Well we have mike dean against toots, obviously the fa or whoever appoints refs aren't bothered about blatently biased refs against certain teams. Deans statistics for pens for and against and red cards for and against for arsenal are damming and embarrassing. His record for arsenal is tantamount to cheating, i know refs don't cheat but he obviously does. We get nothing from him compared to other teams and the stats stack up to prove it. How a cheat like him is still reffing and reffing us is unbelievable. The cheat is back, don't expect any favours, just for starters.

You don’t be come a football ref if you don’t like football, you must admit it’s crass with dean. I’m sure there’s been arsenal refs over the years but with better acting skills 😂.

I don't know whether he's a cheat or not but surely the premier league should take into account unusually high stats from refs regarding certain clubs, it's not just a case of being clean is extremely important for the people in authority to be seen to be squeaky clean.
If there is anything that really stands out as questionable then why invite any possible bad publicity by appointing someone who rightly or wrongly has a poor reputation in certain areas.
If it's 50/ 50 who is going to give Dele Ali the benefit of the doubt on diving? And if Mike Dean makes mistakes on Sunday who will give him the benefit of the doubt v Arsenal.
Poor management by the people who make ref allocations in my opinion.

Alas, most Premier League referees tend to be dreadful. However, I have no reason to doubt their honesty.

Incidentally Steve of his decisions against Arsenal are there that many which have been shown to be incorrect in after match reviews?
I know for you mate sometimes your opinion can be all the evidence you need :-)
But are there many really contentious decisions with Mike Dean and Arsenal? Sometimes a ref might give 5 penalties against you in 5 consecutive games but if you commit 5 fouls inside your own area that is always likely to happen and it can be the the team not doing their job rather than the ref doing his job well enough.
Apart from opinion is there any real evidence of anti Arsenal from this ref?

Yes gunner, i read that the opposition are 6 times more likely to get a pen with him than us, nearly the same for arsenal reds. Plus compared to other teams in the league, he is likely to give a pen 6 times to any other team than a one to arsenal, again nearly the same stat for reds. Arsenal is the team he is most likely not to favour in head to heads or compared to other teams decisions over a season. But then again it could all be a coincidence. Lol.

Fair enough mate but I just wondered if there were stand out decisions that everyman and his dog agreed were awful and how many there were.
Obviously stats given an indication but they are not always reliable and can be manipulated to prove whatever point people want to make.
Personally I don't think refs cheat because once you start thinking that what's the point but I do know they are only human and can have comfermation bias just like the rest of us where we are all guilty of seeing what we want to see sometimes.

This should tell you everything two fist pumps and one of absolute dismay as spurs fail to capitalise. I do remember though both Mustafi and Sanchez goals last season were a bit iffy 😂

That's quite damning sanogo! The head shaking in frustration after the tackle in the final video. VAR can't come soon enough in my opinion, less possibility for refs to hide behind fallibility of human error. I'm sick of seeing a poor decision be analysed and be brushed over with the same old excuses "ref had a poor view" "hard to spot during the pace of the game" make sure they have no excuses.

I try Sanogo mate:-) being so imperfect (to say the least :-) myself It helps me understand other people's inadequacy more sympathetically.
Xhaka stretches me to the limit though I must admit and Deli Ali has so far proved beyond me completely :-) , although off the pitch Ali does seem like a decent enough bloke it's just on the pitch I completely lose it with him.
