We are looking at ANY striker that can tie his boot laces.
So on that score we will end up with the ones that can't .

28 Jun 2016 19:15:10
As a proud Welshman, I think you English lads are to hard on yourselves, you should take the positives out of the euros,
1- your scored 4 goals in 4 games
2- You looked good in that kit
3-Think about the hotel fees you have saved.

And you have some difficult fixtures coming up
San Marino
Faro islands.
Andora.

Got to go hotels and plane tickets to get.
Hope we can count on you lot for your support.

ps Was Harry kane kicking for the corner, like they do in rugby, That baffled me.
Au Revoir.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - your 1 man team will be joining us very shortly welsh, we are absolutely crap and only managed one win mate..against you.. :)

Lovely response Ed.

28 Jun 2016 19:54:07
I think you can do Belgium Welsh mate, they have loads of good individuals who don't usually play as a team where you only have one player who just so happens to be your team, simples Gartaff v Belgium should be a cracking game :-)

Lads your forgetting

Ashley, Rambo
Lads the rumour is that Roy and Wayne went to Coleman, at half time and said
Chris give us a chance if we don't win were out, would you rather see us through then the Russians, Coleman then phoned the welsh fa, He was told to help out our neighbours,
So if you count that as your only win, well. You can have it.
Could be an urban myth.
I do feel that we will be thumped by the Belgium, but we have had a ball, and will come back as hero's.
What abut coleman as the next Arsenal manager.

One man team ed? Come on they have more players than just Ramsey!

Anyway Welsh I'm 100% behind you boys! Let's not forget that whilst the Irish and Scottish pussyied out in the Eu referendum you boys stuck with us! Big respect and good look! It is the year of fairytales after all.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i must say i want the welsh to do well SLB, even though they voted for brexit which may well come back and bite us on the arse mate..

29 Jun 2016 07:55:23
Hopefully Belguim will win 6-0 to pipe those Welsh boys down

I was hoping Wales would win but after seeing Ramsey and co celebrate our demise

They can do one.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Jun 2016 07:26:43
The way I see it ed is that this country needs to change and although a remain vote would have been "safer" as nothing would have drastically changed a brexit vote is the only way things could change! For better or worse we shall see but he who dares wins.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - big gamble for me SLB, but i suppose onkly time will tell mate..

29 Jun 2016 12:50:30
No chance, We have got this tournament in the bag - Belgium shmelgium who are they?

You're right ed, we are a one man team but Robson Kanu didn't even start the first game of the tournament and we still won.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i would love the welsh to beat them TPG, if only to stick it to that mop headed elbow throwing lamppost that is fellaini mate.. :)

29 Jun 2016 19:59:22
Banbury the whole of Europe celebrated England's loss. Everybody outside of England hates the English. Your less popular than bin laden😂.

28 Jun 2016 16:35:04
England performance was pathetic Rooney should retire Forster should be no 1 and Kane shouldn't be taking free kicks or corners I think players from lower leagues should be given more of a chance they will be hungrier and determined for success not like these over payed cowards.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

28 Jun 2016 17:00:49
Absolutely, Foster should play in future. I prefer Clyne at RB and Stones alongside Cahill. LB Bertrand.
Midfield; Walcott - Wilshere - Dier - Lalana
Forwards; Rashford and Kane

4-4-2.

28 Jun 2016 17:52:35
Your really fishing for a bite there RG. I'm supprised you included dier lol.

Stop blaming the spurs players, England are a team they should learn from Wales.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

28 Jun 2016 14:48:38
Maybe 52% of the England players wanted to leave Europe as well.

Ever since he proclaimed to be sheep lover, England have been crap😀.

28 Jun 2016 16:45:39
What do you think guys, can Iceland do the same to France as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 10:28:35
When the England team started with 5 of the 10 outfield players coming from Tottenham it's didn't bode well.
Hodgson should never have been England manager. At the time, it should have been Redknapp. Keeping Hodgson on after his World Cup failure was idiotic in the extreme. The problem now, is who should manage England? I have a horrible feeling it will be the woeful Gareth Southgate. Interestingly Tony Pullis was the highest finishing English manager last season, which says it all.

Believable3 Unbelievable9

28 Jun 2016 12:11:18
That's got nothing to do with it.

The whole team was poor tactically, the Spuds players picked all had very good seasons, that can't be argued.

Agree7 Disagree1

28 Jun 2016 14:11:54
So R. G. Kane didn't deserve to go did he, he was the golden boot winner so how can you not pick that, Ali has been the best young midfielder in the league and walker and rose are top full backs. I think Wilshire going was a travesty as he never played all season. Face facts the whole England team were dreadful not just the spurs boys. The biggest mistake Roy made was not taking Drinkwater, noble and Carroll to the euros.

Agree1 Disagree1

28 Jun 2016 14:56:25
Im afraid its a case of again thinking we are better than we really are and never heeding the reality checks each time. Must be a british, no english thing.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 16:43:19
God forbid RG trying to crack a joke guys.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 16:51:39
Raver - your comment sums it up, Roy made the biggest mistake in not taking Drinkwater, Noble and Carroll, all very average players, none of which I would want at Arsenal, never mind playing for the national team! The problem is that England did not have one world class player. Yes, Wilshere clearly showed a lack of match practice, but we simply don't have top quality players.

The fact that 3rd place Tottenham, in a season when the big boys underperformed for various reasons, provided 5 players explains why we got knocked out by Iceland. Both Tottenham full backs are very average PL players. Dier is slightly better. Alli is full of promise, but had a poor Euros. Kane is a decent player, but looked fatigued.
It was a shame that Welbeck and Ox were unfit and Walcott wasn't taken.
From the squad there are only 2 players I would want at Arsenal; Stones and Rashford.

Manager-wise we have a dreadful problem, as the FA seem to want English managers and the top finishing English manager was Alan Pardew who finished with Palace in 15th place! Gareth Southgate will probably get the job, which will be a dreadful choice.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 18:54:47
Walcott didn't deserve to go RG and to be honest Jack W should have stayed at home, he hardly kicked a ball.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 08:50:52
Here's a thought .
There are nearly 3.5 million signatures in favour for a re-vote on Brexit.
There would probably be twice that amount in less days for England not to bother entering a team for the next World Cup.
Matter of fact I wouldn't mind betting we will fail at the qualifying stage.
It's going to take a brave man that wants to take over the job as England manager.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Jun 2016 10:50:07
The petition has been thrown out of parliament because it was set up a month ago by a leave supporter so countless signature on are leave. plus of fraudulently signatures where the same people have used fake names. I think Southgate would be a good option due to his success at U21.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 12:12:16
Yes but only 400,000 are eligible to vote so what's the point.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2016 08:15:12
Well that's a bit special. England out of Europe twice in a week.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

28 Jun 2016 07:37:55
Roy hodgson said this young exciting team has done everything asked of them. Well did you ask them to score or win? Obviously not.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Jun 2016 06:46:26
Never mind!
We can all look forward to all the friendlies England will be playing in the run up to the World Cup and enjoy us winning a few of these.
Because when it comes to any real competition we haven't got a cat in hells chance!
Absolutely pathetic!
I wouldn't even waste the space on this site in commenting on the absolute shower of **** that was on that pitch last night.
Special thanks to Kyle Walker who to me was the only player that looked like he knew how to play football. The rest of them? well forget it. As Jim Royle would say
" International footballers? My arse! ".
