Nice to see the club changing the women's team name from Arsenal women to simply Arsenal.
Very positive move in my opinion as no one gets confused in the Olympics by everyone being part of team GB, the women's 100 metres and men's 100 metres events tells you all you need to know.
Mens premier league Women's premier league and we are quite simply the Arsenal either way, very in keeping with the 21st century I think.

I disagree. Arsenal Shirts and Arsenal Skirts would have been the way to go. Of course, in our case, Arsenal Skirts would be the men's team.

They actually changed it from Arsenal Ladies to Arsenal Women. The 'Women' is there as a formality and for differentiation from the men's side but they'll simply be known as 'Arsenal' when talking strictly about women's football. Still a nice touch though.

Look at Chelsea getting rid of costa bought his replacement already because as conte said the coach has to have full dressing room. Don't hear Chelsea fans moaning about losing best players. it's a team game sell Sanchez if he doesn't want to be here get a replacement move on. Doesn't matter how it makes you feel i.e selling club. Would rather have players who wanted to be there then didn't.

Conte has just won the title so the Chelsea fans will back his judgement on how to handle players best.
Arsene lost his personal battle with Sanchez at Liverpool, first in dropping him secondly by giving in at half time and allowing him the stage to win the argument hands down.
Arsene should have been stronger and won that personal battle even if it meant dropping him indefinitely.

If your not prepared to go the distance with a player don't have the fight in the first place.
Sanchez proved in that second half at Liverpool who needed who most, after dropping him in the first place only one thing could possibly make Arsene approach look worse and Arsene walked right into it. Very poor man management that day for sure.

Don't match his ambition? He played nearly every game and we had our worst season in 21 years! ISanchez isn't above and beyond we are his level, he failed at Barcelona he's showing he's talented but he's nowhere Near the top 5 in the ST position and maybe just scrapes in the top 5 for the wingers position. We should buy his replacement and let him sit on the bench, sell him when someone wants to match his wages or if he stays we should not freeze him out like suggested but he shouldn't be guaranteed a start.

Off the top of my head Carvalho Lemar and Mahrez would really make things exciting and no one could deny the club had shown real ambition to improve, I don't expect this to happen as I don't think any of us really know what to expect we could easily sign no one else or 4 more it's anyone's guess Moe mate but the 3 I mentioned would get my attention that's for sure :-)

Carvalho, Van Dijk and Lemar would do it for me G62. First 2 would give us a spine, with the latter a replacement for Sanchez (although would still prefer we keep him) . Would also like to see us keep the Ox.

Van Djik would be a brilliant signing but that isn't a realistic option for us. For one £70m+ isn't a price we will reach in this transfer window and Wenger already has 4 or even 5 options at CB.
William Carvalho. Now that is the signing we need! I would be very happy with Leon Goreztka if we couldn't get Carvalho but he is more attacking.
However, i still don't see us signing any of these!
Lemar. I reckon this will happen! Great signing! Still one or 2 positions away from a title winning first 11 though!

Totally agree the 3 players would strengthen the spine of team. Ox is another i hope stays.
If sanchez is feigning illness to push a move i haven't got time for players who do not want to wear the shirt no matter how good. Get maximum money out of him and move on. don't turn it into a spectacle for the media and distract from our premiership campaign. Either commit to our club or leave. Its simple.

I did want carvalho but seeing some fans of sporting say he isn't the same player since his last injury. Always said the fans of the club he is at will know a lot more than any journalist or scout.
