5-1 win.

Mö puts in a top performance, tracked his runners, scored, assists, PEA scores, Lacazette scored, brilliant all round.

What I will say is Xkaha was missed, there was a few times where Guendouzi and Torreria lacked the calmness that Xhaka brings and lost possession a bit too easily.

Love it when Jenko starts, regardless of the consequences, he's living all our dreams.

Koscielny who is 33 and coming back from a career threatening injury looked up to speed and hopefully that injury is nothing more than an impact one that he can shake off.

Over the next few weeks we will see what he are about, if we win against Spurs and get a results against United, things are looking up and we could soon see ourselves in 3rd, however, if those results go against us it could be 3rd season in Europa League.

*Gulp*.

Excellent result tonight and totally agree about Spurs United games, win those both and it would be a fantastic achievement adding real credibility to beating Huddersfield Southampton and Bournemouth.
Even 4 points from United and Spurs would be a really good return and coming away unbeaten would be very credible if not headline grabbing.

If selected Mesut needs to shine brightly and brilliantly v Spurs and United and make the drop me if you dare statement to Dick.
In this game of chess between the two it's in Arsenal's interest for a coming together of manager and player to find common ground.

I know a few of you like stats, so here’s a good one for some of the xhaka haters too, when he completes 90 mins arsenal have only lost once in 18 games.

27 Feb 2019 21:14:26
Or Arsenal are yet to finish top 4 since he arrived after 22 consecutive top 4 finishes prior to his joining us, stats are so manipulative you can use them as you wish to paint the picture you want to show.

Agree2 Disagree1

27 Feb 2019 21:41:01
In how many of the games he didn't finish 90 minutes, was he taken off at half time and how many games has he started been taken off and we lost. The guy is bang average, no pace and is out of his depth. Sorry he is dire.

27 Feb 2019 21:51:49
Has anyone ever really change there opinion based on stats?
We all say what we see then use stats to back up the opinion we already have.
In my opinion Xhaka has had about 5 really decent games this season which is about 4 more than in his first 2 seasons with us but is 1 decent game in 5 good enough?
Not for me.

Gunner, for me he is so limited in his ability, add that too, no pace and poor tackling. I am really really surprised though at how many people still champion him for very little. I think 80% of arsenal fans don't rate him at all but 20% want him to be what he can't ever be, i find it bizarre.

{Ed0333's Note - stealing a living as a football player.

28 Feb 2019 02:43:57
People slate Xhaka for his mistakes. And every single player in our team has mistakes on them. Why only Xhaka is being criticised? The mistake which Gwenade yesterday is of similar mould and none is questioning him (not that I want to question him) . As I mentioned before DLPs just need to control the game, which he has done quite effectively along with Torreira. The same cannot be said has happened yesterday. So he’s better than lot of people slate him for.

27 Feb 2019 22:51:50
I agree with you both Steve and Ed0333, but those who really rate Xhaka will find stats to support thier opinion and those of us who don't rate him have no shortage of stats to back us up either.
There are more people with jobs than at any time in history in the UK yet we have widespread food banks for the first time ever in this country, make of that what you will.

Its funny Ed 333 but opposition supporters see that but some arsenal fans can't or wont. He is bang average at best. But he's ours!

{Ed0333's Note - I’d love to know the player whose committed the most amount of fouls in the premiership surely he has to be right up there?

28 Feb 2019 05:42:20
Sen, i don't just question his mistakes, i question his ability to play premier league football week in week out at a high level of competence. And not that it matters but the "mistake" by Gouendouzi yesterday that led to a goal was not only a foul but an awful pass in an awkward position by the goalkeeper. Everyone makes mistakes anyway but its mostly about ability to do a job. Torreira made mistakes yesterday but the guy has great ability to play in the prem and has already shown more than xhaka in 6 months than xhaka in two and a half years.

Sen what games has Xhaka controlled?
I've never seen one mate.
I've seen him make a useful contribution a handful of times but as for controlling a game I'm lost as to when. I think he got man of the match v Newcastle but I can't remember him ever being named mom on any other occasions in 2.5 seasons.
Sorry mate but contributing in rather than controlling games I'd have thought was a more accurate description of his style.

This season everyone know how he has been alongside Torreira. They were doing decent work in our midfield. Also I would like to understand who in the top 6 team is extraordinarily better than Xhaka in the DLP role. I would think of Fernandinho, but he hasn’t got the passing range which Xhaka has. There is always a reason that 2 different (type of) managers rate him and gives him the starting spot in our team.

Sen ask other rival supporters, wether they would like xhaka in their team and you will get your answer.

Very big game for us tonight

I would love a 1 nil win and a third clean sheet on the trot.

I really believe if we win our next 3 games we will get top 4 or better.

Anyone else think we should have kept me coq, I always thought he was good enough for us if he had a good run of games would have only got better.

Yes 100% think we should have kept him Welsh, Xhaka in for 34 million and Le coq out for 12 million was rubbish business both on and off the pitch.
