swan 2 Arsenal 3:
And I am always wrong on score predictions so if you having a bet on tomorrows score avoid this one, I can't remember the last one I called right but I know it involved a Charlie George hatrick, and I do try I promise,

2 nil to the arse. double for olly. come on the boys

GUNNER62. Do you know what this could be the day you get it right! So with all the bad predictions you said you have made one has got to come through for you. So I might have a tenner on it.! 2-3 to Arsenal Charlie George to score ha ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

I maybe rubbish at predictions but at least inconsistently rubbish :-) not one of theses tipsters you can trust one minute and not the next. You know where you are with my tips.
I think that's a tenner I owe you Gold mate

Tues 29th October Chelsea (H) Carling cup
Sat 2nd November Liverpool (H) Premier League
Wednesday 6th Novemeber BDortmund (A) Champions league
Sunday 10th Novemeber Manchester United (A) Premier league.

Massive 2 weeks for us, hopefully we can beat napoli at home and the Bdortmund game won't be as much as an issue as the other games.

Hey Olber,

Good post; I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about those fixtures!

Hopefully by then injuries are less of an issue.

Upwards and Onwards,

Hey there Eds and fellow Gooners,

I did not get to see Kreonke's interview, but from what I have read from transcripts, it appears clear that:

- Wenger is signing a new contract
- Ozil is only the beginning
- There will be substantially more funds available

I would love to know what you guys think about this and what it means for the future of our club. It would be great to hear Ed002's thoughts as well, but of course any of the Eds coments are always appreciated.

Arsenal Forever,
Trinidad-Gooner

Mourinho has said that he will be putting out there u21 team against us.This is because they have a league game on the sunday and our game is on the Tuesday. This obviously gives us a better chance of going thru, although they do have a very good u21 team.

Hi Gooners

Good to be back in the hunt! first of all I was one of the arsenal fan who wanted wenger out, but after the ozil transfer, it changed my mind. there was no doubt about his coaching and managerial ability (world class). only thing that frustrated was the lack of any signing till the last day of the window. But after that it has changed my mind against wenger. Even if he does not sign in Jan (big signing is highly unlikely in Jan, but I believe he will sign couple of decent players in range of 10-20 million, simply because we are short in numbers in terms of squad depth to last a long season), I believe this has started something great at our football club. you know after the ozil signing there is feeling among top quality players that arsenal is also one of the clubs they can look for and win major trophies. whoever is saying ozil is a panic buying is an person . panic buying is not done for 45 million pounds and that to by Mr. Arsene Wenger . panic buys are like santos, bennayoung . How can you say ozil is a panic buy. are you crazy or what. He has not bought gareth Barry, but a world class playmaker you tops the most assist provided by any player in Europe last season. He already provided I believe 4-5 in couple of games he played. not counting the champions league game.

so think what you are saying Mr. whatever.

Back in the hunt . for what?

Hope you are not saying the PL? We are a long way from that .

Agree0 Disagree0

With Utd Chel and City all under new management their future fortune's are in the balance and could go either way.

Turns out that Arsene had a point at the start of the season when he said our stability gave us an advantage over our main competitors . at the time I thought he was covering up for no new signings but now?
I'm not saying we will be 1st but its not beyond question and 2nd or very close 3rd is realistic in my view

None of us are really sure if the quite american means what he says but we can only hope he does.
What is for sure is for the first time in what seems like decades this summer we not only kept all our best players but signed a truly world class player no one really thought we could attract :-) (still pinching myself)
We are top of the league and all the signs are positive of us being on the rise again, so I think its time to put old scores aside with the chairman manager and even NB52 and give all a fresh start regardless of our previous opinions.

If we expect change from others surely we have to be open to changing our views on them. Let's all get behind the club, manager players and even chairman and see what happens.

There's never been a better time to do so

The best of it is you have the supercilious bitter jealous manc that is CTR on your page desperate to put you down because of the state of his wretched little team.

The one full of deadwood and out of form cr4p they have no hope of selling and even gave one a new 5 year contract. Add to that a manager out of his depth and had to be told how good Kagawa is.

Yep life is rosey for a Manc but only if you're wearing an epic pair of those tinted glasses hey REDman. Can't believe my luck finding you here making a tool of yourself here too.

Good luck to you Gooners, it's between us City and you, won't be a lot going on at the Theatre of broken dreams this year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol between u, city and arsenal Marcellus u are deluded even on this page.
The only thing going to chelsea this season is a new manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

Marcellus
We're not bothered by the mancs, in a few years half of them will be Arsenal supporters.
CTR may change his sign off name to CTG.

MKD,

The boy CTR isn't even a genuine manc just another young plastic who jumped on a band wagon and thinks he's something special.

All the Mancs can see their team is on the slide but it's a different thing to have the nuts to admit it. Their page is wallowing in misery.

Much as I don't like it, we are going to have way more problems from Arsenal now than Utd. Even I can appreciate what Wenger had achieved and what he's quite likely to repeat.

If it wasn't for the scousers front men playing collectively like Welbeck, Utd would be out of the COC too. They were pants again!

Agree0 Disagree0

That's just terrible calling CTR a plastic fan. I'm sure his closet is stocked with Manc kits. Red ones, black ones and his now favorite, the baby blue ones.

Does anyone know what this big news is stan is waiting to reveal and how it will get us extra cash?

Silent Stan has said that he has no intention of selling arsenal and there will be major funds avaliable for Wenger in January and that we are on the verge of something big.

He also said he is desperate to win the prem as he's not getting any younger.

His only regret is not getting involved sooner.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I can't really be certain, but the effect of commercial deals is similar to the US now. Big market teams will thrive in such a commercial structure.

the purchase of Fulham, the new stadium for west ham, the search of a new one for chelsea, the only other teams who stand chance commercially are the mancs. and Manchester United has a massive head start in that regards, but the strides arsenal has made in the last 5 years without a trophy has been simply astonishing.

the fan base, global appeal, world wide commercial contracts. If they add a trophy to it the outcome will triple. I read awhile back how the aim of the club was to be among the biggest by 2016 and then to take the club to another level.

Arsene always said his dream was to make arsenal the biggest in the world. not quite there. but commercially the second biggest from England. and 5th overall.
