Benteke goal. Very very good. I never got the Kane hate on here either. The guy will only get better.

Madrid bound, ala Bale.

Dags that wet lump of clay has only gone and scored again lol. You remind me of Paul merson he says every week spurs will lose and we win every week. and you say Kane couldn't score in a brothel and he keeps banging them every week.

Evening Raver,
Kane scored 30 goals last season and won FA.

Gibbs scored 1 goal last season and won FA CUP.

Who's ya Daddy? :-)

Has he joined Madrid yet?

Pre-contract agreement is in place Lakes.
Bale and Kane? Fantastic team Spurs have, sorry I mean Madrid.

Arsenal are Barcelonas feeder club eg fabregas, henry, song but they ate not interested in any of your players at the moment as they won't improve their team lol. All of your players have walked out on you to win things eg nasri, sagna, fabregas, song cole, van persie, henry, adebayor, vermalen, clichy I could carry on. and you lot have the cheek to say spurs are a selling club ha ha ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Nov 2015 22:00:04
Raver,
These players didn't leave, we sold them to fund our move to Emirates.
Like you sold Bale to fund your descent into mediocrity.
Fabregas did well at Barca, but only because he was hanging off the coat-tails of Messi, Iniesta and Xavi.
Same with Henry, but when we sold him he was nearly finished.

Song hardly played for Barca, and we got £12m for him, and look at him now, on West Ham's treatment table.
We got £15m for Vermaelen and he hasn't even wore the Barcelona shirt in 18 months.

We got £24m for Van Persie, he had one good season under Fergie than got shipped out by LVG.

Nasri is a no good mercenary who occupies either the City treatment room or the City bench.
Same with Clichy.

Adebayor is a money grabber who went to City, had 12 good games, than lost all credibility by signing for Spurs, goes to show how downhill his career went.

I will give you Cole. A success at Chelsea but still a money grabber.

We sold all of the above for financial gain, funded a magnificent stadium and are probably a better team for it.

Let's see how you do when you move stadia and the vultures circle around Dele Ali and Kane.

Enjoy the sunshine, dark clouds will be descending over White Hart Lane come next Summer.

Dags stop with the ash cole money grabber. He left to earn what he deserved. We moaned about 5k a week for the best left back in the world. Our fault not his. He was a great buy for Chelsea.

27 Nov 2015 06:36:32
Derby,
Assuming the rumours are correct, it was 5k, but we will never know.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2015 08:54:34
ye 5k. what a joke mate. he was worth so much more.

27 Nov 2015 09:34:51
Wow, Spurs beat a mediocre team called Carrierbag and raver is on here gloating at the soon-to be Man U player scoring against them . Yes raver, you lot are the pinnacle of world football, we will all bow down to the majestic free-flowing football coming from such players as Dilly Dalli and watch in awe as Kane scores a wonder strike from two yards.

Agree0 Disagree1

27 Nov 2015 07:53:08
Raver, it's called jealously I'm a gunner and wish we had a striker like Kane.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2015 12:37:32
every club is a selling club raver, i do not dispute that players have left us and won things elsewhere, but we also have won a few trophies and i'm sure we will win some more.

i can't say the same about spurs, kane will be sold, and probably some others, and then the money gets spent on 10 to be kane's and we are back to having this chat in 3 years time about the next big one of your own.

i guess that top 4 spot will decide.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2015 19:28:34
Your right they did walk out to win things, luckily we got good money for them though

Sol Campbell on the other hand walked out on you guys for naff all. and won lots of things.

Saw a good post on Toffee page.

Do you think it would be a good idea if our refs would swap with refs from other European Leagues, say 2 or 3 times per season, just to get a better understanding of how other leagues differ (if any) ?

January window. No excuse to not get a top top DM. £40mill or below whatever. Pay it and please the fans. Admit you messed up in the summer and make up for it.

One DM who would you all pick.

26 Nov 2015 12:44:57
Mikel Artetta he will like a new signing come January and keen to earn a new 5 year deal just like Rosick's :-) obviously a joke but many a true word said in jest and with Arsene you can't rule it out.

Paul Pogba.

26 Nov 2015 13:56:33
Bender/carvalho plus a CB, Howedes if possible.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Nov 2015 15:00:08
We'll probably end up with Jorginho which wouldn't be too bad. I'd still prefer a destroyer though.

Wanyama preferably due to the least amount of adaptation time.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - carvalho looks the most likely option LC..

26 Nov 2015 15:53:09
Eds question. Will Wenger pay his buyout clause. And we all know he doesn't like the influence mendes has on clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Carvalho has a release clause not a "buy out" clause and it is of no relevance to Arsenal. However, there is sustained interest in Carvalho from Arsenal and Fenerbahce with some residual interest from Manchester United. Monaco, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea passed on previous interest because of the cost. Sporting would ideally like to keep him a year or two more but know that is now unlikely. Everyone knows the price and it is significant and there seems little room for negotiation although he is not looking to sign a new deal and that may give some leverage.

If Arsenal do not wish to have dealings with Jorge Mendes then Arsenal should not have shown sustained interest in one of his clients - they are wasting everyone's time - including their own. Mendes was in England discussing two other players at the start of the week and he will soon return - if Arsenal wish to look for a deal with Carvalho they should talk with him.}

26 Nov 2015 16:56:01
Definitely Carvalho.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Nov 2015 15:50:38
Do you think Carvalho is ready to walk right into the first 11, fitness-wise and moving up in the quality of league or will he take a bit of time?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think he will fit like a glove rooster, the guy is a game changer and to be fair mate the EPL is not the strongest league, its certainly the toughest but i feel he is up to the task..

26 Nov 2015 18:48:26
So Arsenal won't deal with Mendes but are still interested in player they can't get because of an inpass, that's not like us MUCH.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Nov 2015 22:11:16
Its a release clause. Just as Diego Costa went for his release clause. Hel got for that price set 100 percent. Mendes isn't stupid.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Sorry. The release clause is nothing whatsoever to do with Mendes, nor Arsenal.}

27 Nov 2015 09:04:33
mendes negotiates his contracts eds and he also owns a percent of carvalhos rights. fact my friend.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Negotiating the contract is of no consequence. And Jorge Mendes owns none of his rights. You would do best to avoid such matters as "buy out" clauses, "release clauses", "rights" etc.. Clearly you are struggling to grasp any of this.

As I said, if Arsenal do not wish to have any dealings with his agentat all, then they need to stop wasting their own and the time of everyone else. They are, in your view, simply embarrassing themselves.}

27 Nov 2015 10:16:35
Clauses have nothing to do with the player or his agent.
It is put in place by the club to protect their investment.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Don't go there - you don't want to start embarrassing yourself as well.}

27 Nov 2015 11:20:43
dags when a player signs a deal a clause is agreed mate, not rocket science. you don't sign then the club goes btw you are worth 40mill to us to go. its all agreed before hand.

delph signed a new deal with a clause why so he didn't walk for free it was upto him. gave the club 8 million.

mendes is involved in many players image rights through 3rd party off shore investments .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Why do you keep embarrassing yourself? Carvalho's rights are owned by Sporting Lisbon. None of these clauses that you are so keen on are of any relevance to Arsenal whatsoever. Move on.}

27 Nov 2015 11:58:58
..........dribble deleted........

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - You are talking absolute rubbish. You need to just stop posting all of this nonsense.}

27 Nov 2015 12:26:38
eveyrthing i said was true please this one on just this one

so you telling me mangala was just owned by porto? false mate part owned he was.

this should be a freedom of speech site i'm only putting my point across.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I haven't said anything about Mangala you idiot. You spout all of this nonsense about "buy out clauses" and about Jorge Mendes owning the rights to Carvalho - it is all rubbish.

Additionally it is nothing to do with "freedom of speech" - just you wishing to spread your ignorance of such matters.

You are going to have to let this go and move on.}

26 Nov 2015 10:41:08
What do you guys think of Pato? Do we need another striker. Edu says Arsene has enquired about him. I think we shouldn't sign another striker, we already have 3. Another CDM and a CB only if he's world-class should b our priority.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

26 Nov 2015 11:45:55
Not a fan. another bit part player. Let Liverpool get him and we nixk coutinho.

Oh sorry, thought you said potato.

Question,
If we 'drop' down to Europa League, do we have to play the same squad that we named at the start of CL campaign?

I'm assuming yes.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - No, you register a squad at the start of February for the latter stages of Europe.}

26 Nov 2015 08:48:02
Lets see how things go between now and February before we worry about naming a weakened squad for the spursday night league, we might just be glad of it if we go back to how we were before Le Coq emerged.
I'm not saying that's going to happen we might still be well in both the champions league and title race in February but there's equally as much chance both could be distant dreams by that time.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Nov 2015 11:47:00
Iv had a feeling an arsenal spurs final is on the cards. What happens if the winners of the Europa finish top4 anyway.

Cool,
Thanks Bond.

Ps, bad news about Scott Brown?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It isn't half mate, it was going to be a struggle getting through our EL group but without Brown in the team it makes it even more difficult.}
