Since I'm starting to feel like a stalker going to all these pages I wanted to ask two questions here.

1. Is there any players Arsenal are actually bidding for or talking to now? Basically are we active or just waiting for things to happen?

2. Are any players close to leaving and if yes what teams are in for them?

Plenty of things are being said and its really confusing to know what is going on.

From what I can gather, point 1 has been addressed multiple times

As for point two, Arsenal are willing to let the following go to some clubs who have either made inquiries or been quoted as interested) :
Jenkinson (West Ham) , Ospina (Galatasaray) , Debuchy (Bordeaux? ) , Wilshere (Fiorentina, Swansea) , Gibbs (West Brom, Newcastle) , Campbell (not sure if anyone is in for him, he'd injured) , and Perez (Deportivo) go (might have missed a couple) . The problem is that no clubs are interested enough to pay what Arsenal want yet. The window doesn't close for well over a month though so just be patient. Arsenal are probably willing to forego a big transfer fee just to get them off the wage bill.

It's a waiting game mate, it's like this every summer for all most every team, if we'd signed 10 new players by now people would asking with a month to go is there more to come?
Other clubs transfers effect everyone else's and I'm sure in this crsziest of windows there is a lot lot more action about to happen yet.

With clubs paying way over the odds for players this summer in order to attract the players they really feel will improve them there will be some real bargains to be had before the window shuts as everyone trys to Ballance the books by shifting out players who have slipped down the pecking order.
Just as examples Perez last season cost us 17 million but this season we'd be lucky to get 10 million and on the 31st of August probably 8 million would be enough as clubs panic sell before the window shuts.
On bargain
Ross Barkley 50 million or the Ox for 25 million?
Surely any potential buyers would see the Ox as their best bet.

Nobody will be paying £50M for Barkley. He's been pretty pants for a while, wants to leave, and has 1 year left on his contract, I think he will a bargain risk on deadline day for someone.
