Charlie Austin most have one of the most consistent strike rates through out all the leagues he's played in, I'm amazed a big club hasn't gone in for him tbh

To balance the argument however, apparently (I didn't see it or the article' Madrid have said that he's still on tour with them, and that photo is from his holiday.
But them replying to a players personal social media account seems sketchy to me, or maybe I'm just after reasons to believe.

It would be great! And even though I don't think he's loads better than giroud he has bags of experience at the highest level and delt with big pressure in huge stadiums and won everything domestically . It would be a big big statement of intent

Strong reports that the striker we are after is Fernando Llorente. This would indicate that Wenger wants striking alternative/back up, in the same mould as Giroud, a tall striker capable of holding play up, to allow the fast attacking wide players and attacking midfield players to join the attack, with the benefit of a physical central striker holding up the play & laying the ball off.
