Not Arsenal related but best wishes to Bryan Oviedo, looked a really bad break. He was looking great for Everton and wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Yeah it looked like nothing in the challenge, then the realisation iwas horrible.

Stevenage is as scummy as their pitch btw

im surprised they didn't call call it off, but good TV £££ for my local club!

Good post. Our club has had plenty of players with horrific injuries over the years. Hope he can get back to his best.

Eduardo, Diaby and Ramsey in recent times have had horrific leg or ankle breaks and it takes a lot to come back from. However, Ramsey has shown it's not always career threatening and he is showing the world his talents!

Hi all,

Little bit of an explanation and an apology to NB52, my post last night was tongue in cheek as he was on for a hatrick but it was for air shots. Did feel sorry for him in honesty, he was trying and it could only happen to him.

The apology is because despite his faults he is a Gooner and I'm grateful for the goal he got against Cardiff to set us up for the three points.

Think we all know in the words of Obi Wan, he's not the striker we are looking for, but while he's here I hope he gets us more invaluable goals if he's called upon.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Other than the occasional touch, last night was the last time I hope to ever see him wear our jersey

Well past expiration date

Just want to say a few things:

1) In the summer we had 100s of rumours and Draxlers name was substituted with Gonzalo Higuain. Pretty sure we agreed a fee (although RM later renegaded on a deal and raised the price).

2) Higuain had 127 "medicals" over the summer and still didn't sign.

3) Up until 24hrs before, no-one mentioned Mesut Ozil signing for Arsenal. Then boom! There he was holding an Arsenal shirt!

So everyone just relax and forget about it, Wengers repeatedly proven his knowledge and ability and he's not stupid. If there's a signing to be made, he will try to make it happen. More importantly we need 3pts from Southampton away!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Absolutely, in arsene we trust.

A little bit of Banter please, from Mourinho latest comments I think the pressure is showing on him, this reminds me of what Bentiez did to fergie sometime ago and Fergie had the last laugh.

Coming out and making statements directly at wenger, while wenger was calm, he says wenger always complains and then he in turn moans about us having an easier fixture list (again similar to what bentiez said abt Fergie that Utd always play on Sats or Suns and get maximum time to rest and prepare), well whose the real one complaining now

Believable0 Unbelievable0

To add to the above post Mourinho has always been sore ever since Ozil has come to the Arsenal, Quotes from Mourinho --

"Arsenal are now title contenders",

Talks about Arsenal selling Ozil to Manchester United and he would have no problems.

Doesnt agree to give us Ba on Loan even, but agrees to sell Juan Mata to United after playing them twice. I think can see on whom the pressure is piling.

I have no inside information just my opinion, Draxler won't be playing for us until next season if ever, poldolski won't be going anywhere this widow or the next 3 or 4.
If Arsene signs anyone of note in this window it will be a striker and most probably one that takes us all by surprise ( be it happy or bewildering) and someone no one has seriously mentioned before.

Just what I think but of course I have been wrong before, 1974 I think it was

I would be amazed if Arsene was even thinking of off loading Podolski for any reason. He is one top bloke and I think Arsene knows that.

Draxler is the same old, might, may, will, could do, now, later, never and so on.

Like you I'm just waiting and have a feeling he is planning something but not a clue what.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree, we have to keep Podolski, he loves Arsenal and Arsenal loves him.

What do people think of Bony from Swansea to Arsenal

Limerick Gunner

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Decent player who's scored a few goals but I think we need to set our sights a little higher to the Cavani's of the world. Ozil has set the bar and we don't want to limbo back under it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very good player, scored 31 goals in 31 games in Holland, decent striker.

1st post.this is a good site but many people ie Malaga ruin it due 2 there complete bs!we don't need draxler our mid is rubbish hot, we need another striker Nothing else at the present! Giroud needs help up there!r we stil looking at Jackson Martinez?the bloke is a goal scorer and would tear teams apart in the box!
Come on you gooners!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - That's a little unfair, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think Draxler would be a great signing}

Its people opinions mate. don't make it personal to people. I can see its your first post so try and keep things pleasant on here. that's how everyone rolls on here.

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as Malaga does spout some outrageous rumours, don't forget, it's only a banter/rumours site. People can express themselves.

Right, I'm off to London city airport to fly over to Barcelona to bring over Messi for a medical.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its your fault if you choose to believe any rumours on here,

as your first post ill give you some advice, don't trust malaga, laugh with us at his dreamworld :P

sometimes even the red txt is wrong!(rarely though eds!)

Agree0 Disagree0

Welcome on board UTA
Our page is a fantastic menu of flavours from a all over the world, some meat and veg recipe's others are full of flamboyant fragrances (flybo) Malaga adds some much needed spice that many enjoy but others find not to their pallet.
But that's the thing here you don't have to order anything that's not to your taste just keep reading down until you find what you like and tuck in mate

Agree0 Disagree0

The key thing up the arsenal is the timing - if we wait until the summer his price will sky rocket - he is muted to become a striker, and we have Giroud and Podoski and TGSWEL - Draxler would be the new RVP, let's hope he has more faith than RVP did. Wenger proved RVP completely wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

Good analogy G62, love it.

I was fortunate to have been given four tickets to last nights game and apart from having a great time as you all know watching live you a better perspective than watching the match on TV so here goes . Bentdner. absolute embarrassment! what in the World is he doing in an Arsenal shirt? if anybody recorded the first half watch it again and count how many touches of the ball he had, I think it was 3!. How can Arsenal call him the back up striker to Giroud we are mugging ourselves off. As for the display in the second half when AGAIN! he fluffed the shot well what can I say? He can't run, he can't shoot, can't dribble. I'm convinced our boys don't want to pass to him and what's more Ill have a bet with anyone that there are lots of Sunday teams out there that he couldn't be a striker for. Matter of fact if you think I'm going mad have a look at the Coventry striker Bentdner is a boy compared to him. Sorry boys Arsenal player (that's a joke) or not he is a 50 odd grand a week absolute waste of money. Danish International? they must be talking about Danish Pastries and he represents Denmark in cake eating. Apart from that rant we did what we had to do and I And my sons had a great time. FLYBO. Long lost son . after realising I had some tickets for last night. Sorry son I got your post too late your brothers would have loved to have seen you but give my love to mum . LOL

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No problem GOLDBOY. I'm not bitter! One of the reasons mum said it didn't work between you was because you were tight. FREE tickets and "not getting my post in time, " It's all there! It's as obvious as a Bendtner performance.
Glad you and the boys enjoyed yourself though :-)

Thoughts on Coventry:
- Ozil played very well! One of his best games so far not only due to his fantastic skill on the ball but also the fact that he actually tracked back and defended. He slowed their counters well and pressured the backline/keeper.
- Good to see Zelalem play. He made an amazing pass forward to someone on the top of the box
- Jenkinson needs to be more comfortable on the ball. His touch and lack of decisiveness is letting him down. He did make a few great runs and crosses

Believable0 Unbelievable0

(id love for this to be the case but I doubt it is but yeah some banter :P)

good to see how much better the Prem is compared to the spanish top flight,

ozil's performance vs a league 1 club looked like he was back at madrid again,
just goes to show if you aren't Real or barca in the spanish league the quality of team drops significantly

is ozil world class or are the spanish teams just so poor?

:P
