Chelsea had 10 men against West Brom, not the other way around.

Sorry Dags. But if the general point that he's making is that Chelsea stink, then I still concur.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Sep 2015 13:47:12
That's more like the Ubi I know ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Everyone should be used to playing a team with more players. Because up until fergie retired every time someone played United it was like playing 12. I wonder how many bungs happened in his reign

Hi gunners, wanted to pop over and congratulate you on your recent victory over us. The best team on the night won so fair play. I know it's late but had a lot going on in real life more important but as I'm a man of my word I thought better late than never. All the best for the season.

Top man 85 good to hear from you as always mate, great result for you yesterday though.
I must admit I'm a little worried people on your page are starting to listen to you and might just back Poch for a while, not good that mate :-)
Raver needs to up his game and get his Brendan to spurs campaign back on track as this sensible approach is so unspurs like which is a,little worrying :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 22:38:54
Respect 1985.

Hope you sorted out your other problem mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 23:07:32
Haha 62 unfortunately it won't last long, high expectations of us spurs fans make us short sighted unfortunately. I'm optimistic for a steady season though.

thanks Dags. Unfortunatly no, but I'm a spurs fan so i'm used to picking myself up from the ground lmao.

All the best guys.

We need to beat utd by 2 clear gpoals to go ahead of them by alphabetical order :-), its cheap but I'd take it with a delightful grin.

But without the Flamster, might be tough ๐Ÿ˜‚

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 19:25:49
Won't it go down to goals scored?

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 20:13:07
Yeah I think they've scored 12 and us 10 but they've also conceeded 2 less, I think :-)
I'm sure someone will correct me if I've got it wrong as isn't totally unheard of :-(

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 20:17:53
G62 did his homework, if we win 2:0, we will both have scored 12 and conceded 7, so hence, down to the old alphabetical rule ๐Ÿ‘

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 21:12:43
I'll take one offside goal to nil and then move on. Not bothered in games like this where it means more than three points how they come about. Trouble is it will probably be them who win with the offside goal.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 21:16:41
Cheers Sussex mate, Its always worth checking my maths as I've been known to put 2 and 2 together and get 0 before, its usually during the transfer window it happens mostly :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 21:50:04
Talking of transfer window G62, apparently Welbecks' op was fairly routine and he is likely back in November.
So, that's our January striker sorted!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 22:38:35
I don't know why but I've got a feeling Danny will shine big time in 2016 and do an Aaron Ramsey by winning over an army of doubter's.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Sep 2015 12:13:10
I for one don't mind welbeck he has pace and that kills any defenders and he will get chances anything a better than no pace on the wing

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 14:23:21
Must admit I'm not a massive Theo up front fan. But 12 goals in 13 starts really isn't a bad stat!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

27 Sep 2015 15:15:49
For years I've wanted to see him play there but in the early part of the season he looked so lost I reconsided my opinion on it, now II think just give him a 10 game run and let's see once and for all.
He's 26 and never going to be a very top winger he's much more of an Ashley Young that a Roben or Ribery out wide but up top the jury is still out for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 15:59:33
I totally agree! I really wish we could merge him and giroud into one player. Ones weakness is the others strength with them two. However i think we should be giving Theo a good 10 game run as you said. Thing is I can see Theo improving at cf. but cannot see giroud improving

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 16:08:46
Olly has lost confidence and Theo doesn't seen fazed by failure no matter how many he misses and Giroud is better off the bench imo

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 16:15:10
Id certainly give him a chance, one thing is with his pace the opposition would be stretched

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 17:32:19
D16,

We could call him Theoud.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 17:49:19
As long as it's an over active theoud not an under active on lol

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 18:10:36
Lol, agree Grow28.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 21:16:36
Giroud frightens no one, good player but doesn't scare you. Theo can and he's our best option with sancez and ozil at the moment. He is a better finisher than people give him credit for, but he can improve a bit on that too with time.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Sep 2015 11:38:42
Agree Steve, I've always thought he was a pretty good finisher too - usually picks a side of the goal and puts the ball right near a post and is capable of a good dink over the keeper too. The trouble is, when he misses, he tends to miss by miles.

gr8 result yesterday against an inform leicester team.hope we play our strongest team mid wk and go at utd from the off.its time to make the emirates a fortress .if we beat utd.i seriously think we can push on for the title.team.cech,bellerin,gab,kos,nacho,le coq, ramsey, ozil,ox,sanchez, walcott. move ramsey infield more of a goalthreat and play the ox for pace and power on the wing.keep utd on the back foot. id play gab wit kos to be able to track the runs of martial.mert to slow.bring on carzola later on in the game.

27 Sep 2015 20:50:18
Sorry but why drop Cazorla, he has more assist's than any player in the league so far.
Drop Ramsey I'm afraid and play the Ox, Ramsey doesn't give enough on the wing and good as he is he's no replacement for Cazorla at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im with you JPS..

27 Sep 2015 21:20:14
Caz for me at the mo would be the last player i would drop. The best all round player in our team , links everything.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Sep 2015 05:34:05
Ramsey won't get dropped esp against big teams, he provides better protection than the Ox..

Agree0 Disagree1

28 Sep 2015 07:24:01
Agree with the others. Cazorla was our 2nd best player last season, he cannot and will not be dropped.

Regards the utd game and us and utd fans having a little wager with each other, anyone up for the losing fans from this site donating ยฃ10 to UNICEF refugees appeal by text after the game?
If Chris and Honey are up for it maybe they could try and rally some support on their page and together we can make a small difference.
The nights across Europe are turning colder now and there are thousands of men women and children having to sleep out doors for the foreseeable future.
It would be a bit of fun but at the same time be a result for UNICEF and the refugee people who ever wins.

I'm cool with what the majority chose 28, maybe those who are up for it could join this thread and state the charity they would most like to benefit, losers pay and if its a draw both sets of fans pay up?

Have got to say that yesterday's game was the best I've seen from us in quite a while, unusual as it sounds but I think we needed to go a goal down for us to wake up. Most games lately I thought we just didn't attack fast enough where as yesterday we were lightning quick, Walcott is starting to make a pretty good claim at being our ST, that's the best game I've seen from him since his injury.

Let's not miss out Alexis, he seemed a totally different player today absolutely unplayable! Just like he was last season so that's a massive positive :) let's use this stepping stone for Sunday, got the mighty(ish) united coming to town so let's knock them down a peg or two.

One last thing, LCFC fans are some of the best I've known, I'm currently visiting family in Leicester and whilst wearing my gunners top in the little town I'm in a fan approached me and simply said "I've never been to the KP and applauded the opposing team for how they played" he then gave me a friendly hand shake and said he'd buy me a pint later that night, true gent lads!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

27 Sep 2015 10:41:40
Total nonsense , Leicester played open football , no intention of sitting back , they played the way we want teams to play so we looked good playing the game we wanted , just wait until a team decide to defend against us , we will look like we could nt hit a barn door!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 11:36:06
I think it's called been positive Rick. You are very right in what you say but this season we have even struggled against teams that have played against us and the back end of last season we broke down teams that played deeper. We need a good run and a positive outlook will do wonders for both the team and fans. We are 3 points off top and haven't hit form it's not all bad

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 11:45:12
Leicester went toe to toe with us went 1 0 up plus hit the bar and post, we capitalised on our good luck and went on to play well against a team who were pretty naรฏve, utd will be a completely different game and tell us if we might just might be outside contenders or are still every inch the great pretenders.
City and Chelsea are faltering and leaving the way open for us or utd to put in a challenge this season and Sunday will tell us if we stand any chance of it being us or not.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2015 12:29:54
I do think under LVG Utd won't be so defensive though 62, but agree with what you are saying , against a more clued up saide the result would have been so much different, but we should take the luck and 3 points .

Theo should again start up front, we are seeing what a threat we can be with pace

Lcfc fan in peace....
I would just like to say what an excellent bunch of fans we had down at the kp yesterday, topped off by a brilliant squad of players, good friendly banter too, God knows why you haven't won the bpl for a few years now but it will come, classy all round club and your welcome down the kp anytime....

You Sir are a Gentleman.

To return the compliment, LCFC play football the way it should be played and you have been a breath of fresh air since you arrived in BPL.

Thank you.

Blue fox

As one of the Arsenal fans there, thank you for your words but in life I've found people tend to react to how they are being treated an I found LCFC and its supporters to be friendly and welcoming.

One LCFC fan went out of his way to direct me from the car park to the ground, nice touches once inside was a sign thanking Arsenal supporters for travelling the 99 miles to the KP and staff in AFC polo shirts on the bar. Unlike most other places the stewards were friendly.

One comment away from the day- why does the press have a go at Claudio Ranieri-he strikes me as a nice guy! Double standards about his team selection as most other managers are allowed to "rotate" but when he does it the press lay into him for "tinkering."

After yesterday and the experience in and out of the ground I would love to see your boys have a great season.

Oops nearly forgot, as I walked away from the ground a guy who wasn't dissimilar in looks to Phil Mithcell gave me a shove lol. Then shoves his hand out and said "well done, that's the best football I've seen here for ages. That started a lot of good chats as we walked back to the car

LCFC are one of the good clubs to visit mate and yesterday was a football day out that even Carlsberg couldn't have made
