Could the Cech transfer yet to be scuppered??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Of course - but I don't see that it will be.}

What makes you ask mate?
Why the sudden doubts?

27 Jun 2015 22:18:11
It has a hint of Higuain last season about it G62

A mate of mine in London tells me Chelsea are being a bit awkward , he has no reason to lie , he is a Charlton fan so no winding up going on.

on another note, how good would it be if the hairdresser signed

i think it's all good and any hold up will be with the gk coach but not we got petr cech, we got petr cech himself.
it would be brilliant to see nicky clarke join us but somehow i don't think it will happen but then again that's just me not getting my hopes up probably.

Good luck to the lioness's tonight, I'm not a massive fans of the womens game but I must admit I've taken more interest in this tournament than any other which boades very well for the game itself.
If even someone like me who thought just a short while ago women's football was as silly as blokes dancing round handbags wearing heels to actually even consider watching them tonight the womens game has come a very long way in a relatively short space of time.

I watched the 1st half then went to bed,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,great win for them Japan in the Semis , isn't it

28 Jun 2015 10:03:49
You lasted longer than me mate I watched the first half hour and saw them go 2 0 before I needed to kip.
Some decent players from what I saw especially the Canadians but England still looked a little kick and rush to me, two excellent goals though.

How ......

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I answered this question for you yesterday.}

27 Jun 2015 15:32:04
Not a rumour, just an observation. We r loaded in midfield, don't think Wenger will buy DMF, probably a CB and a striker along with Cech..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

27 Jun 2015 22:41:21
We are loaded at goalkeeper and center back mid field and striker, but not loaded with title winning, players. Itcall about upgrading to a squad capable of challenging for the league and champs league. So far we have challenged neither so proof upgrades in a few departments are needed.

Ed002 can I ask yours and anyone else who wants to tell me their opinion on Maxime Gonalons? I personally think he'd be a great fit for the cdm spot at arsenal, just want to know what others think.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I really try and avoid giving opinions on players.}

27 Jun 2015 22:23:18
Love him! I believe he has played CB on occasion too which would be fantastic if we happened to get him as unlikely as that is. He's like a less injury prone Javi Martinez but you know, not as good in my opinion.

28 Jun 2015 10:58:13
Ed, was it you that was mentioning 'marvellous Marvin martin' a few years ago, or was it another? ;-)

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about.}

27 Jun 2015 14:23:18
I have a funny feeling vidal will be coming with Joel Campbell going the other way plus 20 odd mil

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - No, that won't be happening.}

27 Jun 2015 15:00:02
I think if anyone is going the other way Theo is most likely, Ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - You have moved in to the realms of fantasy.}

27 Jun 2015 15:12:43
Fair comment Ed he was the only player I could think of that might be of interest to them who we'd actually considered letting go of, but obviously not.
You were 100% spot on with Petr Cech so what you say is good enough for me mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2015 16:15:26
I don't think juventus are interested in any of our players. Joel campbell is definitely not at the level to play for juventus.

{Ed025's Note - or hatlepool to be honest.. :)

Hi guys. Has anyone seen Ospina playing tonight? Absolutely fantastic. He was man of the match by miles

27 Jun 2015 12:35:26
I know some worldly save pulled off last night. Why would we be keeping shezzer over him?

27 Jun 2015 14:53:23
Home Grown Player.Shezz will stay, Ospina will go. Unfortunatelly

Tell ya what mate at the right club with the right manager he could be a player, another one of those who made the wrong move at the wrong time when he left Wigan.

27 Jun 2015 12:05:14
*when he left palace

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jun 2015 13:35:25
He's awful and should be nowhere near a top 6 club. Highly doubt spurs really do want him.

Agree0 Disagree1

27 Jun 2015 13:50:29
Moses is a good player I remember when he terrorised sagna

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jun 2015 13:54:42
i think spurs are being sensible. they want to build a core and build a competetive team, no quick fixes. if they stick to their plan they can be a top 4 team in 2 years time.

i think liverpool are in a similar boat, actually liverpool are a top 4 team, and the players they have are worthy of taking them there, but let's see which striker plays wingback when brendan decides to go all mourinho 2.0.

we sold some key players built a core and now we are in a better position. like many say we are 2-3 key players away from being geniune contenders, let's hope those 3 are added this off season.

Agree0 Disagree1

27 Jun 2015 08:46:01
Its all gone quiet on Theo's contract negotiations maybe he's waiting to see who arrives over the summer before signing, he wants to play down the middle so it would make a lot of sense for him to wait and see if Arsene signs Top striker before putting pen to paper.

Ospina absolutely brilliant against Argengina . Will it be a mistake letting him go?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

27 Jun 2015 08:57:19
What, because he has had a good game, wenger would have known his capabilities, a mistake....................no.

27 Jun 2015 09:35:12
I used to go out with a girl called Georgina, it was a mistake letting her go she had a cracking pair of footballs. ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2015 10:10:44
I went to school with her Red, Good old Georgie Girl, or just plain old George as he was known back then at The Queens Boys school

Now there's a question, my memory is somewhat blurred by the footballs,;-) it was back in '76 when I was 16 and Layla was released in '71.

I'm thinking she liked that long haired mob called "Sweet" if you remember them. Lol.

27 Jun 2015 12:34:19
And don't forget puppy love Red Dog :-)
Must have been around the same time I met that girl from Watford while on holiday, long blonde hair all the way down her back, none on her head though which was a bit off putting

27 Jun 2015 14:50:35
