliner who took us to the top and kept us there.

Having him as manager and Thierry as the general manager, in a Vieira type of role at City, would be so cool. Two guys running the club which has statues of them outside their ground. True Arsenal men.

One can dream.

Here's to you Sir DB10

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That would be great Bergkamp and Bould as managers and Henry as club ambassador like Viera wow that would be all bases covered! defense and attack from some of the worlds best!

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree fellas. The half time interviews (pitch side) are normally a minor attraction as people are either queueing for the gents/ladies or their (expensive) snacks. But on Saturday, not only was the stadium still full, but everybody was listening and hanging on the great man's every word. It was pure entertainment and a little emotional. That was total mutual respect and still gives me goose-bumps thinking of it now. The guy is a first class gent and an Arsenal legend. Cannot wait for him to return.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't mean to whizz on your parade guys but Bergkamp still hasn't gotten over his fear of flying if I'm not mistaken?

Wouldn't this make champions league away fixtures awkward? Oh and pre-seasons in Asia etc?

Just my thoughts.

Greetings Arsenal fans,

LFC fan here.

Fantasy time now but just interested in your opinion on which 3 LFC players (if any!) you would take if you could (ignore Suarez as I presume he's a cert).

If I had to take 3 AFC players it would be Ramsey, Koscielny and Sagna.

Would have included Ozil and Wilshere but it's in defence where we are weaker.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Without being bias toward arsenal, but I'd only really have 2, Henderson and Suarez.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Janman
If Suarez is not available I would have Sturridge Stirling and Henderson, 3 with massive futures

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice post.
1) Suarez
2) Sturridge
3) Sterling

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally only coutinho probably not even Suarez

Agree0 Disagree0

We'd be foolish to take Suarez, after the attempt last summer to sign him I think the world sat back and appreciated how disloyal he is. At Arsenal we have had too many of his type, we don't need another RVP.
I would take Sturridge, he may be too selfish but he'll learn, especially under Wenger. The only other player I would take is Mignolet as back up to Sczcesny, as I fear we might lose Fabianski in the summer.
Sterling is like another Aaron Lennon, his decision making is poor, but then again Theo turned that around and he's still very young.
Oh and of course we'd take Gerrard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez is a no-brainer. Not Sturridge though - he is fantastic but Giroud, Podolski and Suarez would be more than enough!

I would still go for Gerrard - he's been spectacular this season and developed into the kind of deep-lying midfielder that I think would work fantastically for us.

Finally, odd choice but I'd go for Sakho. Has huge potential and squad depth at CB is a bit of a problem for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Janman,

Good question mate.

I would take Sturridge, Sterling and Flano (developing into a decent little player).
