Missed game today, had a nice 2 and a half hour drive to visit my Sister, who was celebrating her 50th birthday.

And surprise surprise, she doesn't have sports channel, grrr.

By all accounts, didn't miss much.

I was sitting on the train for eight hours - Aberdeen to London. Awful. Went passed the Emirates at 4 o'clock so I missed the game. Load of rubbish!

The game to me showed we can now hold our own if not better with our main competitors because we know how to defend as a team.

More upgrades in the summer will not see us left behind next season. The difference money and a DM make. :-)

To be fair, if they weren't ahead of us they wouldn't be able to play for a draw, but yes I can't stand such negative boring football. I also don't understand why mourinho is praised as a tactical genius for it, most teams in the bottom half play for a draw they just don't have hundreds of million to spend to get them.

i don't like it, but it was expected, they played for a point and got what they wanted. fair play to them. we should have been more clinical to put some pressure on them. hopefully we can improve this summer.

Very well said LemonTree. Sam Allardyce does the same thing with limited budget but get criticized.

{Ed025's Note - sometimes you have to watch the game without red tinted specs sen, im by no means a lover of chelsea, but they has the best chance in the game and were denied a stonewall penalty and ospina sent off for the challenge on oscar mate..

The second half Ed - they wasted every second possible, boring subs and 2 subs just to waste time

Yes they will be champions but JM plays for a draw first - he has had more than most spent on his team yet they bore everyone

I agree- we should have done more in the second half and played with a bit more urgency but I won't ever admire JM.

I have admired many champions over the years - Utd, Liverpool and even City but this years Champions bore the pants off of me. Not sour grapes, just my opinion.

I totally understand what you say Ed025.

I wasn't talking about this Arsenal match in particular, but about the way Mourinho sets his team up. Basically he's killing football for trophies and blame Arsene a specialist of failure.

We certainly has to appreciate Arsene for the way he sets up his team.

{Ed025's Note - i think arsene is quality sen, but you have to realise that chelsea are 2nd top scorers in the prem, and that while all around them were faltering they were battering teams, so who can blame them if they coast in..

As boring as it is, you can't criticise the tactics. He is doing exactly what he needs to win. I hate to say it but I can admire Chelsea because its so rare to see a defence that is winning the title for them, its not exciting but its different.

Great result from Everton today. Definitely helps us out. We need a result now.

If you nullify the Fellaini long ball threat and stay tight on their wingers, they have no plan B do Man utd.

They think because they have all the possession they are playing fantastic, like against Chelsea, and they were hard done by. When really that was chelsea's game plan. Cancel out their threats and let them pass around the back four and see what they can do, when teams do that man u don't have an answer.
